πŸŽ„Happy 9 Months 'til Christmas!πŸŽ„ (Can You Guess From This Picture Which Jen Lilley Christmas Movie I Chose to *Mark the 25th*?)

Happy March 25th, Everyone! It's 9 Months 'til Christmas! (And even closer to the Christmas movie season!)

It’s that special time again… time to “Mark the 25th” with a cozy Christmas movie! There’s just something so fun about pausing on the 25th of each month to enjoy a meaningful holiday film.

If you're planning to join in, I'd love to know which movie you are choosing. It can be a new movie, a classic movie, something you love, or something you've never seen - completely new to you! Whatever strikes your fancy.

My Christmas movie pick is B&B Merry, starring Jen Lilley and Jesse Hutch!

It's such a sweet movie, plus I also thought this was a fitting choice for right now because Jen Lilley’s brand-new romantic comedy, A Royal Setting, is premiering this weekend on the Hallmark Channel... so exciting!

And Jesse Hutch stars in the Crossroad Springs Season 1 Easter-themed Finale this Sunday night on Great American Family. (By the way, you can catch up with the last three new episodes of Crossroad Springs - encoring on Great American Family tonight - Wednesday, March 25th.)

Another Christmas movie I'm also choosing to *Mark the 25th* (a little later!)... is one of the Destined at Christmas movies, since Shae Robins and Casey Elliott are starring in their new Easter movie, Blessings in Disguise, this weekend! Great American Family is airing the second Destined movie Friday night - so I’m looking forward to catching it then!

Please share which Christmas movie you plan to watch today - or sometime this week in comments below.

Happy Christmas in July Weekend, Movie Friends!πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„

It's the last weekend for holiday movies on Great American Family and the Hallmark Channel! I don’t know about you, but I’m really going to miss the festive joy they’ve brought to these warm summer days.

Although I have good news... Christmas movies will continue to air on Friday nights, and GAF's Christmas movies are still featured in their schedule 24/7 on Friday, August 1st. So, maybe, they are simply finishing out the week??? Stay tuned!🌟🎬

Friday, July 25th, marks around THREE months 'til the Christmas movie season begins (near the end of October) and just FIVE months exactly 'til December 25th - Christmas Day! Do you plan to watch any special Christmas movie on Friday or over the weekend in honor of our countdown? If so, I’d love to hear your picks! Please share in the comments below! (You’ll find the weekend Christmas schedule further down.)

As for me, I’m hoping to catch some of these beloved classics airing over the weekend: Snow Bride, Christmas Next Door, Santa Tell Me, A Christmas Blessing, A Cinderella Christmas Ball, Following Yonder Star, A Christmas Detour, and more! There are so many good movies airing - it was hard to choose just one!

Since this is the last final weekend hurrah for Christmas in July, I want to try to soak up as many festive movies as I possibly can, even if I know it's not realistically possible to squeeze them all in! A girl can dream! ✨

Plus, I'm trying to leave some time around my weekend plans to catch the exciting new premieres: Unwrapping Christmas: Olivia’s Reunion and Before Your Father Finds Us. (How will I ever fit it all in? Let’s just say... my DVR is already set! πŸ˜‰)

Are you ready to unwrap this weekend's new Christmas movie and holiday classics, along with a new suspenseful premiere?

Let’s make it a merry send-off! See details below...

Storyline: Olivia finds herself trapped in a cabin with her ex-boyfriend Ben. The time together allows them to explore the idea of a second chance at romance.

Premieres Saturday, July 26, 2025
at 8pm/7c. on the Hallmark Channel

Movie Reviews:

πŸŽ„ Unwrapping Christmas: Olivia's Reunion is clean. All in all, a cute ensamble series on Hallmark +. -Maria

πŸŽ„ Unwrapping Christmas: Olivia’s Reunion - Watching this movie was such a delight! This final film in the series does a wonderful job of bringing the journeys of Olivia and her three best friends full circle. Cindy Busby portrays the expressive and vibrant Olivia and truly shines in this role.

And then there’s Jake Epstein, who plays the perfect counter to Cindy’s character. He always brings such a fun and engaging energy to his roles, making every scene enjoyable to watch. Their chemistry together is fantastic; it was such a joy to see these two exes stuck together during a snowstorm.

Overall, this movie is lighthearted and family-friendly, making it an excellent pick for viewing any time of the year. Olivia's Christmas love story wraps up the entire series perfectly! ~Net

Wishing you all a joyful and cozy weekend ahead!✨

I'd love to hear what Christmas movies you're planning to watch- so be sure to drop your picks in the comments below. Are you revisiting a beloved classic, or tuning in for one of this weekend’s exciting premieres? Please share with us!

Note: I haven't seen the Lifetime movie, Before Your Father Finds Us. Due to the suspenseful nature of the film, I expect the movie to have violence, adult dialogue, and content not suitable for young viewers. (I wanted to be sure to mention this since I know some young "When Calls the Heart" fans may want to watch, since Jaeda Lily Miller (Allie) is in this. Viewer discretion is advised.)

In case you missed it, you can see Maria's and my review for Unwrapping Christmas: Olivia's Reunion above.

Merry *Christmas in July* movie-watching!πŸŽ„

Blessings on your weekend,

πŸŽ„Still Searching for Christmas?πŸŽ„

I know. I know. Some people are done with the Christmas movies as soon as the clock strikes midnight, and December 25th is over, but NOT ME!!! I'm one of those people who continues to search for nearly any Christmas movie I can find this week, and frankly, all-year round!

And in case you're wondering, it does appear that the Hallmark Channel will be keeping the special Friday night airings of Christmas movies, beginning on Friday, January 5th, with Flipping for Christmas, starring Ashley Newbrough and Marcus Rosner, who are both also starring in Hallmark's first movie for 2024, on January 6th, Love on the Right Course.

Plus, even more good news... Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will be airing TWO Christmas movies on Thursday nights in January 2024 at 7pm and 9pm EST. I hope this is something they will continue to do throughout the year! (Actually, Thursday, January 4th, will have three Christmas movies with Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery at 5pm, Ms. Christmas Comes to Town at 7pm, and World Record Christmas at 9pm, but the other Thursdays, thus far, will only have two.)

As for this week... between Christmas and New Year's Day, Christmas movies are thankfully continuing to air 24/7 on Great American Family, the Hallmark Channel, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and I'm soaking them up like a sponge! Both Freeform and PixL have also sprinkled in a few more Christmas movies. Plus, I love that Great American Family is giving us an end-of-year New Year's Eve Movie Countdown of their best Christmas movies from the past three years! I've been searching through the TV guide and recording all of my new and past Christmas favorites. I kind of feel like a squirrel, hunting and hiding acorns and storing them up for the rest of winter. (haha!)

Due to a family member getting sick on Christmas Eve, we were unable to have our BIG Christmas celebration, so Christmas will be continued and extended for us on another day. (I know some of you are also in the same boat, and I pray your loved ones are feeling better.) It's hard when we remember all of the past Christmases and traditions and long to be together, but we are still going to have our Christmas gathering soon, Good Lord willing!!!

Today, I'm also looking at some of the Christmas deals online at Walmart and Amazon... gift wrap, decor, storage, and supplies. Typically, there are some fantastic sales to find this week. I must admit, I'm a goner when it comes to cute Christmas gift wrap, ornaments, etc... and getting a good deal is always great, too!

The Nativity Jumbo Rolled Gift Wrap by Susan Winget at Walmart has caught my eye, plus this DaySpring - A Cozy Christmas - 4 Reversible Christmas Wrapping Paper Roll Set and Christmas Burlap Wired Ribbon. It's fun to shop for and dream about Christmas next year.

I pray you all are well and had a nice Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Everyone!
God bless you all, Net

Please be sure to share in the comments below which Christmas movie (or movies) you are looking forward to seeing during UPtv's Christmas movie event.

I think Mistletoe Connection looks fun... I love seeing Jessica Sipos from Chesapeake Shores and Markian Tarasiuk from Christmas Jars. Plus, Dial S for Santa looks intriguing, since it has a mystery to the story and stars Julian Haig from Love in Bloom.

Also, be sure to note that Country Hearts Christmas is the sequel to the movie, Country Hearts, which will air (as stated above) on UPtv in October!
