Bridal Fever:

a sweet Hallmark Channel romantic comedy starring the beautiful and dramatic Delta Burke ("Designing Women") and Andrea Roth ("Rescue Me").

PLOT:

from Hallmark Channel-

It's a literal race to the altar when a steamy romance novelist with a long line of torrid romances - and ex husbands - sets out to help a single bachelorette ditch her bridesmaid gowns once and for all.

Gwen Green (played by Andrea Roth), an aspiring editor at Hearts Desire Publishing, is growing tired of being one of the only women left from her group of college friends not to be married. She and her friend Sandra (Melinda Deines) have tried every dating option in the book to no avail, until Gwen is assigned to work with Dahlia Marchand (Delta Burke), a famous romance novelist who has begun writing her steamy memoirs, detailing - among other things - the parade of famous men who have fallen in love with her.

Soon, Dahlia takes Gwen under her wing and promises to find her a husband in just six months, quickly introducing her to Mark (Vincent Walsh), a handsome and successful bachelor. With everything moving so fast, Gwen has to decide if Mark is the right man for her, or if her perfect match may come from a more unlikely source. Making matters more difficult is the fact that Dahlia's memoirs read more like one of her novels and less like the honest tale of the 'women behind the myth' that her fans are dying for. With time running out on her personal and professional deadlines, Gwen's head begins to spin, and it seems like everyone is catching "Bridal Fever!"

Movie Review:

Delightful and Dramatic! I loved it from the very beginning! I guess this movie would definitely be classified as a "Chic-Flick". Although, I think... there's enough spark and intrigue to keep men interested, as well.

The main characters, Gwen and Sandra, are best friends, who are desperate to find the love of their life, and to be married -- like all of their girlfriends. Dahlia, the dramatic writer, is confident she can find both women the perfect match -- in just a few months!

It's fun to watch the dating journey, and of course, it's a perfect romantic comedy... with both friends finding their soul-mates!


SEE or SKIP:
See, especially good... with your girlfriends! Decent enough for young ladies, too! No language or inappropriate relations.... just a sweet romantic comedy!

PLOT:

from Hallmark:

When the love of his life is too afraid to commit to

marriage, a desperate man’s wish will send him back ten

years to try again. With no time to spare, he will have to

rework history in order to ensure his future with the

woman he’s destined to be with.

Daylight savings time isn’t a big deal to George Muray (David Sutcliffe) after he sets time back ten years. When it comes to love, George is about to realize it’s all about timing. His girlfriend, Jane Gardner (Jennifer Westfeldt), can’t bring herself to marry again after Doug, her first husband, broke her heart. Desperate, George wishes he had met Jane before she married Doug, and the next thing he knows, he’s exactly there: Ten years earlier and just a few days before Doug and Jane’s wedding.

In a situation when every second counts, George has to rework some history in order to make sure Jane ends up with him and doesn’t make the same mistake twice. Jennifer Westfeldt and Lauren Holly costar in the time-twisting romantic comedy.

Movie Review:
I wasn’t sure about this one when I saw the promo of.. The guy going back in time to “get the the Girl” but I couldn’t help myself from instantly liking it. Maybe it was the characters or their witty conversations! I was laughing so hard… especially at how different life was in 1999 when George Murray went back in time to try to capture the woman who he knew was the love of his life, Jane.

There are a few cautions with this one, however. Jane’s friend, Mary, although misguided and laughable in her future predictions, often says things about being psychic. This didn’t bother me much due to the fact that she was very wrong in her ideas. Also, there are no sexual situations but an unmarried couple does fall asleep next to one another twice. There is a mention, however, that Jane’s first husband had a fling with the wedding planner.

Children will probably not be entertained with this one… and I don’t recommend this one for them. However, if you ever loved Back to the Future, Bridal Fever, or Father of the Bride… then this is the kind of movie you should easily love!

The best part of the movie is when George Murray and Mary are trying to catch Jane’s first husband in the act of cheating… but he overhears them and does not follow through with the fling as planned and George is perplexed as to why things didn’t replay now as they had in the past and Mary simply says – “Maybe he’s from farther in the future than you.” This line is so hilarious – I was laughing out loud so hard! The casting was great – the writing was superb! I loved it! Hopefully, you will, too!

Shark Swarm - a Hallmark Channel Original Movie Event starring John Schneider (Dukes of Hazard) and Daryl Hannah. Definitely not a Movie for children... due to violence of shark attacks in water.

Camp Rock - Disney Channel Original Movie starring the Jonas Brothers (Kevin, Joe, & Nick Jonas).... about a rockin' teen, summer music camp.

Enchanted - A Magical Fairytale Movie from Disney... that leaves you dreaming and remembering the first time you fell in love with Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc.... and all of their Prince Charmings! Starring Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Julie Andrews as Narrator.
