Have a Wonderful Weekend, Everyone!

I think everything looks great on TV this weekend. Whatever we choose to watch, it looks like there are lots of terrific options. I'm definitely looking forward to Pascale & Kavan in "You Had Me At Aloha." There's just something about those two - that always puts a smile on my face. Plus, I'm intrigued by the first *June Grooms* movie on UPtv and how cool is Annie Oakley gonna be in the "Wild West Chronicles." She's quite the legend.

And if you follow *It's a Wonderful Movie* regularly, then you already know how much I love "Signed, Sealed, Delivered!" I'm looking forward to catching some of the movies when I can throughout the day on Sunday. SSD is such a heartwarming show... I absolutely love them all! If you have a chance to watch sometime on Sunday, I highly recommend tuning in!

*If you need the complete chronological order of the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series or DVD details - click here!

Please Note: I have not pre-screened these new movies above. If you'd like to share a review after they air, please share in comments. Thank you!

Stay cool this first weekend of June and be sure to stop back by to let us all know how you liked these new movie premieres or check out reviews.

Have a Blessed Weekend! Net

  1. Net you are soooo right about Pascale & Kavan. They are probably my favorite Hallmark duo. Something about them just seems RIGHT and they always make me feel cozy and happy inside.

    2. Jim, Glad to hear how much you enjoying watching these two together. I haven't caught this new one, yet, myself, but I'm quite intrigued to see how this one will, differ from When Calls the Heart and Perfect Bride.

    4. I loved it! They could make millions if they bottled their chemistry! Even their bicker/banter was cute. And the scenery! I watched the Perfect Bride movies but really didn't care for them.

    1. Pam, I'm so happy to hear how much you enjoyed the SSD marathon on Sunday. It is such a beautiful series - that's how we all feel and we just can't wait to share it with others. Welcome to the POstables!

If you need the chronological order with DVD information, I have those listed here:

By the way, SSD has that same affect on me too - crying one minute, then laughing the next!

Hope your mom enjoys them, too. Blessings to you!

    2. So true. Laughing through tears in your eyes makes it hard to see what's going on after that...haha.

  5. We watched You Had Me at Aloha this evening and, as expected, it was charming. Pascale and Kavan are one of. my favorite Hallmark couples and they were adorable in this movie. It didn't top my favorite P&K movie, The Perfect Bride, but it was light and fun and family friendly! .....and who could resist those Hawaiian landscapes!!

Also... I posted your review to the You Had Me At Aloha page.

I truly appreciate you sharing; I'm looking forward to watching this lighthearted movie sometime soon! :)

  6. I was excited for the wedding ring cause of dillon casey, i tried recording it twice last night, but have directv and we had storms at exactly the 2 times this played last night. so i am pretty sure it is missing up to 15 minutes. I like the show Air Disasters and had to re-record it, and Mastermind of Murder on Oxygen and it cut out the last 10 mins of the show, probably when they solved the crime. gotta love summer storms and direct tv.

LOVED watching Postables yesterday. Love when Oliver does the toast at the end of To the Alter and says "to the Postables". Just really love these movies and really hope we get to see a new movie soon and that it still has the aspecs of Faith, God and the military in it.

I wondered why HM was playing Christmas Patriotic movies on July 3rd and not the 4th?

    1. Sabrina - Oh yes, I know all too well about that. I remember there was a Mystery 101 one time that took me three times to get do to DirecTV and storms and the first two airings were on separate nights, but lo and behold a storm struck both times!

Glad to hear you also enjoyed some of the SSD marathon too. I said one of the movies wasn't my absolute favorite of the bunch and then the next thing you know I'm sitting there glued to it, smiling and laughing.

Did you catch Eric Mabius' tweet yesterday? He mentioned there might be news coming soon and potentially they'll film in late July and a new SSD could premiere in October! But nothing is confirmed, yet... but he sure made a lot of POstables excited that it could "potentially" be happening!

I was also wondering why they are playing Christmas Patriotic movies on July 3rd and not the 4th. Could it be that they think more people would have plans on the actual 4th and be outdoors, etc... and possibly more would watch the day before? Not sure their theory here, but that would make sense.

  7. Does anyone know how they filmed the SSD movies? It seems they had the mailbox grille all the way up to Home Again and wondered if they filmed many of these back to back to they had the same locations. I love From the Heart and One in a million and they seemed to continue right after each other, so i wondered if they filmed some of these back to back. I love how the movies take place right after each other in time.

    1. Sabrina, I sooooo miss the Mailbox Grille in later eps. I don't know what happened to it or the original DLO.

Based on their premiere dates, From the Heart and One in a million did film around the same time. From the Heart premiered February 21, 2016 and One in a Million premiered July 24, 2016. Then, Lost Without You premiered that same year on September 25, 2016.

I really wonder, if they do get the green light to film again, what locations they will use this time, especially since the last movie was in 2018. Hopefully, there will still be some familiar settings.

    2. I love that they keep the themes and storylines going, that Ramon is still around. Hope this new SSD is the beginning of a few more episodes. I love the stories they come up with to reunite the lost letters. Love that when the Yoohoo comes out they know Oliver is stressed out. I now have them all recorded, minus the christmas episode cause they dont play that on tv at all. I love seeing the porch swing at shane's house, knowing how Oliver set it up for her.

  8. YOU HAD ME AT ALOHA
I’ve seen mixed reviews on this, but honestly I really liked this one. Maybe because some of the recent Hallmark movies I’ve watched haven’t been impressive? Pascale and Kavan were both super charming, everything you could ask for in a Hallmark movie. I like the unique storyline. It was funny and entertaining. The chemistry was great. Love their cute banters and bickering. After the movie ended, I already “missed” it and wanted to watch it again. It was a delight. Some compared this to The Perfect Bride, but honestly I’m not a big fan of that due to the love triangle storyline. I much prefer this one than TPB.

On another note, I love love love getting to watch some Postables!!! Goodness, I’ve missed them. I forgot how amazing those SSD movies are. Such a gem and I can’t believe they are not making new ones!

    1. CH Mom, Thank you for sharing these wonderful reviews. I too enjoyed YOU HAD ME AT ALOHA! In fact I watched it twice over the weekend. Once recorded and the second time on Sunday afternoon when it was actually on. I think I even enjoyed it even more the second time around.

I posted your fantastic review to the YOU HAD ME AT ALOHA post here-

Also, so glad you love SSD, too! I think we must be kindred spirits! Eric Mabius has been sharing on Twitter that there may be a new movie in-the-works. It hasn't been officially announced, yet, but all POstables are definitely hopeful!
