When will "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back" Premiere on Hallmark Mystery?

UPDATE: The post below was written on March 11th. To see an update on when "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back" will premiere on TV, please *CLICK HERE*!

---------------------------------

If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked this question lately, I'd be rich!

Sooo... When will "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back" premiere on Hallmark Mystery?

As I write this post on Tuesday, March 11th, Hallmark hasn't shared any updates yet, except the initial promise was that we could look forward to the movie's premiere sometime in 2025. However, I have a theory on this, so you'll want to keep reading!

I've also included a longer storyline description of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back" below.

My first hunch...

The previous film, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters, starring Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, Geoff Gustafson, and Rhiannon Fish, premiered on July 12, 2024, so perhaps the network is trying to space the premieres out at the same timing... or somewhat closer.

In A Tale of Three Letters our POstables attempt to deliver three crucial letters all the while dealing with their own personal issues. Oliver and Shane are newly married, and Rita and Norman hope to adopt.

It has recently been announced that Good TV in Australia is premiering "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back" on April 5th. Unfortunately, U.S. viewers are not able to watch this channel, but I believe it won't be long for us. Here's why...

Have you ever noticed that the Hallmark Channel often airs Christmas movies on Friday nights that include an actor/actress for whatever new movie is premiering next?

Well, on Friday, April 25th, the Hallmark Channel is airing not one, but TWO Christmas movies that star Eric Mabius - Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas and Welcome to Christmas. And just days before that, the Hallmark Channel is playing THREE Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies: To The Altar, The Vows We Have Made, and A Tale of Three Letters. It's a bit more unusual for the Hallmark CHANNEL to play so many Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies.

Based on those airings, my hunch is that the new premiere might air on May 1st or early May. And since Shane was expecting at the end of the last movie and Rita and Norman were adopting, Mother's Day would be a very special time for this premiere as both couples have become parents for the first time.

UPDATE - March 13, 2025: Unfortunately, the Hallmark Channel has now removed ALL April airings of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" from its schedule. Stay tuned for further developments.

The image above was shared by Good TV. I'm not sure if this will be the final poster or key art for Hallmark.

-------------------

This is a fuller detailed storyline for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back" via Good TV:

'To The Moon and Back' follows the POstables - Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman - tasked with delivering a lost letter they find at a Denver Cafe, formerly a nightclub called Starmakers. The letter, filled with personal reflections and cryptic phrases like “Tell It to The Moon", leads them to Nate Holloway, a famous singer-songwriter. He reveals his big hit was written by his former partner, Tracy Reo, a talented but reclusive songwriter who disappeared years ago. The POstables track Tracy’s whereabouts, discovering she has been living under an assumed name to hide from a troubled past.

Meanwhile, Oliver grapples with revelations from old letters, as he discovers new information about his birthfather, stirring doubts about his own identity. Faced with a difficult decision, Oliver is forced to confront his beliefs about family, loyalty, and moral integrity.

-------------------

Hopefully, we will hear official news for the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon and Back" premiere soon! Stay tuned, POstables!

Blessings to you all,

🎄Happy 9 Months 'til Christmas!🎄 *Mark-the-25th* with Us!

Happy 9 Months 'til Christmas!

Today, on March 25th, we *Mark the 25th* day of the month as we countdown to Christmas!

If any of you plan to watch a Christmas movie today to celebrate this day, please be sure to share your pick in comments below.

Hallmark Family had previously scheduled a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" marathon for the next three days, beginning today, but that has
unfortunately been canceled. Due to this and the recent exciting announcement of two new "SSD" movies, I have chosen "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas" for my *Mark the 25th* movie pick.

It is so endearing to see all sorts of small miracles occur in "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas," which brings our POstables together for one very special Christmas celebration. I also love how the nativity story is incorporated into this movie, which, of course, is even more meaningful during this Holy Week leading up to Easter!

As scripture tells us, "She (the virgin, Mary) will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." ~Matthew 1:21

We rejoice in the birth of Jesus, knowing the promise from our Savior in John 10:10, "I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly."

Please be sure to share your Christmas movie choice in the comments below.

By the way, Hallmark Family is playing "Pictures of Hollis Woods" tonight at 9pm/8c. This movie is not entirely Christmassy, but the heartwarming end of this film takes place at Christmastime, and it always touches my heart.

I pray you all have a blessed Holy Week!
Happy Easter, everyone!

Dear Friends, Here we come to another weekend. Like many of you I've been watching the latest news on TV as coronavirus numbers go up and down. I keep praying cases will decrease so life will able to return to some normalcy. I wear my face mask when I'm in a public place - to protect myself, my family and those around me, but I sure miss smiling at people and seeing their expression back. I hope when things are normal again - we won't lose that friendliness.

Again, I want to thank all of you for your prayers for those in my family who have the virus. I hear they are getting better each day, which is, of course, a great blessing! My heart and prayers go out to those who lost loved ones through all of this. I cannot imagine.

I also want to share that I am fully aware of the latest news coming out with Hallmark and their desire to have more inclusivity with their movies. I know many of you here share my concern on their willingness to produce movies that include same sex couples. This is definitely not something I support according to my Christian faith and beliefs. (I spoke more in depth about this - here.) I've been talking this over with my family, pouring out my heart, and for now, I'm taking it one day at a time here at *It's a Wonderful Movie.* I'm disheartened over their decision, but I want to be here for all of my dear IAWM friends. I will continue to stand on God's word and share which movies are family friendly and which movies include content of concern so you and your family can decide what is best for you. If I personally see any objectionable content I will be changing the channel, and I hope many of you will join me.

As I've shared in the past, each of us has to make the decision for ourselves – on how we’ll respond and what we will watch. It has always been my goal to only share family-friendly programming here at It's a Wonderful Movie, and I will do my best to be even more careful and cautious with the programming I share here in the future. However, if I haven’t pre-screened a movie, it’s sometimes difficult to know. That’s why I’m also truly grateful for those of you – who take the time to share your reviews. Your support and kindness at this time has been such an encouragement to me.

Thank you for being understanding. I hope you all have a nice weekend!

God’s Blessings to you all… Net

"MARK"ing THE 25th!

In addition to this Sunday being Palm Sunday (the day that we remember and celebrate the day Jesus entered into Jerusalem as Savior and King!), it's also the 25th Day of the month... it's been 3 months since Christmas... and now, it's only 9 months until Christmas Day!

To commemorate this special time, as I've shared before, I watch a Christmas movie on the 25th day of each month. I'm delighted that many of you have joined along... including our friend Mark, who encourages us here, and makes a point to visit each month on the 25th to share which Christmas movie he watches! That's why I have named this feature after him... "Mark"ing the 25th!

Basically, each month, on or before the 25th, I will share which Christmas movie I have chosen to watch that day, and please do the same - in comments below!

For this Palm Sunday, my family and I have chosen to watch... "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas." Since the premiere movie on UP, "Risen," tells the Resurrection story, we thought it would also be nice to watch "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas," because it shares the precious story of Jesus' birth.

I hope you all have a Wonderful Weekend and Palm Sunday! If you plan to watch a Christmas movie on the 25th, please share in comments below.

Blessings to You All, Net

THANK YOU HALLMARK - for CHRISTMAS Movies in JULY, a Treasured Keepsake!!!

It has become an annual July tradition for the HALLMARK CHANNEL and HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES to bring us a little Christmas in July! In just a couple weeks (17 days, actually... July 7-23...but whose counting, right? *wink*) Hallmark jam-packs many of our Christmas movie favorites from the past year and previous seasons... festive, delightful, family-friendly holiday movies that are always welcome in our homes!

Plus, Hallmark gifts us typically with one, and now TWO this year - New Christmas Movie Premieres in July! Wow, you never cease to amaze me! I am continuously surprised by your ability to outdo yourself! Thank You, truly, for these wonderful weeks of *Christmas in July* Movies!

It's clear, Hallmark executives and leadership know what the viewers like and most assuredly they know how to help us all "beat the heat" during these hot summer days! Simply turning up the AC, watching scenes and scenes of snowball fights and sleigh rides effortlessly drifts ones mind to white Christmases and chilly winter nights!

In fact, one of my followers here- Travis, emailed to let me know - his family cranked up the AC enough to turn on the fireplace, then, they played Christmas board games (including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Operation!), and sipped hot chocolate (with marshmallows, no less) while watching Hallmark Christmas movies! I LOVE it!

By the way, I found the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Operation game and more Christmas board games - at Amazon, including a Christmas Monopoly Limited Edition board game and Christmas Charades - the "Perfect Party" Game!

Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Operation
Christmas Monopoly Limited Edition

Also, dear movie friends, Linda and Jim, who are faithful visitors here - shared that they both decorated their homes, just a little, to get into the spirit! Linda put up a wreath (which sounds lovely!) and Jim turned on Christmas lights (nothing compares to that warm glow!)! If you decorated, too, during Christmas in July, please share in comments below!

Bethlehem Lighting Pre-Lit Christmas Wreath /
Holiday Wonderland 100-Count Clear Christmas Light Set

I just love how everyone got into the spirit this year during Christmas in July! I always have a small Countdown to Christmas clock on my desk, which is a constant reminder that Christmas is one day closer than it was yesterday! Plus, this year - I got out some of my favorite decorative Christmas pillows - which were comfy on the couch while watching Hallmark Christmas movies!!! (these pillows below are very similar!)

Kneeling Santa Pillow / Set of 4 Decorative Christmas Pillowcase Covers

By my count, there were 59 Hallmark Christmas Movies that aired in July during Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Gold Crown Christmas and the Hallmark Channel's Christmas Keepsake Week event! In turn, reverse that number around... and there were approximately 95 Hallmark Christmas movies that didn't air during Hallmark's Christmas in July celebration at all! And, I know many of you, like myself, certainly missed them! (More Below...)

For all of you who are familiar with the animated cartoon - "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer..." if you recall there were many sweet toys that were left behind on the island of misfit toys and Santa found them and delivered them all - just in time for Christmas! These movies, just like those toys, weren't at all misfits - they were all quite fit and just needed to be loved & enjoyed! Be sure to take a look at the listings below of the movies that played during Christmas in July and the movies that didn't and please share in comments (remind Santa!) which movies you missed during July, but hope to see in October, November, or December!!! Hopefully, Santa will turn that sleigh around, pick these movies up again, and play them at Christmastime!!! (Ha! Ha! or rather, Ho! Ho! Ho!)

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - Ornaments

Movies I personally loved & Movies I missed during Christmas in July:

I'll start in by saying again how much I thoroughly enjoyed Christmas in July on the both Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and the Hallmark Channel! Thank you, Hallmark! I am truly so grateful you continue to air in July these sweet Christmas movies and fill our homes with the Christmassy spirit in the midst of summer!

I LOVED...

Like all of you Christmas movie viewers, I was happy to see many of my favorites, including these ten: "The Christmas Secret," "Hearts of Christmas," "Love Always, Santa," "A Christmas to Remember," "Christmas Cookies," "The Christmas Card," "My Christmas Love," "Debbie Macomber's Dashing Through the Snow," "Christmas List," "When Calls the Heart Christmas" and oh, my goodness... so many more!!!

With so many movies in the Hallmark Christmas library, unfortunately not all of the movies we love could be played.

The ones I missed the most were... (I picked a baker's dozen!)

"Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas" - Such a beautiful, amazing story of the true meaning of Christmas - wrapped in a non-delivered letter mystery! One of Hallmark's overall best Christmas movies ever, in my opinion!

"The Nine Lives of Christmas" - Originally this fan-favorite feline movie was scheduled to play during Christmas in July, but was replaced by an airing of "When Calls the Heart Christmas." I love WCTH, but I also very much missed seeing this adorable movie, which has two very sweet cats and the most precious love story!

"Broadcasting Christmas" - Surprisingly, this is the ONLY New Christmas Movie from 2016 that was NOT played during Christmas in July! Starring Dean Cain (Mr. Christmas, himself!) and Melissa Joan Hart, this movie, all about reporters vying for the same position in a Christmas contest, is cleverly unique and always entertaining!

"A Boyfriend for Christmas" - One of Hallmark's first - best Christmas Movie romantic comedies (from 2004)! Even all the guys in my family still like this one! When Holly brings Douglass Firwood home to meet her parents for Christmas - that's when the real fun begins! After all these years, I still love it!

"A Season for Miracles" - This Hallmark Hall of Fame movie from 1999 will always be a sentimental favorite! I love everything about it... the dear aunt, who wants so much to care for her precious, yet scared, niece and nephew, the sweet sisters who conveniently live next door and are always trying be supportive and neighborly, the helpful handsome police officer who serendipitously is always there when he's needed the most, and of course, the Angel, portrayed by the wonderful actress Patty Duke!

"The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" - Yes, the one with The Fonz, Henry Winkler! This is such an amusing, charming movie - the very moment Morgan shows up with Uncle Ralph unexpectedly for Christmas!

"Moonlight and Mistletoe" - Candace Cameron Bure's first Hallmark Christmas movie! It's so sweet when Holly comes home to take care of her father after his sleigh ride injury, then finds herself helping to save Santaville from financial ruin, and all the while, discovering love - with some mishaps along the way! Also stars Barbara Niven of "Chesapeake Shores!"

"Battle of the Bulbs" - This is not your typical romantic Hallmark movie, but it is still a lot of fun! There's a fierce competition between neighbors for the best Christmas light display and it's a blast to see them do their best to out do one another! The movie stars one of Christmas Movie's biggest stars, Daniel Stern - Marv, one of the infamous robbers from Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York!

"Holiday Engagement" - If you want to watch a Christmas movie that will make you literally laugh out loud... then, this is it! When Hillary brings home David, an actor, to pretend to be Jason, her ex-boyfriend, the real fun begins! Just thinking about various scenes makes me giggle... plus, there is a beautiful scene where Hillary and David sing "Angels We Have Heard on High" together at the piano - just before the real Jason unexpectedly arrives!

"A Princess for Christmas" - Absolutely enchanting! I am always swept away by this beautiful royal story... it's like a fairytale dream come true with the castle, prince, and a happily ever after!

"Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" - I just fell in love with this movie! From the quirky, perky background music to the vintage wearing Emily and all her woes - including a marine biologist boyfriend who is completely clueless, and Henry, the new guy at work - who she fears may ruin the parade and everything she plans tediously each year! This is truly a delightfully witty and remarkably romantic - Hallmark treasure!

"Snow Bride" - One misconception snowballs into another... as an old flame resurfaces, sibling rivalry rises, and love that is at first fake becomes reality! And, it's all such fun to watch unravel and resolve itself in the end!

"Window Wonderland" - This is a fascinating, engrossing look into the lives of two very different people, so it seems, who create window displays and are competing for the same position at work. Looks may be deceiving and not quite exactly what anyone initially perceives. Filled with challenges, misconceptions, and quick witted banter - it's a beautiful window into their world where true love is, at last, discovered! Even stars two of Hallmark's most popular leading men - Paul Campbell and Cameron Mathison!
