  2. Thanks Net! I just want to point out that you can also view this on E! Online where they also list the main actors in each movie! Now the anticipation is really building!!

    1. So thoughtful of you to share, Mark25! I saw those, too, and added them above! There's a few still left without cast listings, so I'm curious to see who will fill in there. Leave it to Hallmark to give us a little mystery! haha!

I'm so happy to see both Ashley Williams and Jill Wagner are returning for Christmas in Evergreen 3! That is definitely cool! That cast is just as grand as When Calls the Heart! It's always nice to see cast members return for sequels.

I also had a hunch Cindy Busby might be the star of the newest "Godwink" movie, A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love, and I'm so happy to see Hallmark has confirmed it! I'm sure she'll be wonderful in that role, and Benjamin Hollingsworth as her opposite sounds perfect! I think he's adorable.

It's also wonderful to see Laura Osnes will be starring in a Hallmark Christmas movie. Let's hope she is singing in it, too! So many great movie titles & pairings... lots to be excited for this Christmas!

Unfortunately, there's not much left for Lacey Chabert to reveal Saturday night, but I'll definitely be watching!

      Blessings on your day! Net

    2. Mark, I'm a bit of a weirdo but the anticipation for me is probably just as exciting as the participation and maybe even more so. I love this time of year where everything is ahead. It's all new and fresh and exciting. It's right there on the horizon. It's not almost over or over. It's not behind us at all even as it is when the very first movie of the very first day completes, is. It's all wonderfully ahead. As soon as it starts it loses some luster. Hard to explain how I feel, clearly, about the anticipation and the participation. Like I said though, I'm a bit of a weirdo...haha.

    3. Awwwe Jim, You are so sweet. Trust me, I get it. I always want to hold on to Christmas as much as possible and never want it to end. Even Jill Wagner mentioned in her Promo Commercial for the Christmas Preview Special with Andrew Walker, the best part of Christmas is the anticipation! Knowing it's all yet to come is soooo exciting!!! :)

    4. Yes Yes Yes Net!!! I heard Jill say that in the Promo Commercial. I even repeated it because I loved hearing her say that. She gets me...haha.

  3. I know you mentioned this a while back Net but I absolutely LOVE the new movies being on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the two channels this year. Spread out the love instead of cramming it all in on two days. More days to have something to look forward to now.

    1. Jim, I wholeheartedly agree! This idea of new premiere times spread over different days is brilliant. I, too, never cared for the overlapping times; it's much better to watch/record the first time around.

I've been updating the Christmas Movie Schedule today, as well, and seeing all the titles spread out over various days just looks so much better, and somehow, makes the quantity of movies seem not quite as overwhelming. Course, many of the Lifetime movies are on at the same time, but that's to be expected.

So much to look forward to watching this Christmas season! :)

    2. Hi there! Thanks for always keeping us updated. I thought it was a nice idea to have the Thur/fri/sat/sun movies spread out but it seems like they changed it so now hmm is all on sat and sun again. Do you know when/why this change was made? Merry Christmas!

      Delete
    3. Merry Christmas to you, too!!! I also loved Hallmark's 4 night Christmas movie premieres, but apparently it wasn't working out well for them. My guess is... it was based on ratings, but I'm not 100% sure.

It was more of a puzzle to figure out how to watch everything and my machine doesn't let me record more than one thing at a time, so unfortunately, I had to choose between movies, which is so hard to do.

Hope you can catch more movies in encore airings... that's what I'm planning to do.

      Delete
    4. Thanks, yea probably ratings, they have been switching stuff around a lot lately, even the mysteries, we will just have to try to catch it all on encores like you said, thanks for helping us keep track and for writing back, have a Blessed holiday season!

  5. Thank you so much as always for all you do! I really appreciate it!!! To be completely selfish, I will say, after doing a quick glance, and after missing him last year, I was REALLY hoping that Steve Lund would find his way back into some Xmas romance and cheer this year...but unless he is in a yet to be identified cast...it appears not :(

    1. Hello Nikki13green... I'm always looking for people I've loved in past Hallmark movies, too! Steve Lund is definitely one of them. He always plays such great, fun characters. Would love to see Steve in a new movie!

  8. Hello, Net. Thank you again for being so on top of things I was just wondering about when the schedule would be posted and you beat me to even asking the question. I am looking forward to many of these movies and I am sure I will enjoy them all. Like Jim, I am also really happy they will show each new movie on its own night (Thursday through Sunday). Hallmark just keeps spoiling us Christmas movie lovers, as do you, Net. Thank you again for being ahead of the curve for us. You rock!

    1. Thank you, Mark! I was thrilled to see this Hallmark Christmas movie news today and share it with all of you! Hallmark really has brought it this year, and I'm really excited to see many of the movies they've already promoted.

As with every year, I'll be watching/recording every one of them. I'm so glad, like you and Jim, to have the premieres on 4 separate nights. This is going to be a great Hallmark Christmas movie season!

I'll do my best to keep things updated here. I've been working on updating the Christmas Schedule, which is going to extra full of NEW movies this year, but I will also be sharing the classics we all love, too, like It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, Charlie Brown, Rudolph, etc...

We are truly blessed to have so much to enjoy! :)

  9. Are there everything Christmas movies this year or beyond?

    Timeless Christmas
Christmas at the Madison Part 1 & 2
    Foo Fighters‘ Christmas song
    Etc....

    1. I haven't heard any word specifically on these projects this year, but it's possible Timeless Christmas could be a different title now. The Foo Fighters Christmas song could also be included in one of these projects. We'll have to wait and see.

      Delete
    2. The Timeless Christmas retitled Time of the year

      Laura Ornes

      Delete
    3. I'm guessing that Anonymous meant to say Five For Fighting (John Ondrasik), and not the Foo Fighters - since Hallmark is doing the Christmas movie project based on FFF/John's song (supposedly -- although it doesn't seem to be happening this year).

Now if the Foo Fighters ever did anything for Hallmark, that would be very unexpected, indeed! lol

      Delete
    4. YES! Five for Fighting... Not Foo Fighters! Wonder what happened to this project, again? Seems to keep being announced and not happening.

  10. I hope Hallmark add extra Christmas movies for HMM what they did last year

    Last Year:
    16 —> 18

    This year:
    16 —> ?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, you never know if Hallmark might surprise us with another new Christmas movie. Anything is possible!

Last year, we were supposed to have 15, but then Hallmark added in A Christmas for the Books, making the total 16 for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in 2018.

Since they've announced 16 this year - we'll have to wait and see if that number changes as we get closer and closer to the Holiday season.

      Delete
    2. You know, I am finding myself liking this entire line-up, unlike last year, so I am hoping they don't add movies just to add them, cause Christmas for the Books was plain awful. It could have been left off. I would rather have quality movies, and it looks like this year we may get that. I have to say, I love movies with the titles of A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas, CheckInn to Christmas, Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and This time of Year. Wish they hadn't changed to Nostalgic Christmas, that is hard to say. I like the Wooden Santas title better.

Ok, I want to throw this out there, Andrew Walker and Jill Wagner need to do a movie together right? Those 2 may give the Wagner/Polaha duo a run for their money :)

      Delete
    3. Sabrina - I'm with you! These Christmas titles and cast listings look spectacular this year! I really think Hallmark has gone all out for this 10th Anniversary! However, I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if they added something extra! Like you, I wasn't into "A Christmas for the Books" last year. Drew Seeley is adorable, but the story just wasn't thrilling. Hope we like him in "Write Before Christmas" this year! Although, since his character isn't the one who gets the girl, he may not be that likable. We'll see!

Another thing great about MOST of the movie titles this year - is that more of them seem to be unique, not like anything we've heard before... like: Merry & Bright, A Christmas Scavenger Hunt, A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas, Two Turtle Doves, and so on... With names like these, you can't really mix them up with anything else!

As for Jill & Andrew teaming up... YES! YES! YES! These TWO definitely need do a Hallmark movie together. When they promoted the Christmas preview special coming up on Facebook LIVE - almost every other comment from Hallmark fans was someone saying they needed to a movie together! So... thankfully, Hallmark knows, and I think Jill & Andrew even mentioned something in that promo about doing more movies and the fact that they hadn't done one together! Maybe one day it will happen! It's definitely possible! Although, I do still love Jill and Kristoffer Polaha together.. with Hallmark, there's always room for more! :)

    1. Hello Misty! I'm not exactly sure what all Lacey will be revealing Saturday night. She's supposed to announce every title and I'm assuming the date, as well. I'm hoping everything she says will correspond with the programming guides we were given this week!

As for Lacey Chabert's movie, Christmas in Rome... it has been moved to Thanksgiving week - on Saturday, November 30th! That means she & Candace will share that weekend with new movies, and the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, A Christmas Love Story, starring Kristin Chenoweth and Scott Wolf, has been moved to the following weekend.
