EXCITING HALLMARK CHRISTMAS MOVIE NEWS!

ET has announced FOUR more Hallmark Christmas films for the 2018 Holiday Season…

Memories of Christmas - Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Starring: Christina Milian and Mark Taylor

Storyline via ET: “Milian will play Noelle, who was raised by the queen of Christmas. When she inherits her late mother's house, she finds out that her mother had been hiring someone to decorate it, Dave (Mark Taylor). The deal is off, but Dave convinces Noelle to let him carry on the tradition. As the display goes up, Noelle’s defenses start to come down. She embraces the town’s Christmas Gala that was her mother’s legacy, finds unexpected love, and develops a joy for the holidays that she never thought possible.”

A Majestic Christmas - Hallmark Channel

Starring: Jerrika Hinton and Christian Vincent

Storyline via ET: Hinton will be “playing Nell, an architect who goes back to her hometown after being tasked with turning her hometown's historic playhouse, which has been home to the annual Christmas tableaux, into a modern multiplex, much to the resident's objections. When she meets the new owner of the theater, Connor (Vincent), his vision and ideas clash with Nell’s. Since Connor hasn’t had much experience celebrating Christmas, Nell hopes that if she can give him a crash course in Christmas during the town’s Twelve Day Festival, that he might just change his mind about modernizing the Majestic.”

Hope at Christmas (wt) - Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Starring: Ryan Paevey and Scottie Thompson

Storyline via ET: "Recently divorced, Sydney (Thompson) decides to spend Christmas in a house she inherited with her daughter. As Sydney begins to spend more time at the local bookstore, she meets a teacher, Mac (Paevey), who also fills in for the town Santa. Mac tries to make Christmas wishes come true, and this year Sydney is at the top of his 'nice' list. As a new opportunity with the bookstore unfolds, Mac helps Sydney open herself up to life, love and believing in the spirit of Christmas again."

A Soldier's Christmas - Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Starring: Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris
(They also starred together in the 2012 Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas movie, “Christmas with Holly.”)

Storyline via ET: “Mumford plays Captain Grace Garland, a decorated U.S. veteran who returns home after two tours of Search and Rescue in Afghanistan. When Grace finds herself stranded in the town of River’s Crossing a couple weeks before Christmas, the local judge Joe Peterson (Faris), offers her a place to stay on his property and takes it upon himself to show Grace everything she has been missing; Christmas, family, community and love.”

Looks like four more wonderful Christmas movies to add to our lists!

Does one movie in particular sound most intriguing to you? I'm thinking "A Soldier's Christmas," which reunites Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris, sounds especially nice and patriotic. Please share your thoughts in comments below.

Movie Review:

Please Note: I, personally, did not like the original movie title: EX-MAS CAROL. As a Christian, I find it to be offensive when anyone misuses the word, CHRISTMAS, and removes the name of Christ. I am glad they chose to re-name the movie, Christmas Cupid, however....

Snowglobe

MOVIE REVIEW

Snow Globe - ABC family

CAST:

Christina Milian ... Angela
Lorraine Bracco ... Rose
Ron Canada ... Antonio
Luciana Carro ... Gina
Josh Cooke ... Eddie
Ennis Esmer ... Jamie DiBiasi
Erin Karpluk ... Claire
Matt Keeslar ... Douglas
James Kot ... Max
Jason Schombing ... Uncle Donny
Kailin See ... Marie
Christine Willes ... Joy

PLOT:

This movie follows a woman (played by Christina Milian) who finds she can magically leave the real world behind for the Christmas-themed dreamland in her grandmother's snowglobe. Matt Keeslar plays a love interest she encounters inside the globe.

A mystical Snowglobe transports Angela (Christina Milian), who longs for a classic, perfect Christmas away from her boisterous family, into an idyllic holiday winter wonderland. But, when the two worlds unexpectedly collide, Angela has to make a choice about what really defines her “perfect” Christmas.

Movie Review:

This movie is sweet and silly. Angela is dreaming of an old-fashioned Christmas and finds herself drifting in and out of her world and into the idealic world of her Christmas Snowglobe.

Caution: There is some drinking and a few bad words are said. In one scene, Angela is wearing a skimpy camisole top.

This movie is a little quirky and odd, but if this appeals to you, then I say... check it out. For the most part, it seemed child-like, innocent, and funny. Those Cautions mentioned above seemed brief and out of place. It's predictable, with a Happy Ending, but even though it is extremely silly, there are some cute moments along the way!
