LOS ANGELES, CA — Hallmark Media announces All’s Fair in Love & Mahjong, a new original movie premiering Saturday, May 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel and streaming next day on Hallmark+. Celebrating the power of face-to-face connection and the life lessons learned through play, the movie stars Fiona Gubelmann (The Good Doctor, A Royal Montana Christmas), Paul Campbell (Three Wisest Men, Falling Together), Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe (Signed, Sealed, Delivered, The Wish Swap), Melissa Peterman (Happy’s Place, Haul Out the Halloween) and Tamera Mowry-Housley (Haunted Harmony Mysteries, Sister, Sister).

Ronni (Gubelmann) is a beloved school nurse and devoted mom, who hosts a longstanding mahjong game with her dear friends, Shelley (Lowe), Carly (Mowry-Housley), and Melissa (Peterman). When Ronni becomes an empty nester, her whole world tilts — her daughter leaves for college, her hours are cut, and her ex insists it’s time to sell the home she’s poured her heart into. But a chance moment at a school fundraiser reveals her unexpected gift for teaching mahjong — and sparks a connection with Ben (Campbell), a charming contractor whose family needs a little healing of its own. As Ronni brings community after community together through the game she loves, she discovers that sometimes the hand you are dealt changes everything. With her future in the balance, Ronni must learn to bet on herself… and maybe on love, too.

As mahjong experiences a cultural movement across the country, Hallmark partnered with Miss Mahjong to bring to life a beautifully designed Mahjong Tiles, Mat & Tile Storage Gift Set inspired by Hallmark artistry and archival treasures, including the longest-standing pansy card design. The Miss Heirloom set is designed to bring friends and families together around the table, creating meaningful moments, sparking conversation, and turning everyday play into a lasting tradition. The co-branded set can be seen in the movie and will be available for purchase in early May on Hallmark.com and MissMahjong.com.

All’s Fair in Love & Mahjong is a Muse Entertainment Production. Joel S. Rice and Aren Prupas are executive producers. Allen Lewis is supervising producer and Ronni Rice is consulting producer. Produced by Charles Cooper. Jessica Harmon directed from a script by Betsy Morris and Nina Weinman and story by Morris.

SHINING THE LIGHT
Speaking of time-travel... I pray our hearts will continuously travel back in time throughout this holiday season to the very first Christmas, as we treasure the true meaning of the season, our Savior, Jesus! May we cherish the Christ-child as his own mother did...

"All who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured these things and pondered them in her heart."
(Luke 2:18-19)

The Brothers are Back: All New "Three Wise Men" Movie Coming to the Hallmark Channel this Christmas

During tonight's airing of "Unwrapping Christmas: Mia’s Prince," Hallmark revealed that an all-new "Three Wise Men" movie starring Andrew Walker, Tyler Hynes, and Paul Campbell titled "Three Wisest Men" is coming this Christmas season to Countdown to Christmas. This is the third movie in the "Three Wise Men" series.

Andrew Walker recently shared on social media that he would be filming soon, so it's possible he was referring to this movie.

Hallmark shared this memorable scene of the Wise brothers doing their festive dance. I have a feeling it will somehow be included in the third movie, as well.

What are your thoughts on a third "Three Wise Men" movie? Please share in comments below.

Something fun...

For those of you on Instagram, be sure to follow (if you don't already) my movie friend, Brad Deiter, on his IG page: @positivelybrad.

Brad recently hosted trivia challenges and interviews for 90s con, which featured stars from Full House, 7th Heaven, Family Matters, Brotherly Love, and other television series, and now he has something special planned for the Christmas season!

Here's the scoop directly from Brad:

"Christmas came early this year!

I am so excited to announce that I will be helping to make your Christmas even more MERRY AND BRIGHT as I am joined by some of your (and my) favorite Christmas movie stars!

Join us here on Instagram live as we discuss their favorite holiday traditions, newest projects, play some trivia, and hear about their favorite charities!

❓Any guesses as to who might be joining me?❓

I will be announcing each guest over the new few weeks (and the dates of each live video). I will also open up the comment section for questions!"

Spoiler Alert!!! Brad gave me an exclusive spoiler that one of the interviews he will be doing is with Jen Lilley, so you'll definitely want to follow him on his IG page, @positivelybrad, to see that and see more surprises coming throughout the Christmas season!

Also, while you are on Instagram, be sure to say hello to me here: @itsawonderfulmovieblog. I just started IG at the end of April, so I'm still learning new things. If you have any special tips, please share!

🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁

I hope you all enjoy the new TV movies this weekend. My DVR is set for both movies, even though I've seen Love at the Ranch. I recall it being an enjoyable watch, so I'm looking forward to seeing it again on Great American Family. Please share your movie pick in comments below.

Falling Together is a movie that highlights Alzheimer's disease. World Alzheimer's Day is recognized every year on September 21st, which is this Saturday. Due to the movie's theme, for some, this movie may be uplifting, and for others, this movie may be difficult to watch. I know many of you who visit here have shared (in comments beneath this post) that you have seen someone in your family or a friend go through this. I have seen the same with someone in my family; it is extremely hard and challenging, but we had special, wonderful moments, too, and I would never exchange that time we shared for anything in this world.

Please Note: I haven't pre-screened the new movie, Falling Together. If you'd like to post a review on whether this film is family-friendly after it premieres, please share in comments.
