SHINING HIS LIGHT:

“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With The Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

Special Delivery! "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" airs Thursday nights on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! #POstables SEE HERE:

Dear POstables,
Every Thursday night - just before Christmas movies air at 9pm/8c. on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, you can see an encore airing of your favorite "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies at 7pm/6c.! Get caught up in the mystery of solving lost letters with Oliver (Eric Mabius), Shane (Kristin Booth), Rita (Crystal Lowe) and Norman (Geoff Gustafson)!

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED: FROM THE HEART - July 30, 2020
Storyline via Hallmark: The POstables' investigation leads them to a public figure who could be brought down by the contents of a damaged letter; Oliver, Shane, Norman and Rita are personally challenged in the aftermath of Valentine's Day. Movie 6 of 12.

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED: HIGHER GROUND - August 6, 2020
Storyline via Hallmark: In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans handyman and blues singer-songwriter, Gabe Recolte was left homeless before he had the chance to express his love for club owner Hattie. Movie 9 of 12

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED: HOME AGAIN - August 13, 2020
Storyline via Hallmark: When The POstables discover an antique vase with a letter inside, they trace the package to three little girls who attempted to sell the vase 18 years ago in order to save their family farm. Movie 10 of 12.

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED: THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED - August 20, 2020
Storyline via Hallmark: The POstables take a road trip in an old Winnebago in order to track down a small boy who they fear may have been kidnapped. Movie 11 of 12.

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED: TO THE ALTAR - August 27, 2020
Storyline via Hallmark: When plans for Rita and Norman’s long-awaited wedding begins falling apart days before their nuptials, their challenges inspire changes that make their wedding more meaningful. Meanwhile, Shane convinces Oliver that the team should urgently focus on finding clues to deliver a package containing a wedding dress. Movie 12 of 12.

Trying to figure out where a lost letter belongs is certainly intriguing, but for many of us devoted POstables, it's the element of faith woven into each story that draws us back each time to these inspiring series. I hope you will tune in on Thursday nights and be uplifted by "Signed, Sealed, Delivered's" hopeful message.
Sincerely your friend, Net

Still have CHRISTMAS on Your Mind? See Andrew Walker in the Hallmark Channel Premiere of "Christmas on My Mind" TONIGHT!

In case you haven't heard, the Hallmark Channel has extended their Christmas in July Movies to August 1st!

Tonight they are premiering for the first time on the Hallmark Channel, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie...

Storyline via Hallmark: A bump on the head, an unexplained wedding dress and temporary short-term amnesia lead Lucy Lovett on a search for the truth about her breakup with longtime sweetheart Zach Callahan. She returns to Bedford Harbor, Maine for the town’s Christmas celebration and rediscovers the woman she used to be, what matters most, and that a Christmas miracle can bring back love thought to be lost forever.

This family friendly Christmas movie is a sweet rom-com. Andrew Walker is, as always, a joy to watch! "Snowed Inn Christmas" and "Debbie Macomber's Dashing Through the Snow" are still my 2 favorite Andrew Walker Christmas movies, but this one is fun, too!

Hope you enjoy this premiere of "Christmas on My Mind" on the Hallmark Channel!

Dear Friends, Here we come to another weekend. Like many of you I've been watching the latest news on TV as coronavirus numbers go up and down. I keep praying cases will decrease so life will able to return to some normalcy. I wear my face mask when I'm in a public place - to protect myself, my family and those around me, but I sure miss smiling at people and seeing their expression back. I hope when things are normal again - we won't lose that friendliness.

Again, I want to thank all of you for your prayers for those in my family who have the virus. I hear they are getting better each day, which is, of course, a great blessing! My heart and prayers go out to those who lost loved ones through all of this. I cannot imagine.

I also want to share that I am fully aware of the latest news coming out with Hallmark and their desire to have more inclusivity with their movies. I know many of you here share my concern on their willingness to produce movies that include same sex couples. This is definitely not something I support according to my Christian faith and beliefs. (I spoke more in depth about this - here.) I've been talking this over with my family, pouring out my heart, and for now, I'm taking it one day at a time here at *It's a Wonderful Movie.* I'm disheartened over their decision, but I want to be here for all of my dear IAWM friends. I will continue to stand on God's word and share which movies are family friendly and which movies include content of concern so you and your family can decide what is best for you. If I personally see any objectionable content I will be changing the channel, and I hope many of you will join me.

As I've shared in the past, each of us has to make the decision for ourselves – on how we’ll respond and what we will watch. It has always been my goal to only share family-friendly programming here at It's a Wonderful Movie, and I will do my best to be even more careful and cautious with the programming I share here in the future. However, if I haven’t pre-screened a movie, it’s sometimes difficult to know. That’s why I’m also truly grateful for those of you – who take the time to share your reviews. Your support and kindness at this time has been such an encouragement to me.

Thank you for being understanding. I hope you all have a nice weekend!

God’s Blessings to you all… Net
