Hallmark Announces Premiere Date for Spring Fling Movie "Like Cats and Dogs"

"STUDIO CITY, CA – February 27, 2017 – We may associate April 15 with the nerve-fraying anxiety of Tax Day in the US. However, this April 15 falls on a Saturday, which can mean just one thing: a stress-free Saturday evening enjoying a romantic comedy on Hallmark Channel. Cassidy Gifford (“The Gallows,” “God’s Not Dead”) and Wyatt Nash (“Graves,” “The Bridge”) star in “Like Cats And Dogs,” a Hallmark Channel Original Movie, premiering Saturday, April 15 (9 p.m. ET/PT).

In “Like Cats And Dogs,” Lara (Gifford) is a dog lover, while Spencer (Nash) is a cat lover. Spencer and Lara could not be more different. So when Go BnB lands them – and their pets – in the same lake house vacation rental over summer, they will have to figure out a way to get along without killing each other. There are complications: Spencer is in a relationship with Susan, though he is constantly questioning where the relationship is going. Lara is rebounding from a bad breakup and not open to any new romantic possibilities. This particular summer, in the quaint waterfront town of South Haven, a budding friendship will give way to peace and harmony in the house between both the couple and their pets. Can a summer romance be far behind?

“Like Cats And Dogs” is a Front Street Production. Harvey Kahn is Executive Producer. Ron Oliver directs “Like Cats And Dogs” from the screenplay written by Aaron Mendelsohn with revisions by Ron Oliver."


My take...
This sounds like another "purr-fectly cute" Spring movie for Hallmark! Any movie with the addition of cats and dogs, is always a plus! Should be fun to see Cassidy Gifford star in her own Hallmark movie and it's nice to see the return of Wyatt Nash on Hallmark, since starring in Karen Kingsbury's "The Bridge."

Hallmark Announces Karen Kingsbury's The Bridge Part 2 is Coming Soon!

A surprising promo was announced in a commercial on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel during the premiere of Flower Shop Mystery: Mum's the Word on Sunday evening (January 17, 2016). Karen Kingsbury's The Bridge Part 2, by popular demand, will air in March, 2016 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

As many of you will recall, the first part of Karen Kingsbury's The Bridge premiered on the Hallmark Channel, December 6th, 2015, during their "Countdown to Christmas" event. Whether or not it will air on the Hallmark Channel, in March or at a later date, is unknown.

I certainly hope the entire story will become available for all Hallmark viewers to see.

It is always exciting to hear the news of upcoming movie projects coming to the Hallmark Channel, and today I have compiled five upcoming movies for 2015 - to share with you!

Two of these upcoming movie projects will be adapted from books by Christian novelist Karen Kingsbury, for the small screen! One of them, titled The Bridge, is Christmas-themed!

When Josie meets up with Maxwell (Campbell), an underachieving, old high school flame (who still has a crush on Josie), Richard dreams up a plan to make himself look good to Josie’s parents: Maxwell will be Josie’s date at Joseph and Claire’s upcoming anniversary party. When Joseph and Claire see Josie with a “loser,” they’ll give anything to have Richard back in the picture. At least, that’s the plan.

The last project I'm sharing is another Hallmark Channel Movie: "Radio Hype", starring Alison Sweeney, who also starred in the Hallmark Movie "Second Chances".

Sweeney will star as a radio host who moves to Chicago for her boyfriend and a new hosting gig, when her picture perfect relationship abruptly ends. She shares her troubles with a fellow colleague, not realizing he is a competing shock jock. Looks like 2015 is already scheduled to be a wonderful year of movies for Hallmark! I am so thrilled to see all the new movies slated ahead for our viewing pleasure and share them with all of you!

They sound so good ... I just can't wait ... But, first we have 12 All New Movies to watch this Christmas Season... so, we will take them one by one... and enjoy the journey!
