    1. Joyce, I'm so delighted you caught this news! We certainly never know when Hallmark's going to change up their schedule from one day to the next. In this instance, it's definitely a very Merry Mix-Up!!!

Enjoy "Double Holiday" and lots of good ones!!! I'm happy to see another airing of "A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love" and "Holiday for Heroes!"

      Merry Christmas in July!!!

    1. Sabrina, You guessed it! :) I'm also thrilled for those who only have the Hallmark Channel - because now they'll get to see several of the newest HMM Christmas movies! So happy for them!

Like you, I also love many of the old ones... so, I sure hope Hallmark Drama brings back Christmas, too! :)

  3. Net, Christian sites are asking fans of Hallmark to call 1-800-425-5627 to voice our belief in one man one woman marriage only. Do you think this will help? It appears Christians are finally standing up for what is right. I wrote them a letter sent by snail mail but received no response.

    1. kitkat, Thank you for sharing that number! I hope many Christians and anyone who supports traditional marriages & relationships will call and express their beliefs and feelings to Hallmark on what's happening. I sure hope it helps! :)

I also wanted to give you a heads up... a friend of mine shared with me that there will be a same sex couple in an upcoming Summer Nights movie. There was a quick clip shown in the new Summer Nights commercial with 2 women getting married. It appears this will take place in the movie, "Wedding Every Weekend." One I'll be skipping now. Please share with others.

      WARNING: Don't watch that movie!

      Just skip it

    3. So glad to see I'm not only one to share in our feelings.its why we watch hallmark so we don't have to be exposed to things we don't believe.thank you all and to net for showing post

    4. Net, an update on above message. I called the number given and was eventually sent to carehallmark.com to leave a message. I was on hold for a while because they said they were busy. I clicked on Hallmark Programming to leave a message. Not sure if lots of people are calling or if it is something else.

    5. Oh my goodness, Net! That is extremely disturbing to hear! I cannot believe it. I will definitely try calling that number. Thank you again for the warning. This page is a lifesaver!:)

    6. I have decided. I won't be watching Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I may buy movies that Candace is in. I will always follow this blog though!

    7. Misty, I understand your heart completely. You have been a faithful follower here for many, many years and I always look forward to your thoughts and sweet comments.

Please know, I'm feeling much the same way. Instead of watching everything on Hallmark, I am being even more selective. I'm not sure in the future if there will be anything left to watch, but for now, I'm still here - whenever you want to share or talk.

God bless you, my dear friend! Thank you for your amazing support! :)

  4. Thanks Net! I will share! My advice would be to buy all the DVD's you can get of your favorites. Our choices appear to be getting less and less. With Hallmark being inclusive, they are excluding Christians.

    1. That is excellent advice, kitkat! We may have to cherish lots of our old movies - if there is nothing new that is good to watch any more.

  6. So fantastic. Not everyone has both channels, so this give those who don't a chance to see those movies.

    1. Exactly! I thought they might wait for the Christmas season to do this, so this is quite a pleasant *Christmas in July* surprise!

  7. Thank you KitKat I will contact that number myself. And Net, I did see the commercial with the brief 2 woman wedding scene, I am pretty sure it is wedding every weekend but I could be wrong. Had high hopes for that movie too.

It seems we are losing our Family Friendly channel to the the demands of others. I am never a fan of anyone caving to demands of 1 group or another, and Hallmark definitely does that, have seen it many times with many situations, but this caving to demands is just not what Hallmark has been about. I knw they got a new president, and while I hope I am wrong, but I have a feeling in a years time I will turn on Hallmark and think I accidently put Lifetime on.

    1. Sabrina,

You're statement is completely spot on!

That is the perfect way to put it! Hallmark will no longer be that unique channel any more - they will be from now on a carbon copy of Lifetime. Why choose one over the other - when they are exactly the same? This is very sad.

  8. Net I was quite surprised to see that you had picked Christmas Scavenger Hunt as a "pick". I personally am appalled that Hallmark would include Tom Arnold in any role due to his personal behavior. He is one of the most foul mouthed people in Hollywood. I would not watch this show and I certainly would not purchase it.

    1. I understand how you feel. I don’t follow Tom Arnold on social media, so I’m not aware of all of his tweets, etc… but I have heard a sampling of them on the news and you’re right, they are often, quite awful. I actually feel very sorry for him. It seems he does those sorts of tweets for attention.

He also portrays Candace Cameron Bure’s father in her first Christmas movie, “Moonlight and Mistletoe” and of course, many of us love her, so yeah, it is tough to watch and not think of the other. Fortunately, his role in “Christmas Scavenger Hunt” is rather small.

I was also watching a somewhat new production on Pureflix the other day and who was in it? Tom Arnold. I was rather shocked. I’m praying since he’s surrounded by good Christian people – he will have a change of heart.

Besides Tom, I’ve seen social media postings from other actors and actresses that I don’t agree with politically. I try to watch a movie and NOT see the actor/actress, just the character they are portraying, but it does make it harder to separate once we know more about them.

  9. Imagine my surprise, after leaving a message with Hallmark about their new changes, I had no HMM last night. Not sure why it disappeared along with the Hallmark channel from my Xfininty channels, but it did. I also signed a petition yesterday regarding the unacceptable changes. Could just be a coincidence! I spent this morning on the phone with an Xfinity agent trying to find the problem. So far, still gone. The agent said it was not Comcast who did this; that all the Hallmark channels are still in our plan. Comcast is working on finding answers for me. Thankful for DVD's.

  10. I contacted carehallmark.com and encourage others to do so too. I just put into words the disappointment I was feeling about their decision to include same-sex couples in their movies and the impact that I'm sure it will ultimately have. I heard back from carehallmark.com and my message has been forwarded to leadership. I was pleasantly surprised that they actually read it and sent it on. Even the smallest stone makes a ripple in the water.
