  1. This is a wonderful movie! I have the DVD and have watched numerous times. Would not recommend it for kids though since there is some abuse in this movie. I cry every time I watch it. We always win with Christ!

    1. kitkat, Thank you for sharing that. I was just looking over the post this morning and thinking I should probably include a caution for young viewers for this one. I haven't had the opportunity to watch this one, yet, so I appreciate your feedback. I'm very much looking forward to it, especially when we get to the best portion of the movie - the forgiveness part!

    1. Yes, it is! This movie is based on the real life experiences of Bart Millard, who is the lead singer of the Christian band, MercyMe.

If you're not familiar with their music beyond this song, "I Can Only Imagine," they are absolutely phenomenal! I have many favorites! :)

  3. I saw this when it first was in theatres. I balled like a baby! lol...such an amazing story of Forgiveness and redemption. It is always hard to watch and hear about people suffering abuse whether physical or emotional, so there should definitely be a disclaimer for that! But what and incredible story and I have always loved that song, but to hear the back story for that song, just makes me appreciate it even more.

    1. Sarah, Oh my, I better get my tissues ready for this one. I love a good heartfelt cry. A story where a character finds redemption is always my favorite. It seems so many stories today a character is bad and stays that way, but it's also good to see that someone who is in a dark place can finally see THE LIGHT!

I will be sure to add a disclaimer above. Thank you so much for sharing that.
