New 'When Calls the Heart' Season 14 Promo with Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Lori Loughlin & More + 'What If Christmas'

Such exciting previews during the premiere of Lori Loughlin's mystery movie, Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage!

Along with a promo for Lori Loughlin's upcoming Christmas movie, What If Christmas, the Hallmark Channel also shared a preview of When Calls the Heart Season 14 - coming in January, 2027!!!

When Calls the Heart Season 14 Preview:

It is so delightful to see Elizabeth's excited reaction as Abigail walks toward her in Hope Valley! I just love the way she joyfully shouts Abigail's name! And of course Abigail says she can't miss her wedding - as the two embrace! This promo truly warmed my heart!

We also get a little hint of Rosemary, Elizabeth, and Abigail walking and talking together like old times, plus a quick snippet of Nathan, Allie, Elizabeth, Abigail, and LJ in Elizabeth's kitchen at the end.

I'm already so excited for the new season of When Calls the Heart to come in January, but until then I'm also loving the Christmas promos, as well!

Here's Hallmark's First Look of What If Christmas
starring Lori Loughlin and Tom Cavanagh:

Have a Great Weekend, Everyone!

I hope all of you who enjoy a good mystery (like me!) will tune in for the new Garage Sale Mystery premiering this weekend! I’m so happy to see this mystery series return.

And Crossroad Springs looks like it will be another wonderful episode, too. I’ve really been enjoying this sweet series - love the faith, family, and farm life!

Speaking of family, I also wanted to share a little bit about what happened to my family this week. We had what seemed like a normal thunderstorm come through at my parents’ home. I was there, along with other family. There wasn’t a thunderstorm watch or warning at the time, so we really weren’t expecting anything severe. The lightning became pretty intense, and then suddenly the wind picked up tremendously. Before we knew it, we started hearing loud crashing sounds around the house. I think we all said all at once, what was that?

More than twenty evergreen trees came down, with three of them crashing into windows. Oh my... the mess!!!! There was broken glass, pine needles, debris, and rain coming into the house. The force of everything even knocked shelves from the walls and broke some glass dΓ©cor inside. (even some sentimental Christmas pieces)

Needless to say, we were all pretty shaken.

I’m so thankful for the strong men in our family who went right to work, even in the pouring rain, clearing debris and boarding up the broken windows... while all of us girls cleaned the glass and debris on the inside, and we’ve all still been cleaning up inside and outside ever since.

And, of course, our weather was unusually hot this week for September, which has made the cleanup even more challenging!

It has been heartbreaking to see so much damage. Those beautiful trees have been there for years and hold so many wonderful family memories. Some beautiful fencing was also taken down, there is damage to the roof, and seeing the property look so different overnight has been emotional.

But even in the midst of all that devastation, we are ALL praising God.

When I think about how close those trees and flying debris came to where we were, I’m simply overwhelmed with gratitude that we were all safely inside, and no one was hurt. Things can be repaired, and trees can eventually be replanted, but our family is safe, and that is what matters most. And all of the neighbors are safe, too, although they also had plenty of damage to their homes, as well.

So, my friends, please take care and stay safe, especially if storms are headed your way. Sometimes severe weather can come so unexpectedly.

God bless you all,

'When Calls the Heart' Season 14 Filming Begins!!!

Exciting news, Hearties! The wait is officially over - Season 14 of When Calls the Heart is now in production! 🎬

The cast began filming today, August 4, 2026, at the Hope Valley Jamestown movie set at MacInnes Farm in Langley, British Columbia. Production is scheduled to continue through November, which means we have plenty of Hope Valley behind-the-scenes sneak peeks to look forward to in the months ahead!

And, of course, many of the familiar faces we've grown to love over the years will be returning... Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Jack Wagner, Chris McNally, Viv Leacock, Natasha Burnett, Andrea Brooks, and more are all back for another season!

And, of course, Lori Loughlin is returning as Abigail Stanton! We saw Abigail make her much-anticipated return in the Season 13 finale, so I'm very curious to see what Season 14 has in store for her.

Now that filming has officially begun, I'm sure we'll get a few little clues from the cast along the way. You know I'll be keeping my eyes open for any Hope Valley happenings!

And then there's the big question...

Will Season 14 bring us a wedding?

After all, Season 13 ended with Elizabeth and Nathan engaged, so naturally, I'm already wondering if wedding bells will be ringing in Hope Valley this season! Of course, When Calls the Heart always has plenty of stories unfolding beyond romance, so I'm curious to see where all of our favorite characters' journeys take them next.

I'm especially hoping we get more sweet Allie and Oliver moments. I would also love to see some new storylines develop for Goldie and L.J. And, I'm going to put this out there... I kind of hope Faith finds love this season! I think that could make for a very interesting storyline.

But what about you, Hearties?

What storylines, friendships, or couple pairings are you hoping to see in Season 14? I'd love to hear your thoughts, predictions, and Hope Valley wish list in the comments below!

Until then, I'll be dreaming of Hope Valley... and wondering what Season 14 has waiting just around the corner.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

πŸ”Ž Case Closed! See Who's Returning for the New "Garage Sale Mystery"

Sleuthers, great news... another Garage Sale Mystery is on the case this September - Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage!

The premiere may be only weeks away, but there are still plenty of clues waiting to be uncovered.

One question has been keeping us mystery fans guessing: Who's returning for this all-new mystery installment?

Need a clue, or are you ready to make a hunch?

Hallmark recently dropped a Fall movie promo that included a few clips of this mystery, and of course, I had to screen-grab the evidence...

Now for the big reveal...

Hallmark has confirmed that the entire familiar crew is back on the case! Returning are Lori Loughlin, Sarah Strange, Steve Bacic, Kevin O'Grady, Connor Stanhope, and Eva Bourne.

I'm so delighted that all the members of this main cast are stepping back into their roles! Their last time working together was 2019. It's going to be such a sweet reunion to see everyone together again.

And this mystery sounds especially good...

Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage follows Jennifer Shannon when a member of her true-crime book club is murdered during the group's reenactment of the infamous Lizzie Borden case.

That sounds like a mystery with plenty of twists and potential suspects to keep us all guessing until the final reveal!

If you're also looking ahead to Hallmark's Fall into Love lineup, you can also check out all the movie premieres coming in August, September, and October by clicking here.

UPDATE: After I posted the above, Hallmark released press photos for Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage. See *here*.

Until next time... keep following the clues!

Happy Sleuthing,

🍁 Hallmark Channel's 2026 *Fall into Love* Movies

The Hallmark Channel is premiering 8 movies for Fall into Love!

The schedule includes rom-coms and mysteries with many stars you'll recognize: Aimee Teegarden, Chris McNally, Corey Sevier, Meghan Ory, Kevin McGarry, Lori Loughlin, Julie Gonzalo, Niall Matter, and more!

See all of the details below...

**************************

Love Finds You

Premiere Date: August 22, 2026

Starring: Aimee Teegarden and Chris McNally

Storyline: A mislabeled package convinces jewelry designer Alex she's found her ideal man, sending her and delivery driver Jack on a citywide search that helps them discover what they truly want.

Movie Reviews:

🍁 Love Finds You is so amusing. :) –Maria

🍁 Heads up. Love Finds You has a brief gay couple in it. Small children probably wouldn't catch it, but teens would. I didn't care too much for the movie and I will leave it at that. ~Joyce in Carolina

🍁 Love Finds You - Totally with you on this, Joyce! The storyline was just way too ridiculous for me! Not even worth a lengthy review! –Mark 25

🍁 Love Finds You - I only watched part of this... I just couldn't get into it. The story of who the purple box belonged to - just seemed very odd to me and farfetched. Thank you to Joyce on the heads up on the same-sex couple who are briefly seen standing in a doorway together. For anyone curious, it's one of those implied obvious moments that lasts maybe 20 seconds. ~Net

Much About Love

Premiere Date: August 29, 2026

Starring: Ashley Williams and Niall Matter

Storyline: A TV director returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of "Much Ado About Nothing."

Movie Reviews:

🍁 Much about Love is fantastic! –Maria

🍁 I started watching Much Ado About Love, but so far, it has been much ado about nothing for me. The movie is slow, the storyline hasn’t grabbed me, and I’m finding it hard to believe that an actress who is starring in a play suddenly can’t remember any of her lines.

As for Kimberley and Niall’s storyline, I feel completely lost, like we missed something along the way and are just supposed to understand their connection. I also found Niall’s beard much too dark and fake looking, which was very distracting.

I usually skip Ashley’s movies because I’m never sure if they’ll be family friendly for my taste. I had heard this one was, so I decided to give it a chance, but unfortunately, it just hasn’t been very good. With only 30 minutes left, I’m still not sure I’ll finish it…and that says a lot! ~Sarah L

🍁 Much Ado About Love - Sarah, my sentiments exactly on this movie! I couldn't get into it at all, and it felt like Kimberley and Niall were having a tough time of it too. I watched it all the way through, and if you didn't finish watching it, you didn't miss much! ~Mark 25

🍁 I finished it, although I’m still not sure why! πŸ˜‚ Oops... I just noticed I called her Kimberley, but I meant Ashley.

I agree with you, Mark, about Ashley and Niall, their relationship felt forced and not natural. Again, I just couldn't get pass Niall's Just For Men beard... so distracting!

It also made no sense that Ashley’s character never acted again to prove that horrible review from her past wrong. The whole movie was a mess from the start and never recovered. I hope there will not be a sequel. ~Sarah L

🍁 Sarah L & Mark 25, Thank you both for sharing reviews for Much About Love!!!!! I finished it tonight and well, it was rather slow for me, too. I struggled through it. And Sarah, you're so right - Ashley's character Bea never got over her acting fear. That really felt incomplete for me, too. I kept thinking she & Benny would take the stage again together. That was a big miss for me.

It is lighthearted and family-friendly, but a one-time watch for me. ~Net

Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding

Premiere Date: September 5, 2026

Starring: Tamera Mowry-Housley and RisteΓ‘rd Cooper

Storyline: When Gethsemane is invited to play at a wedding, she and Eamon find themselves involved in the death of a member of the bridal party.

Falling into Place

Premiere Date: September 12, 2026

Starring: Nathan Witte & Alvina August

Storyline: Kaia returns home for her town's fall festival as well as her high school reunion and spends the week with her childhood best friend, James, to complete their unfinished fall bucket list.

Movie Reviews:

🍁 I enjoyed “falling into place” it’s the most fall themed movie they’ve had this year, so far, I’m looking forward to “pumpkin regatta romance”& “the spirit of Halloween”, as they seem Fall & Halloween themed, I will watch “knight to remember” ~Anonymous

🍁 Falling into Place - This movie is super sweet! It follows the well-known formula of the city girl coming home and falling back in love with the boy who stayed in their small town. She, of course, likes him - but is still torn between her big city life and moving back home to be near family and friends. Sometimes, it's a little annoying that they can't see right away how much they love their life in their hometown, but it's still the storyline that most of us love and find so cozy and lightheated to watch. I know I do, and hint, hint, there's a happy Hallmark ending!

Their Fall bucket list was super cute to watch, and the supporting cast was great, too, including Geoff Gustafson (Norman from Signed, Sealed, Delivered), Stephanie Bennett (The Nine Lives of Christmas, Another Sweet Christmas), and BJ Harrison (Ainsley McGregor Mysteries, I'll Be Seeing You). Overall, it's a delightful watch - an ideal movie for the autumn season. ~Net

Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage

Premiere Date: September 19, 2026

Starring: Lori Loughlin, Sarah Strange, Steve Bacic, Kevin O'Grady, Connor Stanhope, and Eva Bourne

Storyline: One of the members of Jennifer Shannon's true-crime book club is murdered during the group's reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case.

Movie Review:

πŸ”Ž Also, thought I’d add in case anyone was curious that the new Garage Sale Mystery is really good. It was great to see all the cast again, almost like zero time has passed. ~Allie B

πŸ”Ž Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage - It was wonderful to see everyone again (all of the regular cast members) for this all-new Garage Sale Mystery! The mystery itself was just okay, but I really enjoyed the easy flow between all of the characters as they worked to figure out whodunit. (it's obvious they are all friends behind-the-scenes) The costumes they also wore for a murder-mystery reenactment were beautiful and fun! I guessed who the killer was fairly easily and the reveal was kind of lackluster, but like I said, it was great to have everyone back, and I'm hoping there are more to come! ~Net

Pumpkin Regatta Romance

Premiere Date: September 26, 2026

Starring: Mishael Morgan and Corey Sevier

Storyline: When their fathers refuse to move past a disagreement, Nadine, daughter of the boat shop owner, and Ethan, a pumpkin farmer, team up to heal the feud and revive the town's Pumpkin Regatta.

Movie Review:

🍁 For anyone curious, Pumpkin Regatta Romance is really cute. I love that Hallmark made all of these Fall movies this year. ~Allie B

🍁 Pumpkin Regatta Romance - This was a lighthearted, wholesome movie with plenty of Fall fun! The chemistry was so-so for me, but I really enjoyed the small-town community feel. There was just a nice, warm quality to the story that made it an easy, cozy watch. The pumpkin boat races at the end were definitely a fun way to wrap things up, although it was pretty obvious those weren't real giant pumpkins! It actually left me wondering, could you really use a giant pumpkin as a boat??? Overall, this was still a nice watch. ~Net

A Knight to Remember

Previous Title: Her Knight at the Museum

Premiere Date: October 3, 2026

Starring: Julie Gonzalo and James Trevena

Storyline: When practical museum conservator Emily Porter (Julie Gonzalo) restores a centuries-old statue of legendary knight Sir Griffin de Beauford (James Trevena), one unexpected kiss brings him magically back to life and turns her carefully ordered world upside down. As Emily helps the chivalrous time-traveler navigate modern Chicago, pumpkin spice lattes, a Halloween Medieval Fayre, and an FBI investigation led by her ex-husband, she begins to rediscover the wonder and romance she thought she had left behind. But with a rare celestial conjunction approaching and Griffin’s fate hanging in the balance, Emily must decide whether the safest heart is one kept guarded or one brave enough to believe in a love written in the stars.

*Based on the book by author Bryn Donovan

Movie Reviews:

🍁 A Knight to Remember is a wonderful movie! (and Chris McNally has a cameo!). –Maria

🍁 It’s been a busy weekend so I haven’t watched A Knight to Remember yet but a friend of mine said she watched last night and she said they talk about astrology. I thought some of you would want to know that. Christie

🍁 A Knight to Remember - I enjoyed this whimsical funny movie too and with a fall theme in the background ~Anonymous

The Spirit of Halloween

Previous Title: A Halloween Carol

Premiere Date: October 10, 2026

Starring: Kevin McGarry and Meghan Ory

Storyline: Brilliant bridal designer Everly Stone (Ory) has no patience for Halloween, especially the beloved fire-station bash that once left her heartbroken in front of everyone she knew. But when her late mentor appears with a glamorous warning, Everly Stone is swept through one unforgettable night by three mischievous spirits who reveal the joy she lost, the people she’s pushing away, and the future she might miss if she keeps hiding behind work and fear. With a loyal assistant ready for more, a town waiting to welcome her back, and longtime friend Beau Madison (McGarry) still carrying a spark from their past, Everly Stone must decide whether Halloween is the night that broke her heart or the one that can finally help it heal.

Movie Reviews:

🍁 It’s not scary or spooky movie at all. The Spirit of Halloween is a fun, lighthearted romantic comedy rather than a scary horror movie.

Starring Meghan Ory & Kevin McGarry, the Hallmark Channel movie is a seasonal spin on A Christmas Carol. Ory plays Everly Stone, a bridal designer and Halloween-hating "Scrooge" who is visited by three friendly, whimsical spirits on Halloween night to help her heal from past heartbreak & reconnect with a longtime friend (McGarry). ~Anonymous

🍁 The Spirit of Halloween - Anonymous, I totally agree! This was a wonderful, lighthearted take on A Christmas Carol! The plot was interesting with a lot of humor, and Kevin and (especially) Meghan were really great in their roles. Very enjoyable and definitely recommended, even for those put off by scary movies! – Mark 25

🍁 This is a halloween version of a christmas carol. Not a fan of Halloween or Charles Dickens, but i watched it because Kevin was in it and i always love his characters. It was family friendly, but there was a scene when a couple gets caught having an affair. I’ll pass on seeing it again.~Abigail

(Note: The affair Abigail mentions regards a couple who are dating and the boyfriend is caught kissing another girl in public. Of course, they break up after that.)

🍁 The Spirit of Halloween - Now, as many of you know, I'm not usually a fan of Halloween movies and all that goes with them. However, since this movie follows the classic A Christmas Carol storyline, I was game to give it a watch! The banter is really cute, especially between Meghan Ory and the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present. I loved how Meghan told the first ghost they had the wrong holiday! She even mentions Christmas! That was such a fun moment. But then the ghost claimed Halloween was the spirit holiday, and that's where I must disagree! I'd much rather celebrate the Christmas Spirit – that (to me) is the best spirit!!!

There was also a wardrobe thing that bugged me. Meghan's character has an adorable black cat, but her robe was so dark it was hard to see the cat when it was sitting next to her or in her arms. If she had been wearing a lighter color, it would've been nicer and easier to see her cat.

What I did enjoy...
Meghan Ory & Kevin McGarry are so much fun together! I especially loved the flashback scene of the two of them in college. That was adorable! They did a great job making them look a few years younger, too. It was sweet that Kevin's character had a crush on her, and a little frustrating that she was completely oblivious - both back then and years later!

As for the Halloween elements, there are a few parties with people dressed in costumes, but I don't recall anything particularly scary. There are also children trick-or-treating near the end of the movie. One of the ghosts - I think it was the Ghost of Christmas Past - briefly spoke in a creepy whisper that might frighten younger kids. Overall, this isn't a particularly scary Halloween movie, but I'd still recommend a little caution for younger viewers, just to be on the safe side. ~Net

I hope you'll all find a movie to "fall" for from Hallmark's Fall into Love!

It looks like several movies are actually going to be fall-themed, which I know many of you love.

Plus, we'll have the return of Garage Sale Mysteries, and along with Lori Loughlin, there are two more stars from When Calls the Heart starring in the Fall movies - Chris McNally and Kevin McGarry.

If any of you don't recognize Julie Gonzalo's co-star, James Trevena, he starred in Lacey Chabert's rom-com, Lost in Paradise, and he'll also star in the supporting cast of the upcoming Christmas movie, A Grand Biltmore Christmas.

Which movie are you drawn to the most this Fall? Please share in comments below.

Happy watching,
