"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."

Movie Reviews:

πŸ’₯An anonymous reviewer at Amazon states that this is a "clean movie," and further says, "Love this movie. Good hearted. It is hard to find a movie today that is not vulgar."

πŸ’₯Dayna A. Ferro also shared this review at Amazon: "AWESOME Movie! I received this movie early today (April 11th, 2023) and boy let me tell you I loved it! A lot of action. Tom Wopat is absolutely AMAZING in it. It wasn’t boring at all for me. Love seeing the same group since the first movie. I didn’t realize that Scooter was Tara’s dad from The Walking Dead. Great seeing Donnie (now Don) Most in it. As Casper Van Dien said, “A modern day Western” I recommend this movie to all. Now I’m heading back to the first movie and binge all three!"

πŸ’₯Another reviewer at Amazon called SnoozeBob shares: "Very enjoyable movie... Good old fashioned action/drama. Only regret is we didn't know about the other two previous sequels/prequels (County Line and County Line, All In)... But that's an easy fix, they're both also on Amazon!"

All three movies: County Line, County Line: All In, and County Line: No Fear are available to stream on Prime Video and purchase on DVD on Amazon.

Trailer:

I hope many of you will enjoy this premiere over Memorial Day weekend. It's described as a modern way Western, so please know there will be violence. As stated above, this movie is rated TV-14.

Please share your Christmas Movie answers in the comment section below. I'm going to give everyone the Memorial Day weekend (until noon, Tuesday, May 30th) to respond before I submit the comments and correct answers. So, please know you won't see your Christmas movie answers show up in the comments below until next Tuesday.

If you'd like to share a Christmas movie you plan to watch on the 25th to celebrate 7 Months 'til Christmas, or if you'd like to comment on anything else besides the game, then please share your thoughts in a separate comment from your answers, so I can go ahead and post those remarks.

My personal Christmas movie pick to mark the 25th is "USS Christmas," starring Jen Lilley and Trevor Donovan! Abigail (a dear friend and follower here) mentioned she might watch this movie last month, and since she shared that, I've been wanting to rewatch it again myself. Since this film has such a strong military theme, I think this will a great time to finally rewatch this patriotic Christmas movie just before Memorial Day. Plus, it doesn't hurt that it has two of my favorite stars!

If you're also curious about Jen Lilley and Trevor Donovan's upcoming NEW 2023 Christmas movies for Great American Family, you can see details here & here!

Can You Guess Jen Lilley's Christmas Movie Co-Star? *UPDATE #5* Have YOU solved this Mystery?

As Jen Lilley is in the process of practicing dance in Bucharest, Romania for her upcoming Christmas movie, Paris Christmas Waltz, she is promising her fans that while they are practicing she is going to give little hints as to who her co-star is.

Jen Lilley's first Co-Star hint is...

Her co-star has never been in a Great American Family or Hallmark movie.

Jen also mentioned he is super nice and... she said he was hitting the gym and dancing for several hours, so this guy must really be into fitness.

She said her second hint was a big deal, but she didn't reveal it, yet. Stay tuned!

Who might this mystery co-star be? At this time, some guesses are swirling through my mind, but I'm just not sure, yet. Do you have any thoughts on it or guesses? Could it be someone who has been on Dancing with the Stars?

Let me know your thoughts in comments below.

Blessings, Net

UPDATE - CLUE #2: On May 24th, Jen Lilley shared Clue #2 - on who her co-star is while taking a break from dancing. At the time, her co-star was out of the camera shot.

Jen asks in a fun, playful way... "have you seen him dance?" And she responds with, "I have... you've really seen him!" And then, she gives an adorable wide-eyed expression towards the camera to emphasize the importance of what she just said.

If you have any guesses, please share in comments below!

UPDATE - CLUE #3: On May 25th, Jen Lilley shared Clue #3 with her film directors, Michael and Janeen Damian... Jen's co-star has something in common with Michael Damian, other than his great hair. Michael goes on to say... he is better looking, a better singer, better actor, etc... but Jen stops him before he reveals too much!

Hmmm??? Who could it be? What similarity does he have with Michael Damian? Does he sing professionally? Or, has he been on a Soap Opera? There are sooo many possibilities!

Do you have any ideas??? Please share in comments below!

Also, this is kind of silly, but fun... I happened to notice as Jen was turning her phone around, just before she included the Damians in her shot (seen above), there's a glimpse of a man in the background wearing all black. I've included a screen-grab above - so you all can see it. Could that be him? Or, possibly a dance instructor? Who knows for sure, but I thought it was interesting and wanted to share, just in case. The mystery continues!!!

UPDATE: (May 27th) Michael Damian said the image I have above of the man in black in the background is NOT Jen's co-star either. Michael responded to me: "That’s a good detective screenshot!!! (he included the detective emoji) …..but that’s our amazing Choreographer Pasha Kovalev."

UPDATE - CLUE #4: On Friday, May 26th, Jen Lilley, along with her director, Janeen Damian, shared two more clues.

Like Michael Damian, the mystery co-star has been on broadway and they (Michael Damian and Jen's co-star) have one similar initial.

Hmmm??? I think you've all solved this!!!

Here's also a screen grab of Jen Lilley from Friday, May 26th, with her co-star standing behind her playing the hands improv game titled "Helping Hands." Basically, if you've never heard of it, a person stands with their arms clasped behind their backs and another person stands behind them and threads their arms through the “holes” on either side, then they perform an act, with the person in front doing all of the talking, while their “helping hands” does all of the gesturing. It can be really fun and silly.

You can see in the image the man's hands and arms, and I only caught a hint of his dark hair from time to time. I tried to capture it, but the brief tilts of their heads were so quick, even with using pause, it was hard to get.

Anyway, I think many of you may be completely right with your guess of Mark Ballas, who was a professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars, performed on Broadway in Jersey Boys, and of course, he shares an initial with Michael Damian. It must be him!

*UPDATE: It's NOT Mark Ballas! See update below...

UPDATE - CLUE #5:: IT'S NOT HIM!

JEN LILLEY'S CO-STAR IS NOT MARK BALLAS!!!

On Friday, May 26th, I shared our link to our guess on Twitter and I tagged Michael Damian and Jen Lilley. Michael responded on May 27th and said Jen's co-star is NOT Mark Ballas.

Wow! Right? All of the clues pointed to him.

Someone else guessed Derek Hough, and while Michael said it wasn't him either, he might have given us a little clue and said... "That’s a very good guess getting close…..???"

Plus, Michael Damian said the image I have above of the man in black in the background is NOT Jen's co-star either. Michael responded to me: "That’s a good detective screenshot!!! (he included the detective emoji) …..but that’s our amazing Choreographer Pasha Kovalev."

So... we are back to square one! I wanted you all to know - the mystery continues!!!

Some guesses I've seen on-line:

Mario Lopez

He was on DWTS, performed on Broadway in Chorus Line, and he shares an initial with Michael Damian and has dark hair

However, I checked his socials and he's on vacation with his family right now in Mexico... so it can't be him!

Matthew Morrison

He was on Broadway in Footloose, Hair Spray, etc... and of course, he & Michael Damian share an initial... so maybe???

Do YOU ALL have any more guesses???

Alison Sweeney Reveals Delicious News for her Hannah Swensen Mystery Franchise πŸ”Ž #Sleuthers SEE HERE:

During an interview with TVInsider - Alison Sweeney shared some wonderful news for all mystery fans! Her latest "Hannah Swensen Mystery" installment won't be the last!

"Carrot Cake Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery" premieres this upcoming FRIDAY, May 19th, 2023, at 9pm/8c. on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and details on the next "Hannah Swensen Mystery" movie are already being revealed.

According to Alison's interview with TVInsider, these are the details given for the next "Hannah Swensen Mystery" after they solve the "Carrot Cake Murder"...

"Then, in the next film, Hannah’s mother Delores (Barbara Niven) is the one to find the dead body of a homeowner while house-hunting for her sister Michelle. Hannah will once again work with her friend Norman (Gabriel Hogan), and she becomes convinced all is not as it seems at the victim’s house."

Learning this news is almost equivalent to being served dessert before the main course. I can't help but wonder if they are finally getting the clue that sleuthers are hesitant to start watching another mystery, since they've already canceled numerous fan-favorites. By promising mystery fans another episode in the "Hannah Swensen Mystery" wheel after this new one, that may be a good way to bring the viewers back - since ratings have taken a dip recently.

"Murder, She Baked" fans have been devoted since the first movie, "Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery" aired on May 2, 2015. The series began with a love triangle between Hannah (Alison Sweeney), Mike (Cameron Mathison), and Norman (Gabriel Hogan). As the series progressed, so did Hannah's relationship with Mike, and much to Hannah's mother's (Barbara Niven) chagrin, the two are still engaged in "Carrot Cake Murder," and according to Alison's recent interview, wedding plans are progressing very slowly.

Will fans keep watching the "Hannah Swensen Mysteries"? That is yet to be seen. "Murder, She Baked" has had a big following since 2015, and many fans have remained captivated by Hannah's story, even when the series transitioned to a new title with "Hannah Swensen Mystery." Viewers didn't really mind the new title or that they changed the town's name from Eden Lake to Lake Eden, but what really disappointed a lot of fans was that they added on another sister, Michelle (Tess Atkins), out of the blue, and removed her other sister, Andrea (Lisa Durupt), who was a fan-favorite. Hopefully, Michelle, the new sister, will end up being a good addition to the series, but I'm still missing Andrea, who moved away with her family. Since they are planning more "Hannah Swensen Mysteries," I would love to see her return for a visit, which of course, involves a delicious mystery and, hopefully, a wedding!

Happy Sleuthing!

πŸ’’ UPtv's JUNE 2023 TV Movie Schedule ❤️ SEE HERE:

With a new movie from Reel One Entertainment
and two movies from Incendo Productions,
see what UPtv is planning in their schedule for June...

The Wedding Wish

Original UPtv Air Date: June 4, 2023

Starring: Kabby Borders and Alex Trumble

Storyline: A diehard romantic sets a date for her wedding despite still being single. As she goes on a quest to find a fiancΓ©, she’s unaware true love might be right under her nose.

Movie Review:

❤️ The Wedding Wish

Is this movie family-friendly? - I'm not sure. Jenny's best friend is male and his manner and voice is suggestive of gay men we see in other movies but there's nothing definite and he has no dubious interaction with other male characters so I think it's a case of make your own mind up.

*SPOILERS FROM HERE ON"

I have always said that with Rom.Coms you do often have to suspend belief but the main thrust of the plot is just plain daft. Having had a fortune-teller predict she would fall in love and then marry on her 35th birthday Jenny decides to organise the complete wedding -venue, reception, flowers etc all without a fiance and she's not even currently dating. (There's only three months to go)

It's just weird.

Enter Blake (whom you rarely see without an annoying smile on his face) an author who is having mental block and needs Jenny's help for his next book (that's her job).

After an inauspicious start they come to an arrangement to help each other - Jenny with Blake's book and he to pose as her fake fiance in setting up the mechanics of the wedding.

Meanwhike Jenny goes to speed dating and after an initial mix-up teams up with Blake whom she is attracted to and decides he will be THE husband but without telling him.

Just before the wedding Blake asks Jenny to go to Paris with him (no mention of co-habiting so again make your own mind up).

She then winges that they were to get married in a couple of days - big news to Blake who tells her to wise up and immediately breaks things off.

Can you blame the guy for running as quick as he can in the opposite direction especially when they've only known each other for such a very short while?

There is, of course, the obligatory face-off between Jenny and Tyler who at this stage insinuates that he has had deep feelings for her but there is a nice unexpected twist and maybe not the ending you might think.

There is a certain amount of chemistry between Jenny and Tyler although not in spades but she only suddenly decides she has had feelings for him all along after he also has apparently had enough of her.

I don't really buy it.

I personally find the movie superficial and much as I have great admiration for Reel One movies which are generally family-friendly and of a pleasing standard this for me is not one of their better offerings.

Florence's rating - 4

Written in the Stars

Original UPtv Air Date: June 11, 2023

Note #1: This movie previously premiered on the BYU-TV network. This will be the first time this film from Incendo Productions will air on the UPtv channel.

Note #2: Much of the movie, based on the storyline we are provided (see below), appears to revolve around the study of horoscopes and astrology. Due to that content, I will not be promoting this film, but I wanted to be sure you all were aware.

Storyline: When Kelsey's magazine approves her pitch about a skeptic's take on love and horoscopes, she is teamed up with Astrology guru, Carter. Clearly from opposite worlds, they put their competing perspectives aside to work the story around a local meteor shower festival. Through both fact and fate, they soon unearth that love really can be written in the stars.

The Secret Sauce

Original UPtv Air Date: June 18, 2023

Note: This movie previously premiered on the BYU-TV network. This will be the first time this film from Incendo Productions will air on the UPtv channel.

Storyline: Marketing executive Laura is sent to oversee a small-town cook-off and entice Jim, the local barbecue restaurant owner, to let her license his family's secret BBQ sauce. While Laura struggles with small-town life, and while Jim resists the idea of joining forces with a large business, the two soon discover how well their differences work together. With a dash of trust and a splash of kindness, Jim and Laura’s friendship slowly marinates into something much sweeter.

Movie Reviews:

πŸ²πŸ” "The Secret Sauce is family-friendly, delightful, and light-hearted. The small-town community feel is heartwarming. Overall, the storyline is fairly straightforward and easy-going, with no major plot twists or surprises. I enjoyed both leads, Tori Anderson and Corey Sevier, and their chemistry was just as sweet as the sauce! Marketing executive Laura Glickman (Tori Anderson) comes from the big city of Chicago to the mid-west to persuade the laid-back, set-in-his-ways, Jim Covell (Corey Sevier) into selling the recipe for his secret sauce. Course, their relationship may become more than mere business. I enjoyed this charming movie, and I hope you will, too! Fair warning: It might induce you to fire up the BBQ!" ~Net

πŸ²πŸ” "I watched and recorded The Secret Sauce on 12/29/2021 and loved it!" ~Namegirl
