πŸ”Ž NEW Weekly Mystery Series Being Developed for Hallmark - 'Camper & Criminals Mysteries' πŸ”Ž SEE HERE:

Author Tonya Kappes has some thrilling news for mystery fans! Her popular book series, Camper & Criminals Mysteries, is being adapted into a television show, and she has announced that the project is in collaboration with Hallmark Media.

Tonya posted the information on social media, and I thought it would be great to share this with all of you!

Tonya Kappes' Instagram post...

✨HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!✨

I’ve been keeping this secret for so long, but now I can finally share… Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery Series has been in development for a weekly television show, and now I can officially say—it’s with Hallmark Media!

This journey has been surreal, and I’m beyond grateful for every single one of you who has fallen in love with Mae West, Normal, Kentucky, and all the cozy mysteries along the way. Your support, enthusiasm, and love for these stories have made this moment possible.

Seeing Camper & Criminals take this incredible next step is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to bring you along for the ride. Stay tuned for more updates—because this adventure is just getting started!

Who’s ready to see Normal, Kentucky come to life on screen?! Drop a ⛺πŸ”Ž in the comments if you’re excited!

WELCOME TO NORMAL Y’ALL!

About the 'Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery' Series via Tonya Kappes website:

Welcome to Normal, Kentucky, where nothing is quite… normal. Meet Mae West, a former NYC socialite whose glamorous life comes to a screeching halt when her husband’s Ponzi scheme lands him in prison—and Mae without a dime to her name. Now, she’s inherited a campground in the middle of nowhere, complete with quirky campers, a rundown RV, and a town full of eccentric characters.

From scheming criminals to small-town secrets, Mae’s adventure in Normal is anything but a vacation. But with her new band of unlikely friends, including the no-nonsense property manager, Dottie, and a nosy (but lovable) group of locals known as the Laundry Club Ladies, Mae might just turn this little campground, and her life around. That is, if she can avoid the dead bodies that seem to be hidden in the Daniel Boone National Forest.

A Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery Series is full of laughter, lovable characters, and plenty of mystery that will keep you guessing, and coming back for more. Who knew life in Normal could be so delightfully strange?

----------------------------------

My Quick Take:

This seems like such a unique story with lots of interesting characters. Has anyone here read this book series?

It also appears that this series will feature elements of mystery and comedy.

Any guesses who the female lead might be? A few names that keep coming to mind for me are Ashley Williams, Rhiannon Fish, or Kimberley Sustad.

Do you all have any thoughts? Guesses? If so, please share in comments below!

I haven't read this book series myself, but if you'd like to check out more details for the Camper & Criminals Mystery series, click here to read Amazon reviews.

🐎 Saddle up! 🐎 Hallmark Channel's NEW TV Series "Ride" to Premiere in March - See Here:

Hallmark released details on the upcoming premiere of their new TV series, Ride, which may be their own version of Heartland meets Yellowstone.

According to Hallmark's press release, viewers should hold on to their cowboy hats for the debut of an all-new original series, "Ride," at 9 p.m. ET/PT, which follows the intertwined lives of a rodeo family dynasty.

This storyline was also given for Ride in the press release: "Nancy Travis (Last Man Standing, The Kominsky Method), Tiera Skovbye (Riverdale, Nurses), Beau Mirchoff (Good Trouble, Hidden Gems), Sara Garcia (The Flash, Reign), Jake Foy (Designated Survivor, A Little Daytime Drama) and Tyler Jacob Moore (Barry, Shameless) star in the new, multigenerational family ensemble following the lives of the McMurrays, part of a rodeo dynasty going back a generation, as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat. After a tragic loss, each character embarks on an empowering journey of transformation and self-discovery while also uncovering a twisted web of secrets, threatening to tear the family and their small Colorado town apart at the seams.

Due to it's country feel, this new series looks rather intriguing to me. I haven't fully decided if I will watch; it will probably depend on the promos released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. It's tough to decide whether or not to get involved in another series.

Blessings, Net

πŸ‡ HALLMARK has Greenlit RIDE, an Original Primetime Series for 2023! 🚜

"Saddle up, Hallmark fans: the channel has greenlit Ride, an original primetime series about a rodeo dynasty," Deadline reveals.

According to their article, "Ride is described as a multigenerational family drama that follows the lives of the Murrays as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat. Here’s the logline: “After a tragic loss, each character embarks on an empowering journey of transformation and self-discovery while also uncovering a twisted web of secrets, threatening to tear the family and their small Colorado town apart at the seams. Emotions run high and clashes are common in the complicated Murray clan, but they are a tight-knit group who don’t give up easily. And the three strong women of the family – widowed rodeo queen Missy, matriarch Isabel, and former teen run-away Valeria – resolve to stand strong against all challenges and save their land, come what may.”

We can expect to the series to premiere in 2023 on the Hallmark Channel, as filming will take place this summer in Calgary, Alberta in Canada. Deadline also mentions Ride will be "co-produced by Endeavor-backed Blink49 Studios and Seven24 Films, in partnership with Bell Media for CTV Drama Channel in Canada. The series is based on an original script by husband and wife writing team Rebecca Boss & Chris Masi (Our Kind of People), who along with Sherri Cooper-Landsman (Beauty and the Beast, Brothers and Sisters) are showrunners and executive producers."
