My prayer for you all on this Thanksgiving week - is that you will have joy in your heart and good health. I am so grateful to the Lord above for salvation, precious family, dear friends, a warm home, and love beyond measure. I pray you feel the same.
Every Thanksgiving my heart ponders about the Pilgrims who crossed an ocean to an unknown land - seeking and yearning for religious freedom. How brave and courageous those men and women were... who endured through sickness, bitter cold, and hunger. Through all their many hardships and losses, they leaned on their faith in God and gave thanks on that first Thanksgiving for all of their blessings of coming to this new land, America. May we never forget the sacrifices our ancestors made - so we can be free today!
Happy Thanksgiving, dear friends!
I am grateful for each of you who visit here.
God's Blessings to You All!
Here are the new movies airing this Thanksgiving week and weekend! It's quite a long list, so you'll have to pace yourself and save room for leftovers! Enjoy!

In “Royally Wrapped for Christmas,” Lindsay Peterson (Lilley) of Brooklyn, NY, heads up one of the most successful chapters of the Festive Heart Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to underserved children and founded by the Royal Family of Veronia. The foundation will commemorate its centennial this holiday and Lindsay is summoned to the kingdom to plan the celebratory gala. Before she embarks to Veronia, Lindsay meets the charity’s President, Willard, and a pleasant man, Aiden (Fehr), who Lindsay mistakenly believes is the organization’s accountant. Willard persuades Lindsay to join him and two other organizers from the global charity in Veronia. It is there Lindsay discovers the “accountant” is really Crown Prince Aiden who is to ascend the throne after his mother, Queen Rayna. Committed to the mission of the charity, Lindsay proposes a new idea based on a tradition she learned from her grandmother: each Christmas, two gifts must be given. One to keep, one to give. Veronia’s Parliament enthusiastically accepts Lindsay’s proposal for the charity, vowing to change the world in the kindest way. Now Prince Aiden must decide if the commoner from New York who has helped so many may have just stolen his heart.

You may have noticed in the list above, I did not include the movie: A Christmas Witness, which is also premiering Sunday night on ION. I have decided not to promote this movie based on it's rating: TV-PG D,L,S,V. The movie includes dialogue, language, sex and violence. Needless to say, it doesn't sound like a wholesome family film, so I'll be skipping this one.
There are several, however, I am looking forward to seeing: The Nine Kittens of Christmas, Angel Falls Christmas, Reba McEntire's Christmas in Tune, Royally Wrapped for Christmas, Christmas at Castle Hart, Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas, Christmas is You and The Christmas Contest! And more!
I'm kinda on the fence about The Waltons’ Homecoming (remake), but I'm curious, too. It's so hard to top the original, which I love! Plus, they actually removed one of the children - Ben! I personally feel that was a big mistake. On a brighter note, I have heard they created this specifically with the idea of keeping the family and faith elements of The Waltons' series from the 1970's intact - so that is positive news. Hopefully, this movie will compliment the original drama. In case you are not able to watch it on TV, the new remake movie The Waltons: Homecoming 2021 is now available to order on DVD at Amazon. (By the way, the original, The Homecoming: A Christmas Story, is available on DVD, too - click here!)
Please share which movies you are looking forward to seeing this Thanksgiving week in comments below. Hopefully, you can catch some wonderful, cherished classics and some festive new ones!
*Please note- I have NOT pre-screened these NEW Christmas movies listed above. If you happen to watch one of the new Christmas movies this week and want to share whether or not it is a family friendly movie, please stop back by and leave a review.
