It's always great fun to see new Hallmark movies released on DVD, and what's better than one, but three movies in one great DVD collection! I'm happy to see some of my personal favorites in these sets, like "Love at First Dance," “Winter Castle” and "Tulips in Spring!"
Hope you see something special here to add to your collection. I personally love the 3 in 1 DVDs; I sure hope they do more of that when they release the Christmas movies!
Plus, I'm so happy to see this DVD release of "When Calls the Heart" season 7. By far, this was my favorite season of the series, yet!
I am so thrilled to share with you all today my Interview with actress Erin Cahill, who has starred in several Hallmark Original Movies, including Sleigh Bells Ring, Last Vermont Christmas, and Love, Fall and Order! You may also recognize her from the Lifetime Christmas movies Hometown Christmas and Random Acts of Christmas!
Today I'm going to be speaking to Erin about her newest film, an ImagiComm Entertainment holiday movie, Christmas on the Range, which is available on DVD - December 10, 2019 and currently available via digital streaming through Vudu.
I was over-joyed to have the opportunity to ask Erin some questions about her new Christmas movie! She is so genuinely warm and friendly in all of her responses!

INTERVIEW
ACTRESS
ERIN CAHILL
--------------------
2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: Welcome Erin to ‘It’s a Wonderful Movie,’ where we chat about family-friendly movies and shows on TV!
Please share with us the storyline to your INSP film, Christmas on the Range!
Erin Cahill:Christmas on the Range was truly one of the best experiences of my career so far! From the moment I got the offer with this beautiful story, to meeting our incredible director, our absolutely fabulous cast, and then working with this magical crew. It was a dream every step of the way! I am so thrilled to be telling a story this beautiful and one set at Christmas time!
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: Oh, it sounds wonderful! I can’t wait to see it! Plus, I’ve had the honor of interviewing your director, Gary Wheeler. It’s obvious he makes every one of his movies such a fun set.
image: Love, Fall and Order - Hallmark Crown Media
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: In Christmas on the Range you play a rancher’s daughter, and in the recent Hallmark Channel movie, Love, Fall and Order, you portrayed a farmer’s daughter. Do you consider yourself to be more country or city?
Erin Cahill: Oh my goodness, I absolutely love that question! Truthfully, I consider myself to be both! I grew up in the woods in Virginia, but then we went to New York all the time, so I will claim being city and country as the mood suits because I truly was raised in both and truly feel comfortable in both! Although I do have to say that lately, I cannot get enough of nature and the trees. So filming Christmas on the Range in the mountains of Georgia was perfection!
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: Awe… it sounds breathtaking! I know just what you mean about your love of nature. Being a farmer’s daughter, myself, the setting of this movie out in the country - certainly draws me in.
Erin Cahill - 2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: On an average day, do you prefer a T-shirt/Sweater, Jeans, and boots or a dress and heels?
Erin Cahill: I would say that I am much more a jeans and boots kind of gal! I am currently doing this interview in overalls and a T-shirt! :-)
Erin Cahill and Nicholas Gonzalez - 2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: Did you ride a horse much in Christmas on the Range? If so, had you ever ridden before?
Erin Cahill: Yes, in Christmas on the Range my character rode horses the entire movie. It was a dream come true as I have ridden off and on my entire adult life and have always wanted to ride a horse on camera! The entire time we were filming I kept saying that I wanted to do this as a series! DREAM. COME. TRUE!! I’m so thankful!!!
Erin Cahill - 2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: The setting for Christmas on the Range looks beautiful. Where was this movie filmed?
Erin Cahill: This movie was filmed in the mountains of Georgia right near the border of North Carolina. To say it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been or filmed would be an understatement! I want to go back there as often as I can!
image: Erin Cahill and Kevin McGarry - courtesy Lifetime
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: In addition to Christmas on the Range coming out on DVD and streaming this Christmas, you also have a Lifetime Christmas movie, Random Acts of Christmas, premiering this Holiday season. Have you ever experienced a random act of kindness in your own life?
Erin Cahill: Oh my goodness… I feel like I get to experience little random acts of kindness often! I always think it is our angels winking at us, and I thank them out loud every time! Doing this movie certainly inspired me to surprise people this Christmas season with little gifts and treats! It really inspired me to make a difference and spread love and joy!
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: Awe... I love that, Erin… what happiness and fulfillment it brings to our own lives to give to others!
Erin Cahill and Nicholas Gonzalez - 2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: You certainly have incredible leading men in your movies! In Christmas on the Range you starred alongside Nicholas Gonzalez (The Good Doctor), and in Love, Fall and Order there was Trevor Donovan (Nostalgic Christmas) and in the Lifetime Christmas movie, Random Acts of Christmas, you’re teamed up with Kevin McGarry (When Calls the Heart, Heartland). What was it like playing opposite of each of these actors?
Erin Cahill: I have to say, this year was beyond incredible with the leading men I got to work with! They are fabulous actors both on and off camera and are now my dear friends. Looking back on this year, I am pinching myself!

Lindsay Wagner and A Martinez - 2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: Also, what was it like working with your co-stars A Martinez and Lindsay Wagner (who are legends in the acting world), in Christmas on the Range?
Erin Cahill: You said it exactly correctly… They are absolute LEGENDS! I soaked in every second I got with them. Watching them work was like a master acting class. Talking to them was such a gift, both personally and professionally! I love and admire these wonderful people. Did I mention how absolutely grateful I am this year?! :))
Erin Cahill - 2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: Since you are starring in a Christmas movie, what are some of your own personal all-time favorite Christmas movies?
Erin Cahill: Oh my goodness, Christmas is not only one of my favorite times of year, but it is one of my favorite feelings! That feeling of love and family and connectedness and joy… It is my absolute favorite thing! I love the classics like White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street. I also love A Christmas Story and have to watch it every year with my family because it is our tradition! My husband and I love the movie Love Actually at Christmas time and the movie The Holiday! We end up watching all of those movies every year!
2019 Christmas On The Range
Net, It's a Wonderful Movie: What does it mean to you, personally, to create movies… that families can sit down and gather with one another - to watch together? What do you hope viewers will take away from watching Christmas on the Range?
Erin Cahill: Being able to do these Christmas movies is such a gift. It is truly incredible to do something that the entire family can watch together and where I know people will be moved and inspired. Christmas on the Range is one of my favorite projects for that reason. It has light and fun moments, but it is a story about the depths of humanity and forgiveness and love. I hope that people take away from this beautiful film how important we all are to each other and how forgiveness and love are imperative, not only at Christmas time, but at all times. This movie is a piece of my heart and I hope it touches the hearts of everyone who watches it!
Erin Cahill - 2019 Christmas On The Range
Thank you so much, Erin, for sharing your movie here with us! I know my family and many of my followers here have already enjoyed seeing you in your other TV movies, and we cannot wait to watch you star in this Christmas movie, too!
I also want to extend a special thank you to Tina at INSP for all of her efforts in arranging this special interview with Erin! All of your work here is greatly appreciated!
From the cast to location, it is always fascinating to hear behind-the-scenes details of the film-making experience and especially, in this case, the enjoyment Erin took in the horse-back riding and the incredible, gorgeous country landscape in Christmas on the Range.
To all my followers here... I'm so grateful for you taking the time to read my interview with Erin. Be sure and check out the trailer for the film below, and you can watch the movie through streaming at Vudu or Order the DVD - through Amazon! (Makes a great stocking stuffer!)

Shining His Light!
In honor of this farm-themed Fall Harvest movie, Love, Fall & Order, premiering this weekend on the Hallmark Channel, which is near and dear to my heart, because I am from a farm family, I wanted to share below this meaningful scripture about planting and reaping. These days, farming may be fueled by technology, big machinery, the stock market, etc..., but more importantly, it is grounded and rooted in faith.
"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."

PLOT:
Storyline via Hallmark: With the fall season underway, Claire, an ambitious New York attorney, returns to her small hometown in Vermont to help save her father’s farm from being lost in a legal battle with his neighbor. There, she runs into her former high school rival, Patrick, a handsome local lawyer, whom she soon learns is related to the woman suing her dad and is also representing her in the upcoming court case against him. Before long, Claire and Patrick find themselves on opposing sides of the heated property dispute and conflicting feelings arise when an autumn romance begins to bloom between them.
I wanted to post this update today for Hallmark Channel's Fall Harvest programming to be sure everyone following here was aware two of the previous films promoted for this upcoming block of Fall Harvest films - do not, at this time, have an air date. Hallmark has removed Love Under the Olive Tree starring Tori Anderson & Benjamin Hollingsworth and Country at Heart starring Jessy Schram & Niall Matter from their current schedule. Please note: this could change again, at any time!
I know many of you are as disappointed as I am that these two movies will not be airing on the Hallmark Channel this September and October as previously was announced. When I learn any details, I'll be sure to post further updates.
For now, Hallmark Channel's Fall Harvest schedule includes these 3 New Movies:
Over the Moon in Love
Premieres: October 5, 2019
With her match-making business on the verge of closing, Brooklyn finds herself in the unique position to be featured in a magazine, but has to set up the writer with her childhood friend Devin. Stars Jessica Lowndes and Wes Brown.
Love, Fall & Order
Premieres: October 12, 2019
When Claire goes home to save her dad's annual Fall Fest on her family's pumpkin farm, sparks fly with an old rival – the opposing lawyer she now faces in court. Starring Erin Cahill and Trevor Donovan.
(*Hallmark's third Fall Harvest film is a Good Witch movie. Please note: Due to my own personal beliefs, I do not promote this movie/television series here.)

Also, the Fall Harvest Preview Special, hosted by Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott will air during an encore airing of "All of My Heart: The Wedding" - Saturday, September 28th.
