LOS ANGELES, CA (October 2, 2025) - The holidays are a‘coming…Lifetime teams up with (music stars) Kane and Katelyn Brown for the upcoming holiday movie Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch as part of the network's annual "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" programming slate. The film is a heartwarming Christmas romance inspired by the couple’s hit country duet, "Thank God" and the song’s themes of redemption, commitment, romantic devotion and faith. The movie will star Arielle Kebbel (Y: Marshals) who was previously on the Peabody Award winning Lifetimes series, UnREAL, and singer-songwriter Tyler Hilton (One Tree Hill) who returns to Lifetime holiday movies having starred in 2019’s A Christmas Wish.

The film tells the story of Wes Campbell (Tyler Hilton), a pro-hockey player who suffers an injury during a high-profile game just three weeks before Christmas. In his journey to recovery, Wes is referred to Keller Ranch in Nashville, where he meets no-nonsense rancher Maggie Keller (Arielle Kebbel), a single-mom to son Dawson (Eshan Lyall) and equestrian-assisted therapist. Despite his initial skepticism, Wes is desperate to return to the ice and decides to give equine therapy a shot. As Maggie manages to break down Wes' walls, he also helps her heal from the grief of her husband's death. But as an unexpected romance blossoms between the two, will it go the distance or is it just a holiday fling?

🎄 I watched most of this movie last night as I like the actress, Arielle Kebbel. However, I was a bit shocked towards the end when they started ripping each other's clothes off to, presumably, begin a sex scene. LOS ANGELES, CA (September 25, 2024) - It’s beginning to look a lot more like Christmas as Lifetime announces the greenlight of the new original movie, A Very Merry Beauty Salon, executive produced and starring Tia Mowry. RonReaco Lee, Donna Biscoe, Cocoa Brown and Ashli Auguillard are also set to star in A Very Merry Beauty Salon. The movie follows the lively women of an Atlanta beauty salon owned by Sienna (Mowry) who must prepare for the annual Tinsel Ball, but is Sienna also prepared for love when Lawrence (Lee) arrives to town? This marks a reunion for Mowry and Lee who previously starred together in the iconic sitcom Sister, Sister. This marks the final installment of Mowry’s three-picture deal with the network.

In A Very Merry Beauty Salon, Sienna, the owner of the bustling Divine Beauty Salon is preparing for Atlanta’s Tinsel Ball, where she will be honored for her charitable work in the community. The annual event takes a glamourous turn with the arrival of Lawrence, a charismatic CEO whose family’s wine brand is now co-sponsoring the Ball. Sparks fly between them, but Sienna’s mother Georgia (Donna Biscoe) who is the head of the Ball’s committee, worries his involvement may ruin the event’s traditions. As Sienna and Lawrence are unexpectedly paired as dance partners, romance blooms, setting the stage for a steamy romance that challenges Sienna’s thoughts on love and family and makes this year’s Tinsel Ball the most memorable yet.

The press release above mentions that this movie project marks the final installment of Tia Mowry’s three-picture deal with the network. At this point, we don't know if they will sign Tia to do more movies. That decision will likely be based on the ratings of this Christmas movie.

You may have seen Tia Mowry's name in the press recently since she mentioned in her We TV docuseries, Tia Mowry: My Next Act, that she wishes she and her twin sister, Tamera, "were still close."

I know a lot of fans were concerned about the sister's relationship, which is probably why Tia released a statement to US Weekly to clarify, "I feel like as we grow up, we all start our own families, and their children need to lean on them. We begin to take on new roles and responsibilities within our lives. That is what that was all about."

Tia further explained that they are also physically distant, making it harder to stay close.

Hopefully, through all of this, the sisters can find time again for one another. Tamera also has a new Christmas movie premiering on the Hallmark Channel this holiday season.

Los Angeles, CA – August 11, 2022– Lifetime is making a star-studded list, checking it twice, and adding EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) award winner Rita Moreno and returning favorites Marissa Jaret Winokur and Sarah Drew to the network’s 2022 It’s a Wonderful Lifetime movie slate. Moreno will be starring in Santa Bootcamp along with Winokur (Hairspray), Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead) and Justin Gaston (Nashville Star) and the holiday tentpole movie will be directed by the network’s Queen of Christmas, Melissa Joan Hart. This will mark a holiday reunion for Hart and Winokur, as they previously starred in the network's 2018 film A Very Nutty Christmas together. In addition, Santa Bootcamp will be Hart’s fourth directed picture for the network, which will join her previously directed Lifetime films, The Santa Con, Feliz NaviDAD and The Watcher in the Woods. Santa Bootcamp will also showcase the network's commitment to diversity and inclusivity, as deaf actors Deanne Bray and Zyra Singleton will be joining the cast.

Sarah Drew (Grey’s Anatomy, Cruel Summer) pulls triple duty as the star, executive producer, and writer of Reindeer Games Homecoming. Drew stars opposite Justin Bruening (Sweet Magnolias, Grey’s Anatomy), reuniting the two former co-stars. Sarah has previously starred in Twinkle All the Way and Christmas Pen Pals. All will be joining Lifetime’s current nice list of announced 2022 holiday talent which includes Mario Lopez, Jana Kramer, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Patti LaBelle, Brooke Elliott, Brandon Quinn and Danny Pintauro.

"I have always been a holiday person… particularly Christmas. The idea that I'm actually going to participate in this wonderful Lifetime Christmas movie, Santa Bootcamp, just tickles me to no end," said Moreno. "I have been known, at Christmas time, to decorate anyone in my house who happens to stand still for more than a minute. I will decorate anyone and anything because I turn into a child. SANTA BOOTCAMP

When event planner, Emily Strauss (Emily Kinney, The Walking Dead), is hired by mall magnate, Ed Mancini (Patrick Cassidy, Castle) to stage the ultimate Christmas Gala for his most important investors, Emily finds herself being sent to bootcamp – Santa Bootcamp – to find the perfect Santa and inspiration she will need to make the evening a success. While there, Emily meets Belle (Rita Moreno, West Side Story), the bootcamp’s drill sergeant with a heart of gold, who helps Emily rediscover the magic of Christmas and find romance along the way. REINDEER GAMES HOMECOMING

MacKenzie Graves (Sarah Drew, Grey’s Anatomy, Amber Brown) is a brilliant, competitive, crossword puzzle loving Biology teacher in Vermont who recently lost her father, beloved fire chief and the heart of the town’s holiday fundraising tradition “The Reindeer Games.” Every year since his death, she competes with her dad’s former team, a group of colorful retired firefighters, to win the Games and keep his tradition alive. The holiday however, her world is rocked when fading Hollywood star, and Mac’s high school crush, Chase Weston (Justin Bruening, Grey’s Anatomy, Sweet Magnolias), comes home for Christmas to visit his pregnant sister and nephew and is begrudgingly roped into participating in the Games. When the opportunity to compete against her former mega crush arises, Mac is determined to show him up and win the Kris Kringle Cup at all costs. As the competition heats up, so does the spark between Mac and Chase, and Chase soon finds himself eager to not only win the games, but also win her heart as well. Brian Sills also stars.

Los Angeles, CA – March 3, 2021 – Lifetime announced today a two-picture deal with multimedia entertainment mogul Reba McEntire to star in and produce two movies for the network. The first of the projects will be Christmas In Tune (working title), which will be featured as a tentpole movie for the network’s annual holiday slate, It’s a Wonderful Lifetime. Christmas in Tune will also include an original holiday song by McEntire. Casting is currently underway and will film this spring.

The second film which will not be a holiday movie, is in development for 2022.

“Reba has been a creative force in both music and television for many years. We are thrilled to have her on board to produce and star in not just one – but two movies for us,” said Tanya Lopez, EVP of Movies, Limited Series & Original Movie Acquisitions, Lifetime and LMN. “Reba has been part of Lifetime’s air many years ago and we can’t wait to welcome her back!”

Christmas In Tune tells the story of Belle, a marketing executive who is worried she may lose her job. She decides to reunite a singing duo for a charity Christmas concert in order, but the problem is - the singers are actually her parents and they have not spoken to each other in years! Soon the at-odds couple is helping Belle get her life in order and she begins her own romantic duet with the new man in her life.

Christmas in Tune is written by Juliet Giglio and Keith Giglio and produced by Hartbreak Films with Paula Hart and Reba McEntire serving as executive producers.

McEntire has been an entertainment mainstay for more than 40 years. My latest watches have been: A Godwink Christmas: Second Chance, First Love, A Cranberry Christmas, The Christmas Doctor, and If I Only Had Christmas. PLOT:

Storyline via Lifetime: When a winter storm hits Cleveland and grounds flights, the nearby hotels quickly fill up with stranded travelers. Nina (Guill), a pilot, reluctantly agrees to let her arrogant but charming fellow pilot, Brady (Sevier), stay at her nearby parents' home. But when they discover her family is hosting a tree trimming party that night and that her ex will be there, Brady pretends to be her boyfriend to help her out. When the snowstorm continues, their ruse snowballs as Nina and Brady are stuck attending holiday events together. But as Christmas nears, these two opposites begin to realize the best gift they could ever receive, is perhaps, each other.
