There are certainly some interesting Christmas movie selections this weekend!

My Christmas Movie Pick is...

While I'm looking forward to several of the new premieres, my #1 must-see Christmas movie pick, with it's strong military theme and intriguing mystery from the past, is Jill Wagner and Paul Greene's movie, Bringing Christmas Home. I was immediately taken by the poster design Great American Media released for this film as soon as I received it; their graphic design department did a phenomenal job with this one, as they represented both Christmas and patriotism with honor and class. Since both Jill Wagner and Paul Greene have such an incredible passion for giving back to our military, I'm anticipating this movie to be an instant classic!

I would love to hear your thoughts on the new movies in the comments below.

Please note: I haven't pre-screened the new movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.

Visit the *Christmas TV Schedule* for the dates and times of NEW Christmas movies airing in October, November, and December.

Praying for Peace on Earth,

*While I was finishing this post last night (Wednesday), I heard about the terrible tragedy in Maine. My heart and prayers are going out to the people there. Be safe, everyone. May God be with you...

πŸŽ„πŸŽ When You Can Stream *A Charlie Brown Christmas* for FREE on Apple TV+ πŸŽπŸŽ„ SEE HERE:

Apple TV+ still owns the rights ("Oh, Good Grief!") to the Peanuts animation collection, but thankfully, the platform is still offering non-subscribers an opportunity to watch both of the Peanuts Gang Thanksgiving and Christmas cartoons for FREE again this year!

Here are the dates and times you'll want to tune in to watch for free, if you don't have a subscription to Apple TV+...

(Details below via Apple TV+ press release.)

"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" - 50th Anniversary

Stream for FREE Saturday, November 18 to Sunday, November 19

Celebrating 50 years of this Peanuts classic, Peppermint Patty invites everyone to Charlie Brown's for Thanksgiving, even though he's going to see his grandmother. Snoopy decides to cook his own version of a Thanksgiving meal with help from his friends.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas"

Stream for FREE Saturday, December 16 to Sunday, December 17

In this beloved Peanuts special, feeling down about the commercialism of Christmas, Charlie Brown becomes the director of the gang's holiday play. Can he overcome his friends' preference for dancing over acting, find the "perfect" tree and discover the true meaning of Christmas?

If you have a subscription to Apple TV+, they will also be premiering a new Peanuts special...

"The Snoopy Show" - Happiness is Holiday Traditions

Premieres Friday, December 1

In "Happiness is Holiday Traditions," Snoopy searches for the perfect tree topper; Woodstock gets trapped in a window display; and Snoopy and Woodstock visit Spike for Christmas. An Apple TV+ original series from Peanuts and WildBrain, "The Snoopy Show" gives the world's most iconic dog his close-up and dives into new adventures with the happy-dancing, high-flying, big-dreaming beagle, who's joined by best friend Woodstock and the rest of the Peanuts gang. Josh Scherba, Anne Loi, Stephanie Betts, Paige Braddock, Craig Schulz and Mark Evestaff serve as executive producers. Alex Galatis serves as executive story editor.

Previous Peanuts cartoons are also available on the Apple TV+ streaming platform, including "Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales," "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown," "It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown," and more.

There's nothing quite like the scene when the spotlight shines on Linus center stage in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" as he shares the story of Jesus' birth straight from the scripture Luke 2:8-14...

"And there were in the same country
shepherds abiding in the fields,
keeping watch over their flocks by night.
And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them,
and the glory of The Lord shone round about them,
and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them,
Fear not, for behold,
I bring unto you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day
in the City of David,
a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you;
you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes
and lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel,
a multitude of the heavenly host,
praising God, and saying,
'Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men'.

That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown."

I hope you all will enjoy many of the Christmas movies airing on TV this weekend, old and new! I'm hoping to watch one or two of the new movies over the weekend, but I'm definitely going to record all of them! Sometimes, I get wrapped up in watching the older Christmas movies, though, it's harder to find time to watch the new ones. I'm sure many of you can relate.

Speaking of great Christmas movie classics, Hallmark Drama is airing two wonderful ones on Saturday, Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas and Trading Christmas! Both films follow a Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie marathon that begins at 1pm/12c. on Hallmark Drama.

It's going to feel a little strange not to have a new episode of When Calls the Heart this weekend, but at least we have the new Christmas movie with Kevin McGarry, Checkin' it Twice. From the various promos I've seen, this movie looks like it's going to be super funny, and I'm so looking forward to it, even though I must admit, I know only the basiics about hockey.

I'm also looking forward to Great American Family's premiere of 'Twas the Text Before Christmas. First of all, that title is so creative; I just love it! It may be the best NEW Christmas title this year. Plus, I think it will be great to see Merritt Patterson and Trevor Donovan in another Christmas movie together, since many viewers loved Jingle Bell Princess.

Be sure to share which movies you are looking forward to seeing this weekend in the comments below!

Please note: I haven't pre-screened the new movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.

Visit the *Christmas TV Schedule* for the dates and times of NEW Christmas movies airing in October, November, and December.

You can find the NEW 2023 Christmas Movie Review post- *here*.

Happy Christmas Movie-Watching!
