ENJOY TWO HALLMARK CHRISTMAS MOVIE ROMANCES THIS WEEK!! #ChristmasThursdays #ChristmasFridays @hallmarkmovie @hallmarkchannel

I'm so glad Hallmark listened to their viewers and ultimately decided to keep Christmas movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Thursday nights! This week we have two wonderful Christmas movies to enjoy! I would consider both to be excellent rom-coms (romantic comedies!). Most Hallmark movies give you those warm fuzzy touch-your-heart feelings, but these two movies give you that, plus they are sooo amusing - you may even laugh out loud! Enjoy...

Storyline via Hallmark: Organizing a Christmas wedding is a true treat for bridal boutique owner Madeline Krug. She loves the challenge of finding the perfect dress for the bride and orchestrating an exquisite event. What Madeline didn’t expect was to be swept off her feet by the bride’s gorgeous brother, movie star Jonny Blaze. Jonny came to the quirky town of Fool’s Gold to support his sister — not to fall in love. Yet Madeline is the most extraordinary woman he’s ever met. Planning the perfect wedding leads to candlelit dinners and strolls through snow-covered streets. Madeline finds the real Jonny even more captivating than her celebrity crush. Will the action star be brave enough to take on the role of a lifetime?

When she arrives, she finds a high-profile billionaire — who lacks holiday spirit — in the process of selling the charming estate she hoped to use as a venue. On the night before Christmas, the young event planner wishes for a Christmas miracle to save the estate and rekindle her holiday romance.

With Christmas movies airing twice a week - every week - on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, it's truly a wonderful feeling - and something I know many of us look forward each week to seeing! And, this week... it's a nice time to re-watch (or see for the first time!) two movies that premiered in 2018!

"Christmas at Pemberley Manor" was the FIRST All NEW Original Christmas Movie to premiere for the 2018 Christmas season in October on the Hallmark Channel AND "Christmas Bells are Ringing" was actually the very LAST All NEW Original Christmas Movie to premiere in December for the 2018 Christmas season on Hallmark Movies & Movies!

Therefore, since "Christmas at Pemberley Manor" was the first, there was a lot more opportunities for viewers to catch an encore airing of this movie during the Christmas season! I found both films to be family friendly and very enjoyable in their own ways.

In "Christmas at Pemberley Manor," it was very nice to see a sweet, simple holiday story, and I loved hearing Jessica Lowndes ("Yes, I Do") sing. Plus, it was cute how they used the Jane Austen Pride & Prejudice theme. In "Christmas Bells are Ringing," I liked the dramatic, intensity of the story and watching Emilie Ullerup ("Chesapeake Shores") find her true passion - and possibly love too!

Wishing You All the Joy of Christmas!
Happy (almost) Easter, too!
(By the way, my Easter post is coming - so stay tuned!)

Blessings! Net

She comes face to face with her high school love, Chris, now a teacher, who is in over his head after he must find a new last-minute location for the Christmas dance. Heidi offers to help him and together they discover a beautiful place for the dance, perfectly capturing the Christmas spirit, called Wonderland Farms. The more time Heidi spends in Pleasant Valley decorating for the Christmas SnowBall, the more she finds herself inspired to start painting again. Entertaining Christmas (Dec. 16, Hallmark Channel)

When a young girl posts a video online requesting Claire help welcome her deployed father home for Christmas, Kara is sent in her place in an effort to prove herself a worthy successor to the board of directors and win the job. As Kara does her best to make a good impression, she gets more than she bargained for when the young girl’s uncle Joe turns out to be a reporter for the local paper, looking for his next story.”

Much to her surprise, she’s forced to team up with advertising campaign ‘fixer’ Max, who has a completely different take on the holidays. But as Elle and Max work together and learn more about each other’s Christmas traditions, they unexpectedly find themselves falling for each other. Despite being pulled in so many directions, with the help of a little Christmas magic, will Elle pull off the perfect Christmas reunion, earn the promotion of her dreams, and ultimately find the love she’s been searching for?”

Nell’s last stop on a nationwide book tour takes her to the town of Springdale, the hometown of Emmett Turner, a young man she met over five years ago while both were junior copy editors at a New York publishing company. Nell was hurt when Emmett stood her up for a dinner date and then disappeared from New York without any explanation.
