🚜❤️ Fresh Off the Farm:: NEW Poster Released for 'Grounded in Love' Starring Danica McKellar & Trevor Donovan

( image: Great American Media - click to enlarge

Great American Family just released this heartwarming new poster for their upcoming original movie, 'Grounded in Love,' and I couldn’t resist sharing it with y’all!

As a country girl myself, the farm setting in the poster immediately captured my heart with the red barn, stacks of hay, the old-fashioned windmill, and that peaceful country charm. It just feels like home to me. Perhaps, some of you feel the same!

When the movie airs...

'Grounded in Love' will first premiere on Great American Pure Flix starting Thursday, August 7th. Then, you can catch it on cable when it airs on Great American Family, Saturday, September 27th, at 8 p.m. ET.

Here’s the sweet storyline Great American Media shared: "'Grounded in Love' follows Annie (Danica McKellar), a NYC flight attendant whose life is upended by a career setback and breakup. Seeking clarity, she returns to her grandmother’s Kentucky farm, where reconnecting with childhood friend Jake (Trevor Donovan) helps her rediscover faith, family, and a love that’s truly grounded.✨"

I love that the title 'Grounded in Love' has so many layers of meaning, just like Danica briefly shared during their recent Facebook Live. Grounded refers to her character, a flight attendant, who’s spending some much-needed time back on solid ground. It also speaks to the setting as Annie returns to her roots on the family farm. And even more beautifully, grounded reflects the emotional journey both Annie and Jake take as they become more grounded in their faith, their feelings, and the life they’re meant to live.

Be sure to look for this movie in September on Great American Family! I'll also be sharing other movie premieres coming in September... so stay tuned!

Blessings,

Storyline via Hallmark: Josie Hughes is a hopeless romantic who believes in the kind of romance in black-and-white movies where the leading lady finds her one true love and gets swept off her feet. She also believes the wedding bouquet always finds its way to the right person when tossed by the bride, as proven time and again at weddings dating back to her childhood. But single Josie ends up with the bouquet at her friend Emma’s wedding instead of their not-single friend Athena and fears she’s wrecked her chances of getting engaged. But when Josie begins dating eligible bachelor Will after meeting at the reception – much to the dismay of her long-time friend Alex, who has secretly held a torch for her since college – she decides the bouquet is responsible for the budding romance and begins to think that Will is “the one.” As Josie clings to the notion that the bouquet is always right, she’s missing the real-world signs that her perfect match is someone else who’s been right in front of her all along.

*Please Note: As a pre-caution, I just want to let you know - I have not previewed the new movies above; therefore, I don't know, yet, if they will be 100% family friendly. Please use your own discretion when watching and if you see any content of concern, please share in comments below. Based on the information and trailers we've been given, I'm hopeful these movies will be good ones!

It's hard to believe we are nearing the end of Fall Harvest movies and all of the NEW Christmas movies are fast approaching! Less than 2 weeks to go - before they all begin! If you're getting into the spirit, like I am, you can check out the Christmas TV Schedule - HERE! This year I've decided it will contain the new premieres, along with cherished, classic favorites - such as: It's a Wonderful Life, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and many more! You'll want to be sure to check back for updates & changes along the way - throughout the Christmas season. ( As we faithful Christmas movie watchers know... *sigh* ...there are always changes! )

The leaves on our trees here in the Midwest are still in the incredible turning stage. It is amazing to watch them gradually change daily from their light grassy green color to a pumpkin orange shade, with some rustic tones. What a wonderful reminder it is that "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven..." (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

I pray today is a beautiful season in your life!

Blessings to you all! Net

PLOT:

from Hallmark:

Shannen Doherty ("Beverly Hills, 90210") stars in "Growing the Big One," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie about a young woman who inherits her family farm which is deeply in debt and decides to enter a pumpkin-growing contest in hopes of saving it with the winnings. In the process, she falls in love with both her new partner in the pumpkin contest and the simple life of her grandfather's small town.

Emma Silver (Doherty), a big city girl and radio talk show host, returns home when her grandfather passes away. She soon finds out that her grandfather's farm is saddled with debt because he couldn't bear to sell it and see it turned into a parking lot or a highway. He also leaves Emma with a handful of his prize-winning pumpkin seeds and a note that says he's counting on her to take care of things that he couldn't.

Emma's new boss sees it as an opportunity for a gardening radio/webcam show, even though Emma knows nothing about the topic. Her grandfather's handsome neighbor is willing to help out but he wants to share half the prize money. Reluctantly, Emma agrees to her new partner's terms and soon realizes she's signed on for more than she bargained for.
