  1. Yippeeee, I will look forward to watching this. With Hallmark being sneaky with the same sex couples in so many movies this season, I haven't wanted to watch it much. Its so sad. Will enjoy Rudolph and I have Frosty on DVD.

I also have Mickey's dvd that has Pluto's First Christmas on it. we used to have the VHS tape as a kid and loved watching that. I think I may still remember the little short movie word for word, almost like the wizard of oz. Its so cute cause the chipmunks try everything to get pluto upset and he knocks over the tree. I need to watch that tonight.

    1. We had several Christmas cartoon VHS tapes, too, as children. Most, however, were all of the specials we recorded off local TV. One of my favorites back then was an animation that told the story of how Silent Night was written. It's such a sweet story, I've often wondered what parts of it really happened.

I also love those old Mickey Mouse Christmas cartoons, too... like Chip and Dale playing in the Christmas tree... so cute! For me, those will always be the best.

      Happy watching... Merry Christmas!!!

    1. kitkat, that is so sweet you do Christmas stockings for your grown children, too - everyone loves Rudolph and the nostalgic feeling it brings!

My parents (I mean Santa!) still fill stockings for me & my siblings and all of the grandchildren! It always means so much to me and I'm sure it does to your grown children, too.

Out of curiosity, do they also get kitkat candy bars? I always loved those the best.

    2. Oh, yes! Kitkat candy bars, M&M's, and lots of dark chocolate. My husband buys every kind of candy there is for the kids. Always large peppermint candy canes. In the toe of the stockings, there is always a special item that each of them wanted for Christmas. They love the stockings more than anything else.
