I'm excited to share this news from Great American Family is finally official! Happy weekend, early, everyone! Since Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' all-new Christmas movies will premiere on Thursdays, you'll now find my weekly weekend movie posts/reminders on this day.
The Hallmark Channel will again have new Christmas movies airing Friday through Sunday.
And speaking of multiple movie premiere nights, Great American Family will begin airing their new Christmas movies on both Saturday and Sunday nights.
Plus, UPtv has the season 16 finale of Heartland, plus one more Fall in Love movie premiere Sunday night before they launch into their Christmas movie season next week!
Synopsis: A shopping channel host known as Ms. Christmas (Barbara Niven) receives a terminal diagnosis, which inspires a multi-city excursion set to spread Christmas cheer before her farewell broadcast.
Synopsis: A professor of military history (Jill Wagner) teams with an antique store owner (Paul Greene) to track down the original owner of a historic WWII uniform and the love letters left in its pockets.
Synopsis: A fashion designer (Rebecca Dalton) gets accepted into a Christmas challenge to create a new holiday-themed collection and not only finds the inspiration for her next line but decides to redesign her approach to what's most important in life.

There are certainly some interesting Christmas movie selections this weekend!
My Christmas Movie Pick is...
While I'm looking forward to several of the new premieres, my #1 must-see Christmas movie pick, with it's strong military theme and intriguing mystery from the past, is Jill Wagner and Paul Greene's movie, Bringing Christmas Home. I was immediately taken by the poster design Great American Media released for this film as soon as I received it; their graphic design department did a phenomenal job with this one, as they represented both Christmas and patriotism with honor and class. Since both Jill Wagner and Paul Greene have such an incredible passion for giving back to our military, I'm anticipating this movie to be an instant classic!

Jill Wagner and Paul Greene recently wrapped their Christmas movie together at the end of June, and now you can get all the details of their new holiday movie coming to Great American Family THIS Christmas in the press release below!

SET TO STAR IN HOLIDAY ORIGINAL,
BRINGING CHRISTMAS HOME
NEW YORK, NY – July 6, 2023 – Great American Family announced today Jill Wagner (A Merry Christmas Wish, Christmas Miracle For Daisy) and Paul Greene (I’m Glad It’s Christmas, “When Calls the Heart”) are set to star in the new holiday original movie, Bringing Christmas Home, which will premiere as part of the network’s annual Great American Christmas franchise. Great American Christmas returns October 20 with original movie premieres Saturdays and Sundays, and 24/7 holiday movies through the end of the year. Holiday films fans need not wait until October as Great American Christmas in July returns (returned) to air on Great American Family beginning Friday, June 30 (6 p.m. ET).
In Bringing Christmas Home, retired military officer, now Military History professor, Caroline Upton (Wagner) is enlisted to assist antiques store owner, Russell Carlisle (Greene) in finding the family of WWII Army officer Orin Newton before Christmas with the hope of returning precious personal artifacts – Orin’s dress uniform, medals, and a stack of love letters from his beloved Alice who waits for him back home. Epaulettes and insignia provide initial clues, though the search seems to dead end when Caroline discovers Orin was captured and listed as MIA. Caroline and Russell then search the love letters for clues as to what happened to Orin and whether he ever made it home to Alice.
Executive producers of Bringing Christmas Home are Brad Krevoy, Amy Krell, Lorenzo Nardini, Jill Wagner, Paul Greene, Mike Rohl, Jameson Parker, and Susie Belzberg Krevoy. Arielle Boisvert produces. My Quick Take:
From the moment I learned that Jill Wagner and Paul Greene were paired for this movie, I've been longing to share this news with all of you! I'm so glad Great American Family finally released this news today.
Based on their warm, friendly, outgoing personalities, I have a feeling Jill and Paul will make a wonderful pairing on screen. Plus, the military aspect of this film sounds ideal for Jill Wagner, who is such a strong supporter of our troops. In fact, as some of you know, Jill named her first daughter, Army.
From the storyline we are given in the press release above, this movie sounds like a heartwarming drama with a touch of history and an intriguing mystery. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing this new Christmas movie, Bringing Christmas Home, on Great American Family this holiday season!
