✨ Happy September 25th, Christmas Movie Watchers! ✨
Can you believe it? We’re now officially 3 months away from Christmas Day! π❤️
This is the very last time we’ll be celebrating the 25th before the Christmas movie season officially begins, and the excitement is definitely building!
Great American Family will kick things off on October 10th (just a little over two weeks away!), followed closely by Hallmark Channel on October 17th. From then on, both channels will fill our hearts with holiday cheer 24/7, mixing timeless Christmas classics with a sprinkling of new premieres all the way through December.
UPtv's Christmas season begins on November 2nd, with old holiday classics and eight new Christmas movie premieres.
And Hallmark Mystery will also join in by playing classic Christmas movies 24/7 throughout the holiday season.
If you’d like to join in the fun and celebrate this special *Countdown to Christmas* with us today, I’d love to hear which Christmas movie you’ll be watching to mark the 25th in comments below.
I’ve chosen to watch "Picture a Perfect Christmas," in honor of the recent passing of Actress Paula Shaw, who so beautifully portrayed the warm and loving grandmother. Her role was such a gift, and it feels like the perfect way to remember her.✨π
This Christmas movie is extra charming, cozy, and delightful, and the title, Picture a Perfect Christmas, inspires me to imagine how I hope to picture and cherish this upcoming Christmas season.
If you can't squeeze a Christmas movie into your schedule today on the 25th, there's also an excellent line-up of Christmas movies airing on TV Friday night...

I won't have time to watch a movie tonight but Picture A Perfect Christmas in honor of Paula Shaw is the ideal choice.
ReplyDeleteThat was my #1 Christmas movie of 2019 - Florence
Florence, Awww... I agree! I love it more & more every time I see it. Hope you can catch it many times during Christmastime!!! :)
DeleteIt definitely feels like the Christmas season is upon us, especially since many stores I've recently been to have Christmas clothes and items on the shelves. I'm more than ready!!
ReplyDeleteA great choice for your movie tonight, Net! Unfortunately I won't have time for a movie today, so instead I am just going to play some Christmas music in my car.
Mark, Christmas music definitely counts, too! I love it! Hope you have Jingle Bell Rock! That's always a fun one in the car.
DeleteSafe travels to you.
Happy Mark the 25th!!! :)
I love your Christmas movie pick, Net. I’ll try to watch that and 5 Star Christmas, two favorites! Christie
ReplyDeleteChristie, Awww... I love that you chose both Christmas movies with Paula Shaw. She's truly fantastic in both. I know we're all going to miss her so much.
Delete“Home Sweet Christmas” is one of my favorite GAF Christmas movies and will be watching.
ReplyDelete-Gabe’s Mom
Question-Is Merrit Patterson starring in any upcoming Christmas movies? Thanks.
Gabe's Mom, That's a great movie pick. I'll be watching that Friday night on Great American Family... plus one of my faves airing that night on GAF, too... "Once Upon a Christmas Wish."
DeleteAs for Merrit Patterson, I've been wondering about her, too. I haven't heard of her doing a Christmas movie, yet. I know many of us will certainly miss her if she doesn't have a new film this Christmas. She's had a new holiday movie on GAF every Christmas since their very first year.
If I have a chance to watch a movie tonight, Net, I will join you in watching A Perfect Christmas. It is a favorite!~~ kitkat
ReplyDeletekitkat, It's so great to hear from you! Hope you'll be able to watch, even if it's just a little bit. Glad to hear you love it, too! :)
DeleteUpdate: Jill Wagner and Trevor Donovan's Great American Christmas Movie has been retitled 'Cranberries and Carols'
ReplyDeleteI will celebrate the 25th by watching my all-time favorite Hallmark Christmas movie… The Christmas Ornament! ππ₯°
ReplyDeleteOh Net I love your movie pick. It's one of my favorites too. I will join you and watch A Picture Perfect Christmas. We watched A Five Star Christmas one night last week. Love that one too. That movie is hilarious! Happy watching and celebrating "Mark 25th" everyone!
ReplyDeleteI still have about 15 new Hallmark Christmas movies to watch from last year before this year starts. I need to get to it.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the 25th already! And so crazy the 11th is right around the corner Net! I wish I had my fall decor out but my husband has been so busy as this is his busiest time of year for his business so my house is still spring/summer π΅π«
ReplyDeleteFor the 25th I will be watching Destination Wedding, Paula is so funny in that one.
~Paula
merry, merry!
