⛵️ New Hallmark Movie -- "Love on Deck" Starring Daniel Lissing and Rhiannon Fish

Hallmark announces a new 2026 rom-com movie starring Rhiannon Fish (Polar Opposites, A Christmas Castle Proposal) and Daniel Lissing (Single on the 25th, Santa Tell Me) with this caption on their socials:

"Ahoy! ⚓️ Love on Deck starring Daniel Lissing and Rhiannon Fish is officially in production in beautiful Queensland, Australia.

Set sail for love when Love on Deck premieres this summer! ⛵️"

This is such fun news, and I have a feeling these two will be great together. I'm sure Daniel loves that they are filming in his home country. (the Australia continent)

As I'm currently writing this, it hasn't been revealed whether Love on Deck will premiere during Hallmark Channel's Passport to Love films in June or Summer Nights in August. I think it suits Passport to Love best as a destination movie, but you never know.

It's also rather fun that Rhiannon *FISH* is starring in a nautical type movie about boats and water.

Guess WHO Is Starring With Jessica Lowndes In NEW Christmas Movie - - SEE HERE:

Jessica Lowndes gave us a sneak peek today into the Christmas movie she is currently filming, and I couldn't resist sharing these pictures and details with you all!

First, Jessica shared that actress Farrah Aviva (A Brush with Christmas), who is a dear friend in real life, will play her best friend in the movie, and Farrah's husband, Robin Dunne (The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries, My Christmas Hero) is directing.

Jessica and Farrah also portrayed co-workers and friends in the 2015 Hallmark Christmas movie, Merry Matrimony.

In this next image below, Jessica shares a picture of herself all decked out for the holidays in a festive coat and scarf, and if you look close you can see her co-star almost photobombing her pic... peeking behind her!

As for new movies, Merritt Patterson just recently filmed "A Vintage Christmas" with Christopher Russell for Nicely Entertainment.

The story, according to filmink: "In the small town of Oak Creek, Noah Harrington's (Christopher Russell) unpopular construction plans take a surprising turn when he discovers a cache of old Letters to Santa from the 1990s. Seeing an opportunity for redemption, he enlists the help of town historian, Tessa Findlay (Merritt Patterson), to fulfill the long-forgotten Christmas wishes. The pair embark on a heartwarming journey, rekindling the spirit of Christmas in the community, and before too long, an undeniable spark develops. But Noah is hiding a secret: Tessa's own childhood wish is among the letters. Can Noah salvage his job and the love of his life with a Christmas wish?"

I love how this story synopsis has a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" feel to it!

No official announcement has been made on where this will air - stay tuned!

In addition to seeing Brittany Bristow in a movie this week on Great American Family, I can also share with you that she is another actress who has been busy filming. In April, she filmed a Christmas movie with Marcus Rosner for Reel One Entertainment.

Brittany is currently filming a new movie—today, in fact, is day one! She hasn't revealed her co-star yet, but she is encouraging her followers to guess who it might be.

Breaking News: 'When Calls the Heart' Stars to Reunite for a 2024 Hallmark Christmas Movie 🎄 #Hearties *SEE HERE:

Variety has just announced that 'When Calls the Heart' stars Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing will reunite for a 2024 Hallmark Christmas Movie, ‘Santa Tell Me!’

Hallmark is currently rolling out this movie news and more for the Television Critics Association press tour on Tuesday, February 6th.

Also, Variety revealed, "During Hallmark’s presentation, the network also announced the rebranding of two of their channels. Hallmark Drama is being rebranded to Hallmark Family on Feb. 28, while Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is changing to Hallmark Mystery on March 6."

Actress Jillian Murray (A Brush with Christmas, Christmas in the Pines) shared on social media that she is currently filming her CHRISTMAS MOVIE!!! Recently, during the premiere of An Unlikely Angel, Great American Family announced Jillian Murray would be starring in a new Christmas movie for their network.

In the images Jillian shared we can see she is filming her holiday film down under in Australia, but they are using American cars, so the setting of the movie most likely is not intended to be Australia.

Jillian also gives a glimpse of her CO-STAR, who is quite recognizable! See if YOU can guess WHO HE IS in images below...

In this next image, we can see Jillian buckled up in a car with a cute fluffy white beret and coat.

I think it's pretty clear in this picture who Jillian Murray's co-star is, even from the side view. He is certainly no stranger to Great American Family and Christmas movies.

It's actor Daniel Lissing, from When Calls the Heart, When Hope Calls Christmas, A Christmas Star, Catering Christmas, and more! Daniel and his family are from Sydney, Australia, so I'm guessing location choice was chosen specifically for him to be close to family.

Jillian Murray also shared these fun mirror selfies of the sweet dress she's wearing in her Christmas movie, with the caption, "Coordinated with my phone today." Both her phone and dress are a lovely shade of Christmas green!

And it looks like Jillian Murray has an adoradle furry co-star, too! She shared images of herself dancing with this cute little doggie festively dressed like Santa's elf!

Also, I wanted to let you all know I received some exciting Great American Family Insiders information over Memorial Day weekend, and while not all of the programming details can be revealed, quite yet, until the promotional department releases it, I did want to mention, briefly, that the new movie premieres, other than the Christmas in July film, A Belgian Chocolate Christmas, are likely to come in late July or early August. Once they begin, the network plans to have movie premieres every Saturday night throughout the rest of the year. Great American Media is also still ironing out their deal with the streaming service, Pureflix, but rest assured, more programming is coming and possibly some different genres, too... so stay tuned! That's all I can say for now, but it definitely sounds like some exciting things are coming!!!

By the way, Candace Cameron Bure has been recently sharing some pics on social media - as they are working on her Candy Rock Entertainment Christmas movie! Last years production was "Christmas on Candy Cane Lane," starring Andrea Barber and Dan Payne. Candace is working with Director Martin Wood once again, who also directed her recent Christmas movie, "My Christmas Hero," and many of the "Aurora Teagarden" films.

On April 3rd, Great American Family shared on their social media platforms that we were only 200 Days until the beginning of Great American Christmas 2023, which means (according to a quick online search) that Christmas movies should begin on Great American Family on Friday, October 20, 2023!

Just watching this promo gives me all the warm fuzzy feelings and spirit of Christmas! I love that Great American Family is welcoming us home once again to join them for another wonderful Christmas movie season! So far, the network has announced 2 of their upcoming 21 Christmas movies for 2023 - Royal Christmas Ball, starring Danica McKellar, and Christmas By Chance, starring Trevor Donovan and Merritt Patterson. I know we all can't wait to hear about the 19 other NEW Christmas movies!

GAC Family Announces Start Date for their 2022 Great American Christmas Movies!

GAC Family announced today (Tuesday, April 12, 2022) on social media - that their Christmas Movies will begin for the 2022 Holiday Season 200 days from now on Saturday, October 29, 2022! This is wonderful, exciting news!

If you're curious how this compares to Christmas 2021, last year GAC Family began their Christmas movie season on October 30th. (Their preview special aired even earlier on October 16th, hosted by Debbie Matenopoulos & Cameron Mathison ("Home & Family")!)

Since GAC Family is beginning their Christmas season around the same time, it makes one wonder if they are planning to create the same number of Christmas movies again this year. In 2021, GAC Family had 12 new Christmas films, plus the "When Hope Calls: Christmas" special.

Thus far, GAC Family has officially announced one new Christmas movie for the 2022 Christmas season titled: "Catering Christmas" starring Merritt Patterson ("Jingle Bell Princess") and Daniel Lissing ("A Christmas Star"). See details - here.

NEW YORK, NY – October 11, 2021 – GAC Family today announced Sara Canning (“9-1-1,” “Nancy Drew”) and Daniel Lissing (“The Rookie,” “When Calls the Heart”) will star in “A Christmas Star.” The new holiday film premieres December 12 at 8pm ET/PT as part of GAC Family’s “Great American Christmas” franchise.
