📺 🌟 How the Streaming Service Frndly TV has Changed My TV Viewing Experience... for the Better! 📺 🌟 See Here:

Last Fall, several loyal followers here at It's a Wonderful Movie shared with us how much they enjoyed their streaming service, Frndly TV, which I must admit, made me even more curious and interested in this streaming service I had been hearing so many good things about. With the incredible amount of Christmas movies coming our way then, and with their encouragement, I decided to give Frndly TV a try, with a free trial in November, and now I must share with you all my fantastic experience with this streaming service over the Christmas Season.

I easily set up an account through Frndly TV's user-friendly website, and instantly, I had this excellent streaming service, which I must say, is much lower in price compared to others currently on the market. I access Frndly TV through my Roku device which is hooked up to my television. It was easy as a wink to navigate through Fndly TV's television guide and even easier to select a program and click record with my remote. I love that their service is very basic looking and easy to use - right from the first remote click.

Throughout Christmastime, I recorded many, MANY Christmas movies, old and new, through Frndly TV, which has an unlimited DVR! This was just what I needed since my recorder with my DirecTV was nearly full. Now that it is January, I've been missing the classic Christmas movies I love on TV; however, it's been easy and convenient to go into my Frndly TV recordings and select one of the Christmas movies I recorded back in November or December. And if I watch only a portion of the movie, I can effortlessly pick up right where I left off at a later time.

One of the best features of Frndly TV is that you can do a 72-hour lookback in their TV guide and capture something you may have missed. It's also easy to schedule recordings in advance. Viewers can even record multiple shows and movies at the same time. I love that! Plus, if I miss, say, something in the morning, then I can go back and catch it that night. Or, the next night. Or, even the next - next night! Or, I can simply record it and watch it months later! Frndly TV lets you keep recordings for 3-9 months (depending on your plan).

Frndly TV is also available to watch beyond your TV. You can easily access your Frndly TV account on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc... wherever you are! All you have to do is log-in to your account, and you can watch live TV, and past TV (up to 72 hours), and all of your recordings will be right there, too - to watch at your convenience. Wherever you go, as long as you have your smartphone (or another device) with you, you'll have your Frndly TV, too!

For those of you who have been having trouble getting your current cable provider to pick up Great American Family, if you obtain Frndly TV, you'll have both Great American Family and Great American Living, plus the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Hallmark Drama, INSP, Lifetime, UP-TV, PixL, and many more channels - see here! Frndly TV has 40+ channels in all!

If you'd like to give Frndly TV a try, click here to visit Frndly TV's website and set up an account with a free trial today!

Happy movie-watching, everyone!

Blessings to you all, Net

Storyline: Buck and Jessica's merry little Christmas together takes a dangerous turn when their journey through the wild turns into a battle for survival.

Premieres Friday, December 2, 2022
at 7pm/6c. on UPtv

Movie Reviews:

🎄"I watched Christmas In The Wilds and enjoyed it. Everything about this movie was good except for a couple of things. Getting stuck in snow in a vehicle with snow tires or chains made no sense to me. Also, how could the guy not see through the manipulation of his co-worker? Both of the main actors are great together. Loved seeing all the same actors continue from Romance In The Wilds. The scenery is breath-taking! Real snow everywhere! Can not say enough about how Christmasy this is. Music is beautiful. Happy I have the DVD. Hope I did not say too much to ruin it for others. You will not be disappointed." ~kitkat

🎄"This is a sequel movie to the INSP film, Romance in the Wilds. I watched through Fox Nation, with a free streaming trial. Christmas in the Wilds is very similar to the first movie, but it has the wonderful addition of Christmas and some extra moments with Buck Thompson’s family added in, who are seen even more in this movie than the first. There’s a lot of action-adventure when Buck and his former partner/ex-girlfriend end up in the snowy forest with a blizzard on the way. Even though the weather outside is frightful, Jessica is determined to reach her boyfriend, Buck, spend Christmas together and return him to his family – before the Christmas eve service where they will honor the memory of Buck’s father. If outdoor survival is fascinating to you, then you will really enjoy this movie. Christmas in the Wilds is action-packed throughout, with some heartwarming moments, too. I especially enjoyed the scenes with Buck’s sister (played by Laura Vandervoot, “A Christmas Together With You”), who was dog-sitting for Jessica. She said she was more of a cat-person, so it was sweet to see her warm up to the dog and later on, open up and share her feelings. Overall, it was a nice movie to watch; it shows great respect to those who serve in the military, how to cope with PTSD, and best of all, it is family-friendly." ~Net

🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Premieres Friday, December 2, 2022
at 1pm/12c. on BYUtv

🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Friday, December 2, 2022:

Storyline: When her family's Christmas party gets her a cover story, a photojournalist risks her career and relationship with a new co-worker to keep her ties to the party a secret.

This year, Bridget has been asked by her network to announce a special “snow-cast” at the annual Christmas Eve festival and has brought her boss Lisa (Nicole Bilderback) along with her. Bridget’s plans to shine are foiled when a talk show host from her network arrives to join her for the broadcast. Drake Kincaid (Brandon Quinn), as it turns out, refused to hire Bridget as his co-host for their morning show a year earlier, making tensions high. The unlikely duo soon finds themselves falling for each other, but when Bridget finally discovers why Drake didn’t hire her, their romance is put to the test.

Written in the Stars - on BYU

I wanted to inform you all - BYU will be premiering another movie from Incendo productions on Saturday, April 16th, titled: Written in the Stars. Much of the movie, based on the storyline we are provided (see below), appears to revolve around the study of horoscopes and astrology, which goes against my personal spiritual beliefs. Due to that, I will not be promoting this film, but I wanted to be sure you all were aware of the content.

Written in the Stars storyline via BYU: "When Kelsey's magazine approves her pitch about a skeptic's take on love and horoscopes, she is teamed up with Astrology guru, Carter. Clearly from opposite worlds, they put their competing perspectives aside to work the story around a local meteor shower festival. Through both fact and fate, they soon unearth that love really can be written in the stars."

Astrology (according to Google) is defined as the belief that astronomical phenomena, like the stars overhead when you were born or the fact that Mercury is in retrograde, have the power to influence the daily events in our lives and our personality traits.

There is a wonderful Q & A on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association web-site that asks: "Is it all right for a Christian to believe in astrology and discover God’s plan for his or her life through a horoscope?" The question is answered with this response: "Astrology is offensive to God because it attributes to planets and stars the power that belongs to God alone and because it tries to find the will of God by other means than God has appointed." You can read more of their response - here.

Reminder: 🌹When Love Blooms🌹 Premieres Friday on BYU + My Movie Review! 💮 SEE HERE:

I am sending out this post today to remind you all - the latest movie premiere from Incendo Productions, When Love Blooms, will air this Friday afternoon, March 25, 2022, on BYU-TV at 1pm/12c.

Recently, I pre-screened the movie through BYU's we-site. See my review below.

MOVIE REVIEW - "When Love Blooms":

💮 "If you really, really enjoy flowers, then you might enjoy When Love Blooms, because nearly every scene is about arranging flowers for a big competition. As a risk management analyst, Ann Keller (played by Sarah Power, “Nantucket Noel”) is rather persnickety; she has trouble making up her mind, even in inconsequential situations, such as: picking something to eat for lunch or ice cream flavors. Ann returns to her hometown after her father injures his arm and takes his place in a flower arranging competition, titled the “Botanic Cup”. She really has no idea about flower arranging, but her partner, Aaron Blum, an ex-football player, is the town’s florist, so he teaches her. This movie is mostly family-friendly; however, I have one caution on dialogue. Aaron eventually reveals his former partner in the flower competition was his ex, and he makes a brief comment that implies that he formerly lived with his ex-girlfriend. He says, "love doesn’t lock you out of the house at 2am in only your bath robe." That’s the only questionable content I recall. The chemistry between the leads, in my opinion, is a little stiff, and Aaron’s side project at the florist shop is a bit odd. Even though I do love flowers, this was just an okay one time watch for me." ~Net

If you decide to check out the movie, please be sure to let me know your thoughts in comments below.

Just as she hopes to add some creativity back into her life, her father Tom has a minor accident and Ann winds up back in her hometown of Franklin Heights, a place she left years before in pursuit of a career in the big city. During her stay, Ann discovers that Tom has secretly become a competitive flower arranger and was set to compete in the upcoming 'Botanic Cup'. Deciding the best way to help him out - and scratch her creative itch - they both agree that Ann, through a loophole in the competition rules, will participate on her dad's behalf with the help of Aaron Blum, Franklin Heights charming resident florist. Its big city versus small town as Ann and Aaron put their opposing perspectives aside. Their effort pays off, with Ann qualifying for the final round of the competition, ultimately leading to a newfound friendship and a chance for them to compete in the finals. And much like a flower bud thriving in the right environment, Ann and Aaron's time together cultivates into a blooming romance.

New Movie Premiere on BYU - Farmer Seeking Love! 🚜

A new movie, titled: Farmer Seeking Love, will premiere very early Monday morning, February 28, 2022, on BYU at 4am/3c.! Please be sure to note: This premiere is in the AM Hours! (Thank you to the Anonymous commenter - who alerted us to this airing!)

Movie: Farmer Seeking Love

Network: BYU

Original Air Date: February 28, 2022 at 4am/3c.

Starring: Donna Benedicto and Jesse Hutch

Storyline via BYU:
As a talented producer for the dating reality-TV show, 'Head Over Heels', Claire Bardoz's days are spent behind the curtain, focused on producing the epic love stories of her contestants, all the while living vicariously through her own lacking love life. Looking to spice up the show format for their next season, Claire is elated when she receives an application from Joe Bennett, a ruggedly handsome farmer looking to be their next suitor. Thinking this could be the fresh take the show needs, Claire leaves the bustling streets of New York City and heads to Joe's farm to officially cast him as their next bachelor and get him camera-ready. Upon arrival, Claire learns that Joe's sister Addison submitted his application for the show, completely unbeknownst to him. As a massive fan of 'Head Over Heels', Addison sincerely wants to see her brother find love, and Joe begrudgingly agrees to participate after learning the TV show will not only film on his farm, but also pay for some much-needed upgrades. Through a romantically themed progression of screen tests, casting selections, and extravagant small-town date experiences, Claire earns Joe's trust with the process, and he in turn inspires her greatest potential. As their time together leads up to filming the show's first episode, it becomes evidently clear that deep-seated feelings between Claire and Joe have harvested into a reality that does not require an audience or end credits.

Movie Reviews:

🚜 "Such a fun movie!!!" ~Brenda

🚜 "Farmer Seeking Love is family friendly. (Review may contain Spoilers!) Joe Bennett’s Sister; Addison submitted a application for her Brother; Joe but he didn’t know about it. Claire received an application from Joe Bennett but she didn’t know that Addison did it for her Brother; Joe for Head Over Heel to find love. Head Over Heel reality show is like The Bachelor is certainly suitor with 25 women. Claire Bardoz is falling for Joe Bennett. Addison thinks Claire is the one for Joe. Claire says Head Over Head starts tomorrow. Joe & Claire are together in the end of the movie." ~Anonymous

🚜 "I watched "Farmer Seeking Love" on the BYUtv website and found it delightful! It really showed how much more Donna Benedicto is besides the Hallmark sidekick--the directing really allowed her and Jesse Hutch to shine. I find myself really liking the subtle moments Incendo captures as we're seeing the characters grow closer. Such moments really make a movie feel sweet!" ~Alicia

Movie Review:

⛵️ "Love knots is family friendly (Review may contain Spoilers) is about Jodie Carpenter is the owner of 'The Loft', her family's sail-making company located near quaint Redmond's Bay Marina since her Father; John Carpenter’s passing. Jodie has her Dad; John’s tool belt. When luxury developer Charles Prescott purchases the port looking to carry out a lavish expansion, Jodie fears that her business and heritage will be torn down & replaced? Jodie Carpenter as she joins forces with her friends named Nick & Beth to save the town’s marina from a luxury developer who has plans for a lavish expansion, Jodie fears that her business and heritage will be torn down and replaced. Jodie also meets Will Calvin, the architect who developed the plans for the marina, and she teaches him about the local culture and traditions of her community. Ted works on love knots: The lover's knot or love knot has a long history of being a symbol of love. It represents the unbreakable bond and eternal connection between two lovers. Jodie has a kind of feelings for Will if he does same thing for her. Jodie & Will work thing very well on sailboat ⛵️. Jodie says Happy Birthday Dad & Will says Happy Birthday Jack. They kiss at the end of the movie on sailboat." ~Anonymous

⛵️ "Love Knots - MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS Apart from Cupid's On Beacon Street I've thooughly enjoyed the Incendo movies which BYU has aired. Sadly this is the second one which didn't hit the spot. First, it is certainly family-friendly. We've seen similar plot lines before - corporate company buying over property, local businesses and way of life under threat - in this case a new marina is being planned and a family sail-making company is threatened. There's plenty of scope there and no reason why this couldn't have been good. I've only seen one other review (apart from here) and interestingly that reviewer has found exactly the same problem as myself and that is the female lead (Jodie) played by Brooke Williams. At the start she gets right in the face of a photographer (who later turns out to be the architect of the planned new marina) with the result that the guy stpes back and falls into the water. Jodie shows no remorse at all, thinks it's funny and taunts him to get over to the steps to get out, not even offering to help or knowing if he could swim - this was totally unacceptable and I really couldn't get into her character after that. I found her somewhat smug, pretty selfish wanting everything her own way and priding herself on being a big fish in a small pond. Matthew Walker who played the male lead Will was a perfectly nice guy but he lacked drive and couldn't be said to have much charisma - there wasn't much spark between them. There was some nice scenery but the story was slow, dull and predictable as it limped towards the end. In my opinion one to miss." Forence's rating - 4.

WATCH "LOVE KNOTS" THROUGH BYU'S STREAMING LINK OR THROUGH THEIR APP.

Hope you'll enjoy this movie!

BYU-TV movies are typically wholesome and family-friendly. Hope you see something you'd like to watch. Note: these new movie premieres are at 1pm EST.

It is especially nice to see BYU will be airing "Christmas on Division Street," starring Hume Cronyn and Fred Savage. I haven't seen this heartwarming movie for years and it's one with a very special, meaningful story about the homeless that truly tugs at one's heart.

Also, I am delighted BYU will, once again, be airing "Christmas Jars" - what a beautiful, inspiring story!

Storyline: Marketing whiz Lara Thompson is living a fast-paced life in the big city when she’s summoned to the sleepy town of Kissing Falls to settle the affairs of her late Aunt Vivienne who owned a tea shop. Lara originally plans to sell the shop quickly, but switches course to fulfill her aunt’s last wish – to have one of her teas awarded by the prestigious International Council of Tea Sommeliers. With the help of handsome local flower expert Matt, Lara sets out to recreate a long lost “love potion” tea. One problem – the tea’s secret ingredient is the extinct Kissing Falls rose. As Lara and Matt work together, she finds herself not only falling for Matt but for the town itself.

Review:

"Together Forever Tea - This movie is sweet, but a little slow moving, at times. I liked the present story with the leads gradually falling in love and working together on a special tea, but I thought the love story that was never fulfilled from the past was rather sad. Overall, the movie is a nice rom-com and family friendly." ~Net

"The title of the movie is so weird that I wondered what we were letting ourselves in for but this is another from a company relatively new to us which has come through with a lovely and charming family friendly movie. The pairing of Kim Crossman and Jay Ryan - neither of whom I had heard of before - was just perfect and although the plot moved at a gentle pace they lit up the screen to such an extent that you were totally captivated by them. I thought they were both excellent in their roles. Some aspects of the plot were staple fare but trying to recreate a special tea brew made it that bit different. The one downside was the sub-plot of the aunt having had a disastrous love affair in her youth which was responsible for them having to produce the new blend to try and win an award which had been denied her. Although this was a necessary element in the overall context of the plot I felt it was a bit twee and overblown in the second half of the movie and it slightly dampened my enthusiasm. Kim's pushy work partner added a bit of spice to the proceedings. But the ending was just lovely and I was left with that feel good factor. If anyone at Hallmark's casting Department happens to be reading this go out and grab Jay Ryan quickly - he's 30 years old and would make a perfect Hallmark hero!" - Florence
