Please Note: I have not pre-screened the new TV movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.

I hope you all have a wonderful last weekend in August! If you're in a Christmas mood this weekend, I noticed CMT will be playing Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York on Saturday night and most of the day on Sunday.

As for the new movies, I'm personally looking forward to seeing the Great American Family premiere of "Love in Bloom" and the new UPtv looks cute, too! Which new movie (or movies) are you picking as your must-see this weekend? Please share in comments below.

Blessings to you all, Net

SHINING HIS LIGHT:

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house
of the Lord for ever."

~Psalm 23:1-6

"The grass withers,
the flower fades,
but the word of our God
will stand forever."

Love-themed romantic comedy movies continue this March on the Hallmark Channel... with a historic mansion endangered at being torn down, a cupcake shop struggling to stay in business, and another brush with Royalty where true love "reigns"! Plus, you can go home again! (one more added to the list!)

Love, Once and Always

Saturday March 10 9:00 PM / 8:00c

Storyline via Hallmark: When Lucy’s childhood sweetheart plans to tear down the Gilded Age estate and replace it with a golf course, Lucy fights to preserve the historic mansion at all costs. As Lucy and Duncan set out to find a compromise, they learn that embracing the past may be the key to protecting the future.

Stars Amanda Schull, Peter Porte, Vanessa Bell Calloway.

The Sweetest Heart

Saturday March 17 9:00 PM / 8:00c

Storyline via Hallmark: Maddie is doing everything she can to save her cupcake business. With the help of a handsome investment banker, Maddie’s luck begins to turn around in all aspects of her life. However, when her first love Nate unexpectedly returns home after 14 years, she will have to choose between a new romance and the man she never stopped loving.

Stars Julie Gonzalo, Chris McNally.

Royal Matchmaker

Saturday March 24 9:00 PM / 8:00c

Storyline via Hallmark: A struggling NYC matchmaker is hired by a king to find his son a suitable wife in time for a national celebration. As the clock ticks towards her deadline, the matchmaker finds him the perfect wife -- only to realize that she’s fallen in love with him!

Stars Bethany Joy Lenz, Will Kemp, Brittany Bristow.

Home by Spring

Saturday March 31 9:00 PM / 8:00c

Storyline via Hallmark: When an ambitious event planner gets an opportunity she can’t refuse, she goes undercover as her boss and returns to her rural hometown. With the help of her family and the man she left behind, she pulls off the perfect spring retreat, but will she discover home is where her heart is?

Stars Poppy Drayton, Steven R. McQueen.

Between Holidays & Seasons, "Countdown to Valentine's Day" and "Spring Fling", Hallmark continues to give us many new original movies!

These three new movies (above) premiering in March sound like they will be wonderful additions to the movies we've already seen this year.

Which one looks most enticing to you? I must admit, I'm kind of a pushover for the royal movies... so, of course, "Royal Matchmaker" captures the "princess dream" I've had since I was a little girl! Is there one that especially interests you?

Many Blessings, Net
