PLOT:

Storyline via Hallmark: Nicknamed “Miss Christmas,” the official tree finder for Chicago’s renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting is left desperate to find the perfect tree. A letter from a young boy promising his tree is perfect sends her to a small town where she learns the young boy’s dad isn’t willing to part with his tree. While sparks fly, she’ll be forced to confront what she’s really been missing for Christmas.

Movie Review:

"Miss Christmas" is filled with Hallmark Holiday Happiness! When Holly (A.K.A. “Miss Christmas”) goes in search of the perfect Christmas tree for Chicago’s renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting, she may find something else completely unexpected and wonderful.

When the original tree planned for the lighting becomes unusable, Holly desperately seeks out a new tree, with little time to spare before Christmas. A letter from a child brings her to a small town, where she meets the boy’s father, Sam, and his incredible, welcoming family. But, there’s one hitch… as one of the owners of the tree in the McNary family, Sam (who is a bit of a Scrooge, at the start), is not easily convinced to let the families’ tree go, even though his Father, Sister, and Son all seem eager to do so.

Will Holly eventually be able to persuade Sam to let the tree go, too? Or, will Sam, who is obviously falling in love keep up his guard, and let Holly go?

When things don’t turn out, quite as expected, Holly “Miss Christmas” soon realizes that since her family has been gone she has put so much focus on the Radcliffe Tree each year that she has completely missed a real Christmas. Will this year be any different?

Can a spectacular surprise light up the feelings Sam and Holly had for each other, once again?

“Miss Christmas” has a very sweet Hallmark Happy Ending! This is a wonderful selection for a Christmas Family Movie Night!

  2. Doesn't Marc Blucas look absolutely fantastic in these pictures!

It would appear that they have changed the plot for this movie.

Originally Sam was the young boy's uncle (still showing on Hallmark's website) but now it would appear he is his father.

I would have preferred the original.

  6. On Miss Christmas, about 30 minutes into the movie they show this yellow house with a porch upstairs and downstairs. I LOVE IT! It was such a brief shot I didn't get a good look at it. One day I'd like to build a house and I'd love to maybe incorporate that porch into it...IF I could get a picture of it!

      Love the lyrics...

      ---------------
      It's 20 degrees
      The snow on the trees
Makes the world look like crystal
      Icicles hang like silver meringue
      and outside it's just blissful
(from there it's kind of hard to tell exactly with dialogue and clapping)

      Maybe someone else knows it???
