I see "My Grown-Up Christmas List" is one of the movies on DVD. I see that Kayla Wallace is playing a role on the "Landman" series on Paramount+. She is a looooooonnngggggg way from the sweet girl that she played in Hope Valley with this "Landman" role lol. Oh my! The non-family friendly alarm bells would be screaming on this site haha.

DeleteI rewatched "My Grown-Up Christmas List" on Sunday night on Hallmark after "When Calls the Heart." I always find it sweet when real-life couples work together, and of course, Kevin & Kayla have great chemistry. Even their names sound cute together. And the story is also charming and heartwarming. It's such a nice tribute to our military, even if it's not entirely realistic.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to post a review for the movie Melt my heart this Christmas. This was a surprise. I really enjoyed this movie. This is my take: Sometimes we can let fear dictate our decisions. Living life out of fear will never help us to succeed. We should always want to be our authentic self. I would watch this one again. Elizbeth

DeleteI loved the "Christmas at Mistletoe Manor" with Lior Selve, & Madeleine Coghlan. I was wondering where did Oliver get that money? One thing I noticed was one pair of bedroom slippers Oliver was wearing had embroidery on top with a Crown.

It's nice that they put all of these Christmas movies in one DVD collection. Cindy Busby's movie was my favorite of the 4.

It really would be nice if Christmas at the catnip cafe come out on dvd by itself I really love that movie. Hoping for Romance at hope ranch by itself, and adventures in love and birding by itself these are my favorites I want them to come out on its own dvd

DeleteHas anyone noticed the lack of Hallmark DVD’s available. For the 25th anniversary, they are really pushing the streaming service. If you go to the hallmark.com website , they have removed the option of purchasing DVD’s. The Australian 3 movie DVD’s imports (sold on Amazon) have stopped—probably due to tariffs. Who knows why? Is anyone else thinking that in a year or so MAYBE no more new Hallmark movies on DVD. You will have to subscribe to see them???? I hope I am 100% wrong. What is your opinion?
ReplyDeleteYes, I've noticed the decline in DVDs. And it seems we never get the choice of one movie any more. There is typically a bonus movie with every release now.
DeleteI do think the streaming world is increasingly taking over. I never thought I would watch that way, due to previously slow internet speeds, and now that I have 5G - that is pretty much the way I watch most of the movies/series I see.
That said, I still love my DVD collection! There’s just something special about owning a physical copy - with the cover art, extras, and I like the feeling of actually having the movie in my hands rather than floating somewhere in the virtual cloud.
I hope we'll have more Christmas releases from last year, but it will be interesting to see how well the DVDs sell this holiday season.
I imagine, in time, DVDs will likely one day dwindle away like video tapes, cds, and cassette tapes. But I hope we can hold on just a little longer!!!!

DeleteI'm keeping a really close lookout for We Met in December, Single on the 25th, and A Grand Ole Opry Christmas. I can't imagine they wouldn't release those three - since they were so popular. Also, hoping for some other Hallmark movies, too.
