Lori Loughlin Announces Return to "Garage Sale Mystery" Series




Lori Loughlin is officially bringing the beloved Garage Sale Mystery series back to Hallmark Channel!

Lori shared this exciting and much anticipated announcement in a video on Instagram, revealing that the long-running mystery series will return in the fall of 2026. The new movie will premiere first on Hallmark Channel and will stream the next day on Hallmark+.

A total of 16 Garage Sale Mystery movies aired between 2013 and 2022, and now the case is officially back on!


So far, Hallmark hasn't revealed any casting details beyond Lori's return, which leaves us all back to our sleuthing.

We'll have to wait and see if Steve Bacic will reprise his role as Jason Shannon, Jennifer's husband, or if Sarah Strange will return as Dani, Jennifer's best friend and business partner at their antique shop.

It's also still unknown whether Eva Bourne will be back as Jennifer and Jason's daughter, Hannah Shannon, if Connor Stanhope will return as their son, Logan, or whether Kevin O'Grady will once again portray Detective Frank Lynwood.

I'm certainly hoping we'll get to see these familiar faces again. It just wouldn't feel quite the same without so many of the characters we've come to know and love!

Lori Loughlin's Announcement:



Hallmark hasn't announced an exact premiere date just yet, so for now, all we know is that the new "Garage Sale Mystery" will arrive sometime this fall. Until then, I guess we'll have to keep searching for more clues!

The new movie is currently filming and has the working title: Garage Sale Mysteries: She Took an Axe.

As many of you may remember, Hallmark ended its working relationship with Lori Loughlin in 2019 following the college admissions bribery scandal. Lori made her acting return as her beloved character Abigail Stanton in the When Hope Calls Christmas specials in 2021 on Great American Famiy, and earlier this year she stepped back into Abigail's shoes once again on the Hallmark Channel during the season 13 finale of When Calls the Heart. Hallmark has also announced that Lori will return for season 14 of the series.



It's been heartwarming to see so many fans and fellow actors welcoming Lori back with such kindness and open arms.

I'm certainly hoping this is only the first of many more Garage Sale Mystery movies to come!

"Hudson & Rex" Season 8 Coming to UPtv




Season 8 of Hudson & Rex is coming to UPtv this August! In this season, actor Luke Roberts steps into the lead role as Detective Mark Hudson.

There have been some mixed feelings on this, but I have good news! If you haven't heard, John Reardon, who played Detective Charlie Hudson for the previous seven seasons, is returning to reprise his role in Season 9 of Hudson & Rex, which is currently filming.

Fans were, of course, not happy when John was initially let go from the series. John Reardon had originally stepped away during Season 7 to undergo treatment for tonsil cancer, but was not brought back for Season 8. I think it is wonderful news for John Reardon and the fans that his character will return in season 9!

In the eighth season, Detective Mark Hudson (Luke Roberts) joins the team. A veteran of canine units in the Canadian forces and the Halifax PD, Mark becomes Rex’s new partner and a smart and strong team leader. Mark and Rex place complete trust in each other and in the extended team as they face intense new challenges. In the episode airing August 20, Captain Sandy Yawn plays Captain Michelle Sirocco, a highly professional captain who is currently helming a somewhat smaller vessel while she waits for her next super yacht to be outfitted. Unfortunately, her current charter is the thoroughly unlikeable Jake Kaufman, a ruthless businessman, along with his wife and a business partner. When Kaufman is murdered, a deckhand becomes the prime suspect. But Rex leads Mark to believe that the motives and method of the killing might be much more complicated.

🏈 Hallmark Media Announces "HOLIDAY TOUCHDOWN: A BEARS LOVE STORY"




Hallmark Media is kicking off some exciting Christmas movie news today as we celebrate being just six months away from Christmas!

The network has officially announced a third movie in its popular NFL-inspired holiday movie series - Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story!

Following Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, starring Hunter King and Tyler Hynes, and Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story, starring Holland Roden and Matthew Daddario, Hallmark is ready to celebrate Christmas with another football romance.

Unfortunately, Hallmark hasn't revealed the starring cast for this new movie just yet, so we're still waiting for that news! Until then, I'd love to hear your guesses. Which actors do you think should lead this next holiday touchdown? Share your casting picks in the comments below!
