🎄🏈 Did You *Catch* It? 🏈🎄 Hallmark Releases Poster, Promo, & Premiere Date for Christmas Movie, 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story'

( image via : castingbuffalo and syntheticcinema )

It's official! It's time to tackle Hallmark's Christmas movie news!

On the NFL's big game day yesterday, the Hallmark Channel released exciting news for their upcoming football-themed *Countdown to Christmas* movie, 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story,' which will star Holland Roden and Matthew Daddario!

Additionally, the cast also features more Hallmark favorites, including Andrew Walker and Patti Murin.

And football fans, be sure to look for cameos from Buffalo Bills players Damar Hamlin and Dion Dawkins.

Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, and Andrew Walker teamed up at the Buffalo Bills game yesterday (pictured above) to promote their upcoming movie. For a while, it looked like the Bills might fall short, but in true Hallmark fashion, the day ended with a comeback and a happy ending. The team pulled off a nail-biting 41–40 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Here's the official movie poster for 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story,' newly released by Hallmark Media:

So, when can we expect 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story' on our TV screens?

The all-new *Countdown to Christmas* movie kicks off on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 8pm/7c!

Plus, here's the 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story' official storyline via Hallmark:

"The Quinns and DeLucas have lived next door to each other for decades in the shadow of Highmark Stadium – the home of their beloved Buffalo Bills. With their longtime friendship rooted in being proud members of Bills Mafia, the two clans have enjoyed cherished traditions that revolve around cheering for their favorite team – especially at the holidays when they celebrate the last home game before Christmas. Pediatric doctor Morgan Quinn (Roden) and the Bills’ VP of Stadium Development Gabe DeLuca (Daddario) have always been close friends, but Gabe has always held a torch for her – a fact obvious to their families (Pollan, Aaron, Schirripa)…and everyone else who crosses their path.

When Morgan learns from her Uncle Tommy (Pantoliano) that someone anonymously helped her family get by after he was drafted more than 60 years ago – and that he continues to receive a Christmas gift each year to this day –she decides to find his benefactor and give her uncle a Christmas he’ll always remember. Aided by Bills Mafia friends of theirs, Morgan and Gabe work together to unwrap the gifter’s identity. Along the way, Gabe’s love for Morgan deepens and in turn, she begins to see him in a new light though neither is daring enough to admit their feelings.

Meanwhile, Morgan’s hopes of pulling off her surprise for Uncle Tommy get sacked. That is, until Gabe takes matters into his own hands and uses his connections with the Bills to pull off the surprise of a lifetime for Morgan and both their families that will make this a Christmas they’ll never forget."

This storyline actually brings to mind Holland Roden’s previous Hallmark Christmas movies, 'Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas' and 'Five Gold Rings.' In both of those films, her character is also on a heartfelt search and discovers love!

Stay tuned for MUCH MORE Christmas movie news!

Game on!

Hallmark is scoring big with their latest casting news for "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story," announced exclusively today via Variety.

This football-themed film is stacking its roster with star power, headlined by Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, and Joe Pantoliano, with supporting roles from Tracy Pollan, Caroline Aaron, and Steve Schirripa.

According to Variety, several Buffalo Bills players will make appearances in the film, including head coach Sean McDermott, running back Ray Davis, safety Damar Hamlin, offensive tackle Dion Dawkins, tight end Dawson Knox, long snapper Reid Ferguson, defensive tackle DeWayne Carter, and wide receiver Joshua Palmer.

The film will also feature a host of special cameos. Bills legend Jim Kelly, along with former players Steve Tasker, Thurman Thomas, Scott Norwood, and Andre Reed, are all set to appear, as well as team announcer Chris Brown. Luke Russert, son of the late journalist and devoted Bills fan Tim Russert, will also make a cameo.

Hallmark also released this official storyline:

"The Quinns and DeLucas have lived next door to each other for decades in the shadow of Highmark Stadium – the home of their beloved Buffalo Bills. We certainly have lots of excellent and unique viewing choices this weekend! Are any of you planning a Super Bowl Party Sunday night? I'm not big on football, but I might check out the score and commercials here and there. If you plan to watch, please share who your favorite team is or what your game pick is in the comments below.

Whatever you plan to do, I hope you all have a super weekend!

I am very excited to have Melissa Gilbert visit Hope Valley in the new episode of "When Calls the Heart" this Saturday night! The only thing that would have topped her appearance for me is if she could've actually portrayed Laura Ingalls Wilder. I've always loved "Little House on the Prairie"! (I looked it up, and the real-life Laura passed away in 1957, so it's possible she could've made a trip to Hope Valley in the 1920s era, perhaps to share her latest book. Anyway, that was my dream.) I'm still thrilled we will have her on the show, anyway.

And I'll be recording the Great American Rescue Bowl on Sunday afternoon! I must, must see those adorable puppies and kittens! I sure hope many find their furr-ever homes!

Please Note: I have not pre-screened the new films premiering this weekend. If you wish to provide a review, kindly share your thoughts in the comments section below. Thank you in advance to everyone who shares with us.

Blessings to you all!

Have a "Super" Weekend!

Since it's bitterly cold outside, for most of us, it's a Super Weekend to stay warm inside and watch the "Super Bowl" and maybe some "Tail"gating, too!

The FOX Network will carry the Big Game "Super Bowl XLVIII", Broncos vs. Seahawks, on Sunday February 2, 2014, starting at 6:30 PM.

Here are some details: Pregame Show will include the Country Brother-Sister Group: The Band Perry and American Idol Alum: Phillip Phillips. Renee Fleming will be performing the national anthem. (Please note: there will be other performances that will NOT be suitable for family viewing. Plus, some of the commercials may NOT be family friendly, as well.)

This will give you a great chance to flip the channel and check out some "Tail"gating on other stations, too! "Puppy Bowl X" kicks off Sunday February 2, 2014, starting at 3 PM (est) on the Animal Planet. This is the 10th year the network is bringing us hours of tails wagging, puppies chasing and playing on a small scaled down football field.

Also, you can "catch" some more "Tail"gating on the Hallmark Channel with the Inaugural "Kitten Bowl 2014". See it Sunday, February 2 from 12 PM to 12 AM (est). "Kitten Bowl is the greatest feline showdown in cable television history.  The competition will consist of two preliminary playoffs and a championship match." (details via: Hallmark)

I'm sure it will be a "Purr"-fect way to get into the spirit for the game!

Whatever you do...
I hope you all have a Super Weekend!!!
