Look what sprung up on the first day of Spring!
According to the HALLMARK CHANNEL website, "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" is making it's return with "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon & Back" on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 8pm/7c. Starring in the movie are Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, Geoff Gustafson, and Gregory Harrison!
This is the news I was anticipating in a previous post, since the Hallmark Channel initially had several airings of classic SSD movies scheduled for April. Seeing those movies listed in the schedule prompted me to speculate that the premiere might follow. Unfortunately, those classic SSD movies were ultimately removed from Hallmark's schedule, leaving all of us POstables in the U.S. to wonder, if and when we would ever see this new premiere, that was filmed in the Spring last year.
There were other issues that also made us POstables wonder about the delay, including Eric Mabius' recent legal issues and the fact that an Australian channel, Good TV, would be airing the new movie first on April 5th, when this network typically airs movies after they premiere in the U.S.

However, I am delighted to report that our wait will soon be over POstables and we will all get to see "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon & Back" in April!
An interesting note for this mystery movie: "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon & Back" is ONLY airing (according to the current schedule) on the Hallmark Channel! As I write this, "To The Moon & Back" is NOT currently listed in the Hallmark Mystery schedule. It's quite unusual for a mystery movie to be featured in a Saturday night time slot on this channel.
Recently, the latest Hallmark Mystery premiere, "Mystery Island: Winner Takes All" premiered on a Thursday night on both Hallmark Mystery and the Hallmark Channel, and both networks are planning to do the same with the upcoming premiere of "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Lesson in Murder." It makes make wonder if this was a test of some sort for the mysteries, and perhaps based on ratings, the decision was made to place "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon & Back" on the main network in their prime premiere time slot on Saturday night.
Encore Airings:
In addition to the original premiere of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon & Back" airing on Saturday, April 26th, encore airings of this movie will also air on the main Hallmark Channel!
Current Air Dates for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon & Back":
Saturday April 26 8/7c - PREMIERE
Sunday April 27 7/6c - ENCORE
Wednesday April 30 8/7c - ENCORE
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon & Back" storyline provided by Hallmark: The POstables take a road trip to find the recipient of a lost letter and track down a musician who is the key to solving the case.

Previous "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Movies:
If you're curious about all of the previous "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies, I have a full list of the consecutive order of these films from the very beginning - *click here*.
Well, we trusted the timing POstables, and now SSD is coming back! I can't help from comparing this to waiting for a delayed package to arrive, and now we finally have some tracking information and ETA (estimated time of arrival)! The next delivery is coming soon!
More details to come as they are released by Hallmark, so be sure to stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteVery disappointed in Hallmark. But I guess it is all about the ratings for them and not having any morals.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a highly dubious decision.
DeleteForget that many want to see SSD.
I don't know the facts and people are taking different views on the video but this is going to court and until we know the outcome Hallmark should not be seem to be "supporting" Mr Mabius which is what airing the movie would do - Florence
Except what good would to do to not air the movie at all months after it had been filmed?
DeletePOstables have been waiting months to see this movie and given how many times Hallmark schedules and cancels marathons of the series, we have been worried that they were getting rid of the series altogether!
This is the only faith based movie series they have. They get rid of it, the only 'faith' representation they will have is 2 Dayspring movies each year! That cannot happen. -Maria
I despair - Florence
DeleteI am soooo happy to see this!! Do you think it’s because Good TV was? And Hallmark just couldn’t miss out? If that’s what happened, I’m still so glad. I love this series and the beloved characters!!
ReplyDeleteNice to know that all Hallmark cares about is their ratings. This movie should not even air. His friend was asked repeatedly to leave as she was causing a disturbance, both of them were spitting on other people at the bar, he shoved and than took the victim to the ground where he pulled out handfuls of her hair. The Jacksonville times union article with quotes from witnesses and the sheriff. When Lori Loughlin admission scandal happen everything was pulled but back than Hallmark had something that they are lacking now MORALS. ReplyDeleteYay! SSD is back! This news makes me so happy! Your theory was right after all Net. I wonder if they’ll add those older SSD movies back to the schedule too. Christie
ReplyDeleteChristie, I've been wondering that, as well. It does seem odd that Hallmark had those SSD classic movies scheduled at the time that would've been just before the premiere, and then they suddenly removed them. I'll never understand that.
DeleteGreat to see our POstables are returning! A Saturday premiere for the mysteries is highly unusual though. Could this be the new standard premiere time for the mystery films? Thursday nights must not be working. Melissa
ReplyDeleteMelissa, Great question! I've been pondering this as well. At this point, they aren't even scheduling the new SSD movie on Hallmark Mystery. Could this be a sign that the channel might be coming to an end??? I've always felt that Thursday night premieres weren't the best choice.
Deleteexciting news
ReplyDeleteIt’s great news to have a date for the Signed, Sealed, Delivered premiere. I was just telling my wife the other day that we might have to fly to Australia to see it. Hahaha! She was game for it, if only we could afford the round trip. Robert
ReplyDeleteRobert, You crack me up! I can't help but wonder if other POstables were seriously considering it, as well. And I wouldn't be surprised (not that I condone this) that some digital copies might be floating around after April 5th.
DeleteHowever, I'm happy that our wait won't be too long now. :)
Sorry, but the ones saying that SSD shouldn't even air need to step way back! We deserve to see this movie, not be told that Hallmark or we are terrible for supporting an 'alleged abuser'! We were told that enough when Lori moved to GAF. We deserve to see this extremely important series continue, and if all you can do is lecture on 'morals' and 'decency' (Buds, does hallmark still airing movies with gays in them mean nothing to you?), then you need to shut your yaps! -Maria
ReplyDeleteGranted everyone is Innocent until proven Guilty-This situation does not look good for Eric.
ReplyDeleteI love this series so much! Thank you for the update! SSD has meant so much to me, so I'll be eagerly anticipating this next installment!
