Candace Cameron Bure - on her Faith in Jesus and 30th Movie with Hallmark!

As the "All About Aurora Movie Mania" continues on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries this week, leading up to the all new premiere this weekend, "Aurora Teagarden: Haunted by Murder," I thought it would be the perfect time to feature a post on the star of the movie, Candace Cameron Bure!

This upcoming premiere on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will be Candace's 30th movie overall with Hallmark, 18 of them being "Aurora Teagarden" mysteries and 10 of them being Christmas movies! The other two are rom-coms.

This morning, Candace had an interview with Fox & Friends, where she discussed missing her TV dad, Bob Saget, from the "Full House" sitcom and her new "Aurora Teagarden" movie premiering this weekend. (wait for the video to load below and click the play button...)

GAC Family also revealed today that "Fuller House," the spin-off series from "Full House," will be joining their network in March. I've never seen any of those episodes so I can't give an opinion there, but I grew up on the "Full House" series and it's great to catch those old re-runs running now on GAC Family. In fact, I love the original series so much, I own the "Full House" complete series on DVD - that comes in the yellow house!

Candace also did an interview back in December with her big brother, Kirk Cameron ("Growing Pains," "Fireproof"), on his show, "Takeaways," which airs on TBN. They discussed their family relationships, shared their faith in Jesus and how to encourage others in their walk with The Lord. It's so fun to see the older brother and younger sister dynamic. If you missed it, I highly recommend watching it here...

Besides making movies, Candace has a clothing line at QVC, cookware titled: CookCraft by Candace, and a line of inspirational faith-based items, books, tees and gifts at DaySpring.

Items below from Candace's DaySpring line. Click on the products for more details.

Be sure to watch Candace Cameron Bure this week during the "Aurora Teagarden" movie mania, Thursday night in an encore airing of "The Christmas Contest" on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, plus Sunday night in the all new "Aurora Teagarden: Haunted by Murder," along with her daughter, Natasha, who will portray a teen version of Aurora Teagarden.

Sharing my heart on Lori Loughlin...

Image: Hallmark Crown Media

By now, I'm sure most of you have heard the heart-wrenching news regarding Lori Loughlin (Hallmark's "When Calls the Heart"). Unfortunately, she is one of many accused of being involved in a college admissions scam. Sadly, it has been difficult to watch as this news has developed throughout this week and the story repeats over and over on TV.

Since her indictment, Hallmark has parted ways with Lori, who we have watched in many of their films throughout the years, such as: "Meet My Mom," "Garage Sale Mysteries," "When Calls the Heart," "Northpole: Open for Christmas," "Homegrown Christmas," and more...

All current and future productions with Lori's involvement have been halted with Hallmark. Even "When Calls the Heart" has been pulled from airing Sunday night until they can figure out how to move forward with the show, without Lori.

This is truly a sad situation all around. For me, and for many of you, too, I'm sure Lori Loughlin will always be sweet Aunt Becky from "Full House." She's the one D.J. (Candace Cameron, at the time) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) could turn to whenever they were in any trouble, and I hope that family of friends and other cast members are there for Lori now, helping her and her family through this difficult time.

Lori has been one of my personal favorites to watch in all of her Hallmark movies, and although she has made this error in judgement, my heart goes out to her. It seems the media, celebrities, and pundits are so quick to condemn, and we have yet to even hear her side of the story. This is America where everyone is innocent, until proven guilty.

Hallmark's statement:
"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including "Garage Sale Mysteries," an independent third party production," Crown Media Family Networks said in a statement.

It's evident from their statement here and other responses, that this situation is breaking their heart, the same as it's breaking ours. Hallmark isn't only a network, it's a family.

Please know, I know Lori's actions (if all true) were wrong, but I'm reminded of the scripture, "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

I hope, with time, we can all extend them forgiveness and grace. I pray we can all come together, and lift Lori, and her family up in much needed prayer at this time. She has given us much joy with "Full House" and all her wonderful Hallmark movies. She has also extended great kindness to her fans via social media. I know I personally appreciated her following me on Twitter and her kind responses.

I hope in the spirit of "When Calls the Heart" and Hope Valley, we can all give Lori now our love, hope and prayers.

Blessings to you all, Net

Lori Loughlin will also star in a new When Calls the Heart Christmas movie this Christmas season.
