Have a Fun and Festive Friday, everyone! I can hardly believe - it's the last one before Christmas! So much to do... so little time! Gotta get busy! I found some last minute gifts last night - thank you Amazon Prime! Their last minute deals section is really awesome - and such a huge help for picking out something special when you don't have anything particular in mind.

Hope you are able to get some shopping done, wrapping, baking, or whatever you need to do before Christmas comes!

Look for all the Christmas shows and movies mentioned above in the Christmas TV Schedule.

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town!

Blessings & Merry Christmas, Everyone! Net

  1. This comes a little late, but if you want family-friendly commercials look to Disney Channel and BYUtv. I’ve not seen anything objectionable on either station. They are unique because they mostly use commercials to promote their own products (versus everything else under the sun!). I’ve been watching Disney Channel A LOT lately and because it’s geared to kids, the limited commercials they have are family-friendly. I’ve been impressed because the tv channel and their Disney Now app have Disney Channel promos/previews and kids toys – and that’s it! How crazy is that?! BYUtv, the little I’ve watched, also has their own channel promos/previews, mostly being shown before and after the movies. The Disney Channel does not have the normal Hallmark Christmas movie but they have some fun kid Holiday concerts and tv shows with Christmas episodes. BYUtv has some really great Christmas concerts with world-renowned singers (Kristin Chenoweth is hilarious and great in her concert with the choir). The app has no ads or commercials (as someone else mentioned a month or so ago) for their movies (I don’t know about the concerts) and can be found in the “Together for Christmas” section. These two channels have been a great surprise and joy the past couple weeks.

    1. Hello Rissa! Thank you so much for sharing this. I think many of us have been wondering if there was a safe place on TV any longer. BYU does play some wonderful family friendly movies and shows, like "Heartland" and "Hetty Feather."

Now for Disney, I haven't watched that station for awhile, but I think if you watch it these days, you'll have to do it with caution. See article - here and here.

It's unfortunate there are so few good choices when it comes to wholesome entertainment these days on TV. Oh... and by the way, I saw some of Kristin Chenoweth's performance with the Tabernacle Choir - she was stunning as always and sounded amazing!

Thank you so much for sharing! God bless & Happy New Year!!! Net
