After her ex-husband leaves her family at Christmas twenty years later, Maggie forms a protective shield over her heart and her son, Jordan. Jordan, however, sees that Maggie is lonely, and writes letters to God praying for her happiness.

Jordan’s prayers are answered when Maggie meets his tutor, widower Casey, and forms an instant connection that is stronger than the one she has with Tanner, the fellow divorce attorney she had been dating. When Maggie and Casey begin to fall in love, though, Maggie pulls back. After discovering a coincidental childhood connection with Casey, and reading Jordan’s letters to God, though, Maggie must decide if Christmas is the right time to open her heart to love.

How wonderful it is to have this encore airing of the "When Calls the Heart" Christmas movie, that originally aired on Christmas day! I love when all the people of Hope Valley come together to celebrate a Christmas festival and dear friends celebrate baby Jack's first birthday. Naturally, I'm looking forward to revisiting this Christmas movie before the premiere of Season 7 this Sunday!

What is your Christmas movie pick of the week?

  4. I'm glad Hallmark is playing the WCTH Christmas movie again, but I think it should've been on the Hallmark Channel.

    1. Well if the fans complain enough to Hallmark they will change it and most likely put it on every channel at the same time.

I do not understand the statement by Hallmark that WCTH is the #1 Cable series, I know that is far from the truth.

  6. CHICKEN POX RAVAGES ELIZABETH’S CLASSROOM AND PUTS ROSEMARY’S HEALTH IN SERIOUS DANGER IN ‘WHEN CALLS THE HEART’ PREMIERING MARCH 15, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Elizabeth (Erik Krakow) takes action to keep the town safe as soon as one of her students becomes infected, its spread impacts many in town. Not only does the outbreak present challenges for Bill (Jack Wagner), who’s assembling a jury to hear a lawsuit against Gowen (Martin Cummins), but it also makes Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) dangerously ill. A worried Lee (Kavan Smith) stays close to Rosemary’s side, and Faith (Andrea Brooks) chooses to miss her ride to medical school to help Carson (Paul Greene) care for Rosemary. While Nathan (Kevin McGarry) and Lucas (Chris McNally) continue to vie for Elizabeth’s affection, Nathan investigates Gowen’s case and Lucas realizes how ruthless Gowen can be when it comes to business.
