Storyline: Amanda (Erin Karpluk), a world-renowned pastry chef, is worried she's losing her edge. Wanting to re-claim her title as the Queen of Christmas Cookies, she enters the Chicago Christmas Market Christmas Cookie Competition, which requires that bakers pair up with other businesses to create the best confections. Knowing she'll find inspiration in her hometown of Paisley, Amanda decides to pair with The Little Shop of Fudge, a staple in the community. Little does she know, the owner, Jackie, has left her handsome nephew, Simon (Christopher Russell), in charge of operations and he doesn't have a clue about making fudge. With Jackie away, Simon and Amanda must work together to recreate Jackie's world-famous fudge in time for the competition, learning that their opposite philosophies just might make for a sweet and savory romance.
Movie Review:
Christmas Love and Fudge is clean and quite sweet. -Maria
Christmas Love and Fudge – I agree with Maria’s review; this movie is family-friendly and very sweet. The female lead, Amanda (Erin Karpluk), is quirky and cheerful, and her opposite, Simon (Christopher Russell), is a lot of fun! The two team up to uncover the secret ingredients behind Simon’s Aunt Jackie’s Joy to the World Fudge recipe.
It's just good, cozy comfort entertainment. The heart of the story was all about the fudge and their amazing teamwork, which, of course, leads to love. This ended up being a lighthearted, delightful watch. ~Net

Storyline: When Sophie (Bure) and Sam (Mathison) see their own love story turned into a Christmas movie, their small hometown of Waynesbridge, Washington, transforms into a real-life holiday film set. But as the spotlight grows brighter, the couple must navigate the pressures of fame and expectation — and discover whether their love story can outshine the cameras.

Storyline: Struggling singer-songwriter Dylan believes he’s on the verge of his big break when his band signs a contract with a major Nashville record label. However, his dreams are shattered when tragedy strikes: his daughter dies on Christmas Eve. Grief pulls Dylan away from his wife, Kara, and toward his manager, Jenna, as he tries to distract himself by restoring an old theater. In the midst of loss and searching for purpose, a forgotten song and the steadfast love of his family help him find the miracle of Christmas, reminding him—and everyone—of the core meaning of the holiday: reconnecting through faith, hope, and love.
Saturday, December 20, 2025:

Storyline: "Liv (King) and Daniel (Roderick) are hosting their families for the first time this Christmas, and stress is at an all-time high. When unspoken irritations within their relationship finally reach a boiling point, Liv and Daniel find themselves at odds and decide they need to take a break from each other. However, relaying this news to their families will most certainly ruin Christmas, so they decide to move forward with their original plans and will pretend to be a happy couple while everyone is under one roof. As they navigate the complexities of their respective families and work together to create a holiday celebration they'll all remember, Liv and Daniel begin to rediscover what they love about each other and may not have to pretend much longer."

Teaming up with Caroline (Zibby Allen), the club’s pickleball coach, Luke reluctantly agrees to compete in a high-stakes holiday tournament that could save the club. As sparks fly both on and off the court, Luke realizes the greatest victory might just be love, family, and a new chapter at home.

Movie Review:
Christmas with the Knightlys - What a cute little movie! Sweet, romantic, funny. Most all of the actors were new to me and they all did a good job. Family friendly. Glad I own the dvd so I can watch this again sometime. ~~Jane

I'm personally looking forward to seeing... both Great American Family movies - Chasing Christmas and Another Sweet Christmas! Of course, with such wonderful actors as Candace Cameron Bure, Cameron Mathison, Trevor Donovan, and Jillian Murray, I already have a feeling these movies are going to be something really special!
Plus, based on Jane's lovely review above, I'm also looking forward to seeing Christmas with the Knightlys on UPtv!
Cautions: Based on the storyline released so far, it appears that the Hallmark movie A Make or Break Holiday may depict a couple who are living together but are not married. Please know, I'm not 100% certain about this. My assumption is simply based on the promo details we have, and things will be clearer, of course, once the movie airs.
The new Hallmark movie, The Christmas Baby, feautures a same-sex female couple adopting a baby.
Also, I want to caution that UPtv’s The Best Thing About Christmas has more emotionally heavy themes. From the story description, the film addresses adult subject matter involving the loss of a young child. However, the story also offers a message of hope, following a grieving father who searches for meaning and healing and ultimately turns to his faith.
Please note: I haven’t pre-screened the NEW movies mentioned above, other than Sweet Holiday Romance. (You can find mine and Maria's reviews above.) If you happen to watch any of the new Christmas movies and would like to share your thoughts, please stop back by and leave a review in the comments. I always love hearing what you think!

ReplyDeleteHere are some reviews for some of the lifetime movies :
Christmas in Alaska was clean and sweet.
A Runaway Bride For Christmas is clean and sweet. There is the guy working at the coffee shop who gives the appearance of being gay, but nothing is said and he does not appear anymore in the movie.
Rodeo Christmas Romance was good. But I will give a caution: there are some kissing scenes that are way beyond Hallmark and Great American Family.
Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch: absolutely not clean and family friendly. It started out being that way. And then they have sex at least twice in the movie. Merry Christmas--Grace
Grace, I so appreciate these reviews! Thank you!
DeleteOthers mentioned that there was mature content in Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch, and I was wondering what that exactly meant. So I appreciate you giving us more details on that. You wouldn't think they would include content like that with God in the title. That is really disappointing. I will be skipping this movie for sure.
Again, thank you so much! Merry Christmas!!! :)
Christmas is less than a week away!! Wow! How did that happen! And with WCTH right after… so much to look forward to is closer and closer! As for this week Candace Cameron Bure for sure!!
ReplyDeleteAbigail, I know... the time is flying! I'm sure I'll blink twice, and it will be 2026! Holding on tight to this Christmas week and all the joy of the season and rejoicing in the birth of our Savior!!!
DeleteEnjoy watching Candace's movie! I've watched the first hour, so far, on Pure Flix, and it is really good!
Merry Christmas, my friend!!! :)
Net, do you realize that you are at 42.5 million pageviews already?! Didn't you just hit 41 million a week or two ago, and 40 million just a couple of weeks before that?? My goodness, you're going to crash the internet! ;) Seriously, it just shows how popular...and loved...you are, and how everybody comes to this site because of its content and welcoming environment. So once again, hats off to you my friend!
ReplyDeleteMark - Oh my goodness... you’re absolutely right! Thank you so much for catching that. I honestly feel like I just updated that number at the top (under the banner) to 41 million, so it didn’t even cross my mind to check the counter at the bottom again.
DeleteEvery year, especially during Christmastime, so many new visitors stop by, and I know families are turning to the reviews to help choose what’s safe and enjoyable to watch together.
So truly, thank you to you, Mark, and everyone else who takes time out of your day to share and help. I’m so grateful and a little overwhelmed in the best way. Bless you, my friend! Merry Christmas!!!
Happy movie watching this weekend friends! Super excited that Christmas is around the corner but also sad at the same time, that these special holiday months will be behind us. It’s a strange feeling that comes every year when this time is here…. Thankfully I’ll have a lot of Christmas movies recorded to keep me in the spirit!

Another Sweet Christmas- really great! Candace & Cameron are fantastic! By the way, I would love to see Stephanie Bennett star in a movie on Great American Family.
ReplyDeleteHave We Met? - another great movie. Danica & Jesse are fun to watch together. Family friendly.
if you don't mind a few steamy scenes that don't go into the graphic nature, then you might like A Pickleball Christmas. -Maria
