My thoughts...

"Little House on the Prairie" will always hold a very special place in my heart. I grew up wearing braids just like Laura Ingalls, always admiring her spunk, her inquisitive character... and later, as I learned more about the real Laura Ingalls Wilder, I admired her as a writer, and a true American Pioneer. For all of us who still love this precious Television series, this will be a delightful look back with those who created it!

  The Premiere Date for "When Calls The Heart" is the day before Easter, April 4, 2015!  (*and the day after my birthday... Yay!*) WCTH will air in the 9 PM/8c. hour on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday nights. I did find this timing surprising, since other Hallmark dramas have aired at the 8 PM/7c. hour and "When Calls the Heart" is definitely a wonderful family drama. However, I do know devoted fans will watch whenever the Hallmark Channel airs it!

Return once again to the prairie world of Clark and Marty Davis, starring Dale Midkiff and Katherine Heigl, in the Love Comes Softly Series, with characters created by author Janette Oke, and first brought to the small screen on the Hallmark Channel, by director Michael Landon, Jr.

TBN will air 10 movies in the series, leading up to Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, for those of us in the Eastern Standard Time Zone, they will be shown quite late, or early in the morning - depending on how you look at it. So hopefully you have a DVR, or something you can record them on - to watch at a later, or rather, in this case... earlier time!

Many new adventures in Coal Valley await us, as Season 2 of WHEN CALLS THE HEART will premiere on the Hallmark Channel, April 4, 2015. That date falls on Easter Weekend... a lovely time, I think, to bring back this wonderful family series!

Also, this weekend, on Sunday January 11th, the Hallmark Channel will be airing the first When Calls the Heart premiere movie. Fans of When Calls the Heart, AKA Hearties, will be having their own party, via Twitter.
