Alan Thicke has passed away. He had been playing hockey with his son and suffered a heart attack on December 13, 2016 in Burbank, California.

Alan Thicke is best known to TV viewers all around the world, as
Dr. Jason Seaver, the father from the 80's sitcom series
"Growing Pains," with co-stars Joanna Kerns, Kirk Cameron, Tracey Gold, and Jeremy Miller. Like many of you, I watched this show every week with my family... we never missed it, all the fun family antics, comedy, love stories, and normal teen behavior which always made great entertainment!

Alan Thicke had an extensive career on and off the screen, as actor, producer, and music composer, including the TV theme songs to "Different Strokes" and "Facts of Life."
He also starred in several Hallmark movies, including:
