LOS ANGELES, CA (October 2, 2025) - The holidays are a‘coming…Lifetime teams up with (music stars) Kane and Katelyn Brown for the upcoming holiday movie Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch as part of the network's annual "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" programming slate. The film is a heartwarming Christmas romance inspired by the couple’s hit country duet, "Thank God" and the song’s themes of redemption, commitment, romantic devotion and faith. The movie will star Arielle Kebbel (Y: Marshals) who was previously on the Peabody Award winning Lifetimes series, UnREAL, and singer-songwriter Tyler Hilton (One Tree Hill) who returns to Lifetime holiday movies having starred in 2019’s A Christmas Wish.

“This film captures and translates to the screen the soul and wildly universal themes behind Kane and Katelyn’s hit duet,” said Executive Producer Adam Reed. “Their music evokes a feeling that has attracted millions of fans around the world, and it’s a gift to work with them and our partners at Lifetime to bring this movie to life.”

"We are thrilled to have the incredibly talented Kane and Katelyn Brown join our Lifetime holiday family,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP and Head of Programming, A&E, Lifetime and LMN. “Their music not only touches the heart but also tells a story, and we are excited to transform those stories into an extraordinary movie experience.”

Said Kane and Katelyn Brown, “The song ‘Thank God’ is so special to us. We love performing it on stage and it’s incredible how it’s connected to so many fans. We also really love Christmas and celebrating as a family. So for these two worlds to collide, we couldn’t be more excited!"

The film tells the story of Wes Campbell (Tyler Hilton), a pro-hockey player who suffers an injury during a high-profile game just three weeks before Christmas. In his journey to recovery, Wes is referred to Keller Ranch in Nashville, where he meets no-nonsense rancher Maggie Keller (Arielle Kebbel), a single-mom to son Dawson (Eshan Lyall) and equestrian-assisted therapist. Despite his initial skepticism, Wes is desperate to return to the ice and decides to give equine therapy a shot. As Maggie manages to break down Wes' walls, he also helps her heal from the grief of her husband's death. But as an unexpected romance blossoms between the two, will it go the distance or is it just a holiday fling?

Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch is produced by Lex Emanuel for Fireside (TG) Films Inc in association with Studio TF1 America and ITV America, with Adam Reed, Kane Brown, Katelyn Brown, Martha Earls, Timothy O. Johnson, Abbey Sibucao, Carley Smale and Andrew Erin serving as executive producers. Stefan Brogren directs from a script penned by Carley Smale.

UPDATE: I thought I would share all of the Movie Reviews that have come in for this movie...

MOVIE REVIEWS:

🎄 Thank God Christmas at the Keller Ranch is a really good, inspiring faith based movie. (with a few mature scenes and words included). –Maria

🎄 'Thank God: Christmas at the Keller Ranch' is a great movie too. Just be aware of some mature content. Oksanka

🎄 Thank God: Christmas at the Country Ranch is very spicy (several steamy kisses with one quickly escalating downhill). While there are some faith-based elements, this movie is not family-friendly. (Film contains some strong language too.) – Fruitcake

🎄 Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch: absolutely not clean and family friendly. It started out being that way. And then they have sex at least twice in the movie. Merry Christmas—Grace

🎄 Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch: I thought it was a good movie until about 1 hr and 26 minutes into the movie after they got back from dancing. It was very disappointing. --Elizbeth

🎄 I’m sorry I had more to add to Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch: While the scene changes from the dance floor to the bedroom, Thank God for giving me you is playing in the background. I said before this movie was disappointing and don’t recommend. -Elizbeth

🎄 I watched most of this movie last night as I like the actress, Arielle Kebbel. However, I was a bit shocked towards the end when they started ripping each other's clothes off to, presumably, begin a sex scene. This was so disappointing because the movie's title references God and the song that was playing in the background was also about God. ~Anonymous

Stay tuned for more Christmas movie news!

  1. I like Kebbel and beginning reading was thinking I was going to enjoy this - the photo looks really good.

Them I read she's a single mom and widow - pah, I won't be watching this - Florence

    1. Not trying to be confrontational, but why is a single mother who is a widow a turn-off?

    2. Because she believes that you can only have 1 great love in life. (a belief that I and many others don't share by the way). -Maria

    3. Because for me you have one true love in your life so the new partner can only ever be second best - Florence

  2. I'm no doctor, so I'm curious how equine therapy can help someone with a hockey injury. Anyway, I look forward to any movie that combines Christmas, romance and religion, and I don't think I've seen Arielle Kebbel in anything since A Bride For Christmas back in 2012 (!), and I enjoyed her in that. So this will definitely be a watch for me.

  3. This movie looks super cute, will be tuning in. And I agree Mark, I hardly see Arielle, I think j last saw her in Bridal Wave!

  4. I have to agree with Florence on this one. She brings up some great points. Also, Mark 25 raises a good question about “equine therapy”. However, In my community there is a horse farm that provides horses for mentally handicapped children. They love it.

Kebbel was good-back in the day and I would like to see her in a good Christmas movie but, the storyline falls short in many ways for me. I will pass on watching this one.

  5. I really like the look of this. Arielle Kebbel‘s movies are usually good.

But then they mentioned in the story they had a fling? Since it’s Lifetime I’m wondering what exactly that means. Christie

Don't you know that the bible denounces fornication? I turned off the movie at this point. There was nothing wholesome about that plot twist. So disappointing...
