But through a series of frightening events, they learn that “monsters” aren’t always who they seem to be. It’s a Hoops & YoYo adventure that’s so funny it’s scary!

Have a "Super Weekend"...

It's the weekend... time to kick back for a while and relax with family and friends. I know many will be attending church services, enjoying time outdoors, and many will be having Super Bowl parties.

Whatever you do - I hope you have a Super Weekend!

If you plan to watch the game - I hope you enjoy it. Let me know who your favorite team is or pick in the comments below. I don't have a fave team, personally - but my pick for this match-up, is the Giants. I'm not big on football, by any means, but I do think some of the commercials are fun, while others are too racy, in my opinion... especially for those, who like to watch TV, as a family.

If you have seen a sampling of TV Commercials to come for the Super Bowl, then you've probably heard about the Matthew Broderick Commercial that is a tribute to his popular Ferris Bueller character. As a movie buff, I loved the film references and found it to be extremely fun and clever. Too bad they didn't get Ben Stein to portray the parking attendant.

If, perhaps, you would rather watch something besides football, then there's the annual adorable Puppy Bowl marathon on the Animal Planet. I just love watching them - they are soooo sweet. I just wish the kittens would get more than a half-time show, that only lasts a few minutes and there's streamers everywhere and crazy flashing lights - that must scare them. Don't get me wrong - I adore puppies, but why can't we also have a Cat Bowl?

Anyway, this year the Puppy Bowl has a new Ref, more puppies, a tweeting bird, and Pigs on the sideline acting as a piggie pep squad. Guess we'll have to see if they changed anything with their halftime show.

There will be other Special Shows and Marathons on TV this weekend - in addition to the Super Bowl on Sunday. On Saturday night, INSP will premiere the inspirational movie, The Lamp. On Sunday, there is a Dr Quinn Marathon on GMC, a Little House on the Prairie Tailgate Party on INSP (isn't that a clever title - oh, wait a minute... do wagons have tailgates?) and the Hallmark Channel will re-air the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie - A Smile as Big as the Moon. Plus, they will show their romantic comedy, A Crush on You as a special Family Movie Night with Hoops & Yoyo!

"Hoops and YoYo Ruin Christmas," A NEW ANIMATED HOLIDAY SPECIAL PRESENTED BY HALLMARK, WILL BE BROADCAST FRIDAY, NOV. 25 AT 8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT, ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK.

Hoops and YoYo Ruin Christmas, a new animated special presented by Hallmark, follows the unexpected adventure of the comical pink kitty and green bunny team, Hoops & Yoyo, after they become accidental stowaways on Santa's sleigh. This holiday program will be broadcast Friday, Nov. 25 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

When Hoops & Yoyo - and their little friend, Piddles - wait up on Christmas Eve to catch a glimpse of Santa, their curiosity lands them in his sleigh shortly after he goes down their chimney. Unable to exit the sleigh before takeoff without being spotted by Santa, they soon find themselves caught in the time-space continuum that allows him to travel the world in one night.

When turbulence jostles the trio from the sleigh, they fall through a wormhole and end up going back in time with a young Kris Kringle. After realizing they have disrupted Kris's journey to fulfilling his destiny, Hoops & Yoyo and piddles race to set things right so the world will have its Santa Claus.

Will Christmas ever be the same? Will Santa ever be the same? Only time - and perhaps a little time travel - will tell.

HOOPS & YOYO RUIN CHRISTMAS is a Hallmark presentation.

Oooohhhh, they are soooo Funny! If they play the same clips with the movie, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, as they did last year, then you will love it - it was absolutely hilarious!

And of all the movie selections with hoops and yoyo this year... I am most excited to see them do Eloise at Christmastime! It is such an adorable movie, I look forward to seeing what they add to it!

PLOT:

Hallmark’s popular online e-card characters Hoops and Yoyo will be starring in their own cable holiday Christmas Movie in the near future. Hallmark Channel is developing a new animated movie featuring the cute, Helium-voiced pink and green duo as part of its effort to beef up its original programming fare. In addition, Hoops & yoyo will continue hosting the channel's "Movie Night" during this year's upcoming Christmas Season. The characters will entertain viewers with their own fun “Do's and Don’ts" for the season as interstitials.

Bob Holt is the creator and designer behind Hoops and Yoyo (and provides Yoyo’s voice, the green bunny). His colleague Mike Adair assists him and provides the voice of Hoops, the pink kitty, while their editor Bev Carlson provides the voice of the little blue mouse, Piddles.
