✨ Meet the New TV Movies Premiering This Weekend & More Surprises!

Happy Weekend, Friends!

It may not be officially summer just yet, but wow, it sure has felt like it! The heat has definitely arrived, and I hope you're all finding ways to stay cool while still enjoying some sunshine. I've been soaking up every chance to be outside on our farm, enjoying these beautiful days. And I'm especially grateful that the humidity will finally be easing up for us this weekend!

One of my favorite ways to wind down after a warm summer day is with a good movie, and this weekend gives us not one, but two brand-new romantic comedies to enjoy: Meet Me in the Margins and Texas Two-Step!

Plus, Great American Family has added three movies to their schedule that have been available through streaming. They may be familiar to some of you, but since these movies are making their channel debut, this is great news for those of us who haven't had a chance to watch them all yet.

See details for all of these movies below...

The Hallmark Channel Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day - See Details:

If you're in the mood for an Irish movie on this St. Patrick’s Day, then you're in luck! (no four-leaf clover needed!)

The Hallmark Channel is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a movie marathon of Irish-themed films... see the schedule below.

Plus, you'll also find details below on who the real St. Patrick was, a man of deep abiding faith in the Lord who followed the calling of his life back to Ireland, where he was once imprisoned.

Today's Schedule - Monday, March 17th:
(Times below in Eastern Daylight Time)

* Love's Portrait - 2pm

Museum curator, Lily, finds a painting that's identical to her and searches for the artist in Ireland. There, William, a charming man, joins her on her quest and helps her rediscover love. Stars Aubrey Reynolds and Richard McWilliams.

* Forever in My Heart - 4pm

Jenna and Charlie found love in Ireland, but their dreams drove them apart. Five years later, they reunite, and Jenna has to decide where her heart belongs—back home or in the Emerald Isle. Stars Merritt Patterson and Jack Turner.

* As Luck Would Have It - 6pm

Lindsey travels to Ireland to acquire land that is perfect for a resort. She decides to enter the town's matchmaking festival to prove her investment and win over a handsome local. Starring JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Allen Leech.

* Love of the Irish - 8pm

Tired of her bad luck, Fiona takes her mom on a trip to Ireland to turn things around where she meets a charming single dad who helps her make her own luck. Stars Shenae Grimes-Beech, Stephen Hagan, Moira Kelly.

For those of you who have Irish roots, a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you!

While the world focuses on four-leaf clovers, leprechauns, and wearing green on this day, I think it is most important to remember who the real Saint Patrick was. Focus on the Family has an excellent article about Patrick's life, which was filled with many struggles and hardships as he followed the voice of God and proclaimed the gospel message with his ministry throughout Ireland. St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!

When Brooklyn gets the idea to have William (Carlo Marks), the owner of her favorite bakery, cater her scout troop's posh annual holiday event, she asks Angela to work with him on pitching the idea to the moms in charge. Despite sensing that her daughter might be trying to play cupid, she agrees to help and finds herself enjoying time with him, but is reluctant to open her heart and life to someone new. When Dakota returns, missing her, Angela must decide what is best for her daughter and best for her heart.

I hope you all enjoy many of the new Christmas movies and great classics airing this weekend! I'm looking forward to reading all of your reviews and sharing mine, as well.

The storyline in A Vintage Christmas has a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" lost letter feel, so I'm most definitely intrigued by this new premiere on Great American Family.

I'm also excited that Amy Groening, a wonderful comedic actress, is finally the lead in a Christmas movie! The fake boyfriend trope is still one of my all-time favorites.

Please Note: I have not seen the new movies listed above. If you would like to share a review, please do so in the comments below.

🎄✨ 2024 Christmas Movie Promos For Great American Family, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, And UPtv ✨ 🎄 SEE HERE:

The NEW CHRISTMAS MOVIES are coming in less than two weeks, not this weekend, but THE NEXT!!! Ahhhhh!!!!

To get us all ready and in the Christmas spirit, I thought I'd share some Christmas movie promos for Great American Family, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, and UPtv!

In a comment here on my blog, I was just chatting with Jim (who is a dear friend and follower here) about how hearing Great American Family's Christmas movie commercial, which features Bing Crosby singing, "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas," gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME I hear it. And while new holiday songs or jingles in the Christmas promos are fun, too, there's nothing quite like the nostalgia of classic Christmas songs like this one! Unfortunately, GAF didn't upload their promo to YouTube with this song, but the music box version of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" is still lovely. See below. Or, if you want to see the Bing Crosby version, I embedded the video at the end of this post!

So, if you have yet to see these Christmas movie promos below, enjoy! And if you have seen some or all... I hope you enjoy the re-watch as we look forward to the upcoming 2024 Christmas movie season!!!
