✨Happy 3 Months 'til Christmas!!!✨ (Check Out My Christmas Movie Pick To Mark This Day & Share Yours!)

✨ Happy September 25th, Christmas Movie Watchers! ✨

Can you believe it? We’re now officially 3 months away from Christmas Day! 🎄❤️

This is the very last time we’ll be celebrating the 25th before the Christmas movie season officially begins, and the excitement is definitely building!

Great American Family will kick things off on October 10th (just a little over two weeks away!), followed closely by Hallmark Channel on October 17th. From then on, both channels will fill our hearts with holiday cheer 24/7, mixing timeless Christmas classics with a sprinkling of new premieres all the way through December.

UPtv's Christmas season begins on November 2nd, with old holiday classics and eight new Christmas movie premieres.

And Hallmark Mystery will also join in by playing classic Christmas movies 24/7 throughout the holiday season.

If you’d like to join in the fun and celebrate this special *Countdown to Christmas* with us today, I’d love to hear which Christmas movie you’ll be watching to mark the 25th in comments below.

I’ve chosen to watch "Picture a Perfect Christmas," in honor of the recent passing of Actress Paula Shaw, who so beautifully portrayed the warm and loving grandmother. Her role was such a gift, and it feels like the perfect way to remember her.✨💖

This Christmas movie is extra charming, cozy, and delightful, and the title, Picture a Perfect Christmas, inspires me to imagine how I hope to picture and cherish this upcoming Christmas season.

If you can't squeeze a Christmas movie into your schedule today on the 25th, there's also an excellent line-up of Christmas movies airing on TV Friday night...

Need an Early Gift? 🎁 The First Great American Christmas Movie Premiere is…

While the full schedule for Great American Christmas on Great American Family is yet to be released (coming very soon!), I have learned the first Christmas movie premiere will be "A Wisconsin Christmas Pie," starring Katie LeClerc and Ryan Carnes!

This deliciously sounding movie will premiere Saturday, October 11th, at 8pm/7c.

Storyline via Great American Family:

"In A Wisconsin Christmas Pie, pastry chef Emma Parker (Leclerc) returns from Chicago to her family’s cherry orchard in Door County, Wisconsin for Christmas, she learns the farm is on the brink of being sold to developers. Persuaded to enter the town’s holiday pie bake-off, Emma reconnects with her high school sweetheart, Mitch (Carnes) and together they discover the recipe for saving the orchard – and their hearts – might just be love."

According to the Green Bay Press Gazzette, "The movie was filmed entirely in Door County (Wisconsin) in early spring. Among the iconic Door County landmarks that show up in the trailer released in August are Hillside Waterfront Hotel in Ephraim, The White Gull Inn, Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market and Eagle Tower at Peninsula State Park, all in Fish Creek."

So... here's a taste of what's coming to Great American Family this Christmas!

Stay tuned for the full announcement!

Wishing you all a great day

Exciting News! Lacey Chabert Announces New Hallmark Rom-Com with...

Hallmark has just posted to their socials the delightful news that Lacey Chabert (An Unexpected Valentine) and Ian Harding (The Magic of Lemon Drops) have just finished filming a new rom-com in Fiji, which will be coming to the Hallmark Channel in early 2026!

Presumably, this movie will premiere as part of the network's *Winter Escape* in January or during *Loveuary* in February! (The first theme seems to make the most sense though, since it is a destination movie, but we'll see.)

Doesn't Lacey look vibrant and fantastic here? I'm loving her skirt and top! Based on her upbeat personality in the video below, and their natural teasing, it seems like these two had a fun time filming this new romantic comedy.

Great American Family Actress Candace Cameron Bure Announced as Spokesperson for "America Reads the Bible"

( image via : Great American Media )

An incredible event is coming to the Museum of the Bible, and I’m especially thrilled that Candace Cameron Bure, who has often used her platform to uplift and share religious values, will be participating. Her steadfast faith continues to be such an inspiration!

The "America Reads the Bible" event is scheduled from April 18–25, 2026. You can attend this event live in Washington, D.C. (*see ticket information here*) or you'll be able to stream it through various sources, such as Great American PureFlix.

The scripture readings will take place from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily as voices from across the nation unite to share God’s Word.

I personally can't wait to see and listen to this spectacular celebration of faith... through the reading of the Bible.

Named Among Spokespersons
of Historic Bible-Reading Event

'America Reads the Bible' will celebrate our nation's 250th birthday at the Museum of the Bible

WASHINGTON, Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- National leaders, ministries, and everyday Americans will lend their voices to a historic, weeklong Bible-reading event at the Museum of the Bible, to commemorate America's 250th birthday in 2026.

Actress, producer, New York Times bestselling author, and Great American Media Chief Creative Officer Candace Cameron Bure has been named one of the national spokespersons for America Reads the Bible (ARTB), a landmark event taking place in the nation's capital from April 18-25, 2026. The entire Great American Media team is engaged in advancing the mission and message of this historic initiative that will feature voices from across the country reading Scripture, and uniting Americans around faith and the enduring power of the Bible.

"Candace has been a trusted voice for faith and family values for decades, and we're honored to have her serve as a top spokesperson for America Reads the Bible," said Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Great American Media. "Recent tragedy has reminded us how important it is to come together around faith and prayer. This historic event will allow us to share God's Word in a way that will uplift and strengthen our country. We are honored to be part of such a meaningful celebration."

Cameron Bure stars in and produces original, faith-forward entertainment, including Great American Christmas films. Her Christian faith and commitment to wholesome storytelling have made her a leading voice in family entertainment.

"Cameron Bure's deep commitment to faith and family makes her a powerful advocate for this historic initiative," said Bunni Pounds, founder of Christians Engaged, the organization spearheading ARTB. The event will be produced by Great American Media and streamed live on Great American Pure Flix.

The event was inspired by the biblical prophet Ezra, who read Scripture aloud to the Israelites. In a similar spirit, readers from diverse communities will narrate the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in a livestreamed program from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily over seven days.

"America Reads the Bible is an invitation for people across the nation to reflect on the Bible's historic role in American life and its ongoing relevance to individuals and families today," said Pounds.

America Reads the Bible's partners include Museum of the Bible, Great American Pure Flix, Time to Revive, Whitaker House Publishing, Andrew Wommack Ministries, National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Wallbuilders, National Religious Broadcasters Association (NRB TV), Allen Jackson Ministries, Waterstone Foundation, Promise Keepers, Family Research Council, Family Policy Alliance Foundation, First Liberty Institute (religious liberty partner), Her Voice MVMT (prayer partner), Pray.com (celebration partner), and more than 83 other ministries across denominational lines. Worship leaders, including Phil King, Leeland, Meredith Andrews, and Dustin Smith, will create worship moments during the event.

Attendees may experience the event live at the Museum of the Bible or join via livestream on Great American Pure Flix at PureFlix.com.

Hallmark Makes New Streaming Deal for Christmas and Beyond - See Details:

Hey, Streamers & Movie Dreamers...

In case you missed this news, Hallmark Media has struck a multi-year agreement with Netflix that will bring Hallmark’s original series and select films to Netflix in the United States, as well as make some of its holiday films available internationally.

With this new deal, the first two seasons of the series "The Way Home" will stream on Netflix beginning October 1, 2025, with the third season arriving in February 2026. Future seasons will debut first on Hallmark Channel/Hallmark+ before streaming on Netflix.

In addition to airing Hallmark's series, the agreement also includes some of Hallmark's Christmas movies, including "Haul Out the Holly," "Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up," "All I Need for Christmas," "Christmas Under the Lights," "Our Holiday Story," and more.

Romantic comedies that will debut on Netflix include "An Unexpected Valentine," "Sisterhood, Inc.," "The Royal We," "Hats Off to Love," "Love in the Clouds," and more.

These movies will stream in markets where Hallmark’s own streaming platform, Hallmark+, has less reach.

Hallmark views Netflix as a way to reach a broader audience worldwide, while still maintaining its main shows and movies on Hallmark+ and its cable channel.

Have a Merry Day!
