When Calls the Heart Season 14 Preview:

It is so delightful to see Elizabeth's excited reaction as Abigail walks toward her in Hope Valley! I just love the way she joyfully shouts Abigail's name! And of course Abigail says she can't miss her wedding - as the two embrace! This promo truly warmed my heart!

We also get a little hint of Rosemary, Elizabeth, and Abigail walking and talking together like old times, plus a quick snippet of Nathan, Allie, Elizabeth, Abigail, and LJ in Elizabeth's kitchen at the end.

I'm already so excited for the new season of When Calls the Heart to come in January, but until then I'm also loving the Christmas promos, as well!

Much to Leah’s delight, she is paired with Kris (Randy Apostle), a jolly resident who bears an uncanny resemblance to Santa Claus. While there, Maren crosses paths with the nomadic Reid (Rady), the center’s Director of Community Launch and Operations, whose job has him traveling from facility to facility to launch new branches.

The Christmas Companions program is soon jeopardized when the contractor for the center’s community room suddenly pulls out. Seeing how much joy the program brings Leah and Kris, the always helpful Maren offers to help finish the project. As she spends more time at the center with Reid, Maren slowly realizes it’s okay to let others in, accept help and stop shouldering the entire load. Reid starts questioning whether to accept his next assignment which will take him far away from the people and center that have begun to feel like home. Marie escorts Ryan on a carefully curated tour of Copenhagen and pulls out all the stops to create hygge at the inn, though both efforts end in some festive fiascos. Having first met in a children’s choir, Rose and Asha went on to pursue careers as choir masters. As Rose arrives, Asha is put on bed rest in the final days of her pregnancy. Rose steps in when the headmistress offers her the job… not realizing there was confusion over which Vienna children’s choir she worked with. Rose’s “glass half full” attitude is tested when she crosses paths with Harrison (Kemp), the traditionalist boys’ choir master who has an unwavering allegiance to history and precedents. The boys’ choir always performs at the annual Christmas Eve concert in Canterbury Cathedral but Rose questions why the girls don’t have the opportunity. When the school’s headmistress decides the two choirs should compete against each other for the honor, they get to work to prepare their students. Things go from bad to worse when they not only fail to find the elusive Birdie, but their ancient Winnebago breaks down as well. Forced to spend the next few days at the campground while they wait for replacement parts, Nora introduces Joseph and Annie to the eccentric campers who lovingly dub themselves the Nomads. Also crashing the gala is Julian (Britt), a polished and perpetually busy New York attorney on a mission of his own: his late mother received the autograph of Nat King Cole on a piece of sheet music when she was a young girl and he regrettably donated this treasured piece of family history to the DuPree Museum while emotionally numb in the aftermath of his mother’s death. Now his sister tells him she wants to give the framed sheet music to her daughter/his niece, who inherited her grandmother’s musical talent, for Christmas, and Julian is determined to bring it back home.

When Mari and Julian cross paths at the gala, they ultimately team up as they look for their chance to talk to the elusive host while participating in increasingly chaotic Christmas contests whose winners will get a tour of the museum that night by Tasha herself. I'm so happy to see another long lineup of new Christmas movie premieres coming to Hallmark Channel this year, along with so many familiar faces I always enjoy watching! There are definitely some titles already catching my eye!

It's really hard to choose, but my top three must-see movies right now are:

'When Calls the Heart' Season 14 Filming Begins!!!

Exciting news, Hearties! The wait is officially over - Season 14 of When Calls the Heart is now in production! 🎬

The cast began filming today, August 4, 2026, at the Hope Valley Jamestown movie set at MacInnes Farm in Langley, British Columbia. Production is scheduled to continue through November, which means we have plenty of Hope Valley behind-the-scenes sneak peeks to look forward to in the months ahead!

And, of course, many of the familiar faces we've grown to love over the years will be returning... Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Jack Wagner, Chris McNally, Viv Leacock, Natasha Burnett, Andrea Brooks, and more are all back for another season!

And, of course, Lori Loughlin is returning as Abigail Stanton! We saw Abigail make her much-anticipated return in the Season 13 finale, so I'm very curious to see what Season 14 has in store for her.

Now that filming has officially begun, I'm sure we'll get a few little clues from the cast along the way. You know I'll be keeping my eyes open for any Hope Valley happenings!

And then there's the big question...

Will Season 14 bring us a wedding?

After all, Season 13 ended with Elizabeth and Nathan engaged, so naturally, I'm already wondering if wedding bells will be ringing in Hope Valley this season! Of course, When Calls the Heart always has plenty of stories unfolding beyond romance, so I'm curious to see where all of our favorite characters' journeys take them next.

I'm especially hoping we get more sweet Allie and Oliver moments. I would also love to see some new storylines develop for Goldie and L.J. And, I'm going to put this out there... I kind of hope Faith finds love this season! I think that could make for a very interesting storyline.

🍁 I started watching Much Ado About Love, but so far, it has been much ado about nothing for me. The movie is slow, the storyline hasn’t grabbed me, and I’m finding it hard to believe that an actress who is starring in a play suddenly can’t remember any of her lines.

As for Kimberley and Niall’s storyline, I feel completely lost, like we missed something along the way and are just supposed to understand their connection. I also found Niall’s beard much too dark and fake looking, which was very distracting.

I usually skip Ashley’s movies because I’m never sure if they’ll be family friendly for my taste. I had heard this one was, so I decided to give it a chance, but unfortunately, it just hasn’t been very good. With only 30 minutes left, I’m still not sure I’ll finish it…and that says a lot! ~Sarah L

🍁 Falling into Place - This movie is super sweet! It follows the well-known formula of the city girl coming home and falling back in love with the boy who stayed in their small town. She, of course, likes him - but is still torn between her big city life and moving back home to be near family and friends. Sometimes, it's a little annoying that they can't see right away how much they love their life in their hometown, but it's still the storyline that most of us love and find so cozy and lightheated to watch. I know I do, and hint, hint, there's a happy Hallmark ending!

Their Fall bucket list was super cute to watch, and the supporting cast was great, too, including Geoff Gustafson (Norman from Signed, Sealed, Delivered), Stephanie Bennett (The Nine Lives of Christmas, Another Sweet Christmas), and BJ Harrison (Ainsley McGregor Mysteries, I'll Be Seeing You). Overall, it's a delightful watch - an ideal movie for the autumn season. ~Net

I hope you'll all find a movie to "fall" for from Hallmark's Fall into Love!

It looks like several movies are actually going to be fall-themed, which I know many of you love.

Plus, we'll have the return of Garage Sale Mysteries, and along with Lori Loughlin, there are two more stars from When Calls the Heart starring in the Fall movies - Chris McNally and Kevin McGarry.

If any of you don't recognize Julie Gonzalo's co-star, James Trevena, he starred in Lacey Chabert's rom-com, Lost in Paradise, and he'll also star in the supporting cast of the upcoming Christmas movie, A Grand Biltmore Christmas.
