Travel Through Time - Hallmark Releases "A Grand Biltmore Christmas" Trailer

The Biltmore Estate once again opened its doors for another enchanting Christmas movie adventure!

Hallmark has unveiled the first trailer (see below) for A Grand Biltmore Christmas, the highly anticipated follow-up to the beloved 2023 holiday favorite, A Biltmore Christmas. This new premiere stars Holland Roden, Niall Matter, Andie MacDowell, and Jonathan Frakes, and it looks like it will carry us all away on another magical journey through time.

While the original film, starring Bethany Joy Lenz and Kristoffer Polaha, transported us more often into the past, this new chapter will send us back to the future!

Filmed at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, the story follows Elizabeth (Holland Roden) and Michael (Niall Matter), who first meet as teenagers in 1895. Twenty years later, fate reunites them, but an enchanted hourglass hidden within Biltmore's library suddenly sweeps them into the modern day. As they marvel at an unfamiliar century, they'll have to unravel the mystery of the magical hourglass and discover a way to return Elizabeth to her own time before history and her future is changed forever.

Check out the new first look trailer Hallmark has released for Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, starring Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle!

*New Trailer*:

Saturday, April 25, 2026:

Happy 8 Months until Christmas Day!

In addition to it being just 8 months until Christmas Day, we’re now around 6 months away from the start of the Christmas movie season!

Saturday, April 25th, is that special time again… to “Mark the 25th” day of the month with a cozy Christmas movie! If you're planning to join in, I'd love to know which movie you are choosing. It can be a new movie, a classic movie, something you love, or something you've never seen. Please share your Christmas movie pick in comments below. (And the Christmas movies airing Friday night can count, too!)

I decided my “Mark the 25th” choice will be the classic Hallmark Channel movie, A Boyfriend for Christmas, starring Kelli Williams and Patrick Muldoon. I chose this movie in honor of the recent, sudden passing of Patrick Muldoon, which is still so hard to believe, and because this movie has always held a special place in my heart.

A Boyfriend for Christmas premiered in 2004, when there were only about 3 or 4 new Christmas premieres on the Hallmark Channel during the holiday season, so each movie was truly special. It felt like everyone who loves Christmas was marking their calendar, too, and watching with you. Streaming wasn't available then, so ratings were much higher. And this movie did not disappoint - it was funny, festive, family-friendly, and yes, there's a fake-boyfriend, Douglas Firwood, who Patrick Muldoon portrays perfectly! I've probably seen this movie hundreds of times since, and it never disappoints - it always puts a smile on my face!

I have many favorite lines from the movie, but here are two I especially love:

Ryan Hughes (AKA Douglas Firwood): I may be difficult to exchange without a receipt.

Holly Grant: That's okay, I think I'll keep you!

I hope whatever Christmas movie you choose... also brings joy to you! Please share your pick in comments below.

Sunday, April 26, 2026:

Season 3 - Episode 4

Season 3 - Episode 4:
Curveball: The robbery investigation intensifies as Reynolds (Trevor Donovan) questions Justine about her stolen ring, while tension grows between Wyatt (Nick Bateman) and Hannah (Sarah Fisher) as her career pulls her in a new direction. Across Brookfield, Wally grieves his father, Sam (Jon McLaren) struggles with change, and many relationships, including Nora’s (Cindy Busby) and Michael (Christopher Russell) are tested through moments of vulnerability and emotional growth.

Premieres Sunday, April 26, 2026
at 8pm/7c on Great American Family

*******************************

Weekend Thoughts...

The new episode of When Hope Calls: Brookfield is one you'll definitely want to *catch*! The new pastor teaches the children to play baseball, and Mountie Michael appears to be a little jealous of the new minister spending extra time with Nora.

Also, I sure hope we will all enjoy Tyler Hynes’ new movie, I'll Be Seeing You, premiering this weekend!

Hopefully, some of you have also had the chance to see the touching videos Tyler recently shared on Instagram. If not, I've included them below. It has been so heartwarming to see the genuine respect and admiration Tyler shows for the legendary Christine Ebersole, who portrays a grandmother in his new movie. They also previously worked together on Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, and it was Tyler's wish for them to reunite on screen again!

What a wonderfully talented and accomplished actress Christine Ebersole is! Her acting credits (as seen on IMDb) date back to the 1970s, and she has appeared in countless films, television movies, and series over the years. And my goodness... what a spectacular singing voice she has, too! I’m so glad these two were able to work together again on this movie and, hopefully, many more!

Tyler's video below highlights their time working on both movies - Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, and I'll Be Seeing You, and even a trip to the grocery store!

And this video from Tyler Hynes is such a touching tribute to why he so wanted to make this new movie... (warning: tissues may be required!)

Also, Hallmark hasn't officially announced, yet, but in case you haven't heard, earlier this month Tyler Hynes filmed a new Christmas movie for Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas 2026 with Laci J. Mailey (Chesapeake Shores, A Little Park Music) titled The Christmas Loop. In this new holiday movie, Tyler Hynes plays a character trapped in a Christmas Eve loop who falls for a woman. More details to come!

( images via: Tyler Hynes / Rob Lycar )

And... more Christmas-related news for Tyler... the Hallmark stores are releasing a brand new Tyler Hynes Christmas ornament. Last year's release was Lacey Chabert.

Tyler Hynes's ornament can't be purchased yet through the Hallmark store/website - it will be released on October 10th.

Lacey Chabert's ornament (from 2025) is no longer available through the Hallmark shop website; however, there are several purchase options through Ebay - click here for price and more details.

You can see the new 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Dream Book - click here.

I hope you'll enjoy dreaming with me! So many sweet new ornaments! Anything with Charlie Brown always catches my eye, and I love that Hallmark is honoring the 80th Anniversary of the classic film It's a Wonderful Life with a lovely new ornament featuring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed! I would love to know... which ornaments do like best?

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend... full of joy and happiness! As always, thank you for spending a little of your time here... your visits truly mean so much.

If you'd like to share a review for any of the programming this weekend or any previous weekend... please feel free to share in comments.

Blessings to You All!

So many wonderful Christmas movies in this schedule! I hope to catch a few here and there!

However, I’m also planning to squeeze in one of my favorites, "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" with Autumn Reeser. It’s not only a perfect pick for this Thanksgiving week, but Autumn recently mentioned on Instagram (see her post below) that her brand-new Christmas movie, "We Met in December," premiering on the Hallmark Channel Thanksgiving night, has a lot of similarities to "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade," which was her very first Hallmark Christmas movie back in 2012! It feels like the sweetest full-circle moment! And since I adore the Parade movie, I'm hoping to love her new one just as much!

And Hallmark Mystery will also join in by playing classic Christmas movies 24/7 throughout the holiday season.

If you’d like to join in the fun and celebrate this special *Countdown to Christmas* with us today, I’d love to hear which Christmas movie you’ll be watching to mark the 25th in comments below.

Victoria finds herself charmed by both Huntley and this different pace of life. As the two start to fall for each other, things get complicated when Huntley discovers Victoria is a princess. The one problem? The very different siblings, who are each going through their own personal life challenges, have naturally gone in separate directions over the years, and the idea of spending 10 days cooped up on a river cruise together makes each Keller child cringe for their own reasons. But they say 'yes' because that's what families do, never expecting it to turn out to be a glorious once-in-a-lifetime experience full of missed connections, new friendships, stunning vistas, relationship upheaval, budding romances, shipboard games, family bonding, and a secret that brings them all together in time for Christmas.'

With unexpected in-laws visiting, wild animals lurking in freshly cut Christmas trees, and a hesitant mall Santa, the boys will have their work cut out for them as the holiday begins to loom. As they navigate adulting at a level they have yet to reach, they must learn to once again lean on one another to rise to the needs of their growing family, conquer the newest challenges in their lives, and, most crucially, have the best Christmas EVER!"

My Quick Take:

So… the Hallmark Channel has officially unwrapped its Christmas movie list for 2025! 🎄

This year, we’ll be getting 24 brand-new Christmas movies. Sadly, it looks like *Miracles of Christmas* won’t be returning on Hallmark Mystery. I had a feeling, since their Christmas in June/July celebration was just a quick weekend, but still... it’s a little surprising, too, after all these years.

Another disappointment... I'm not seeing any mention of a DaySpring faith-based, inspirational movie in this year's line-up. I've so enjoyed those movies each year. I will truly miss seeing how those movies always incorporated the true meaning of Christmas.

And, I must admit, since so many of the new Christmas movie titles were announced early, there weren’t quite as many surprises this time around for the big reveal.

Perhaps, (I'll try to look on the bright side) with fewer new films... that just gives us more time to look forward to the stories we do have and to cozy up with some of our favorite Christmas classics along the way.

In a way, it may not be such a bad thing that the number of new films has been trimmed down. Many fans have said for years that 40 premieres felt like too many, so perhaps with fewer movies, each one will shine a little brighter and be every bit as magical as the favorites we’ve cherished from past seasons.

In addition to the holiday films & TV series, Hallmark will also premiere three reality series: Finding Mr. Christmas, Baked with Love: Holiday, and Ready, Set, Glow!.

I hope you discover many Christmas movies you will look forward to seeing on the Hallmark Channel this Christmas!

I look forward to sharing and hearing your movie reviews throughout the holiday season.

Joyous Christmas Blessings
to You All,
Net🎄
