The 30th Annual Movieguide Awards Gala was held on Friday, February 10th, 2023, at the Avalon Theater in LA, California. These awards honor inspirational, family-friendly, and spiritual programming across various platforms, such as: television, streaming, theater, etc...

Many celebrities were in attendance, including Candace Cameron Bure, Lori Loughlin, Great American Media's CEO Bill Abbott, Natasha Bure, Donna Mills, Pat Boone, Haylie Duff, Rob Mayes, Terry Crews, Kathy Ireland, Kate Flannery, Bruce Davison, Logan Shroyer, Callaway Corrick, Marcelle LeBlanc, Christian Finlayson, Chrissy Metz and more...

The Movieguide Awards will be televised on February 26, 2023 on UPtv, which was one of the main sponsors for the event and has become well-known for their uplifting television entertainment and streaming service UP Faith & Family.

Some of the winners from the Movieguide Awards have been revealed on social media, but I won't spoil the results for those of you who want to be surprised; I'll just give a slight hint and say it was an excellent night for Great American Family and Candace Cameron Bure!

  1. This is awesome! It would’ve been nice to have watched this live, but at least Up will be airing the show soon.

    1. Agree. Why can’t UP or some network show this live? I don’t care at all about the Oscars and such, but they get hours and hours of live coverage on local tv.

Also, who does these nominees? Some of the noms seem off to me.

  3. I typically watch but one awards show per year, The Kennedy Center Honors. For this, I might have to make it two.

  7. A Paris Proposal is family friendly about Anna @ Sebastian travel to Paris to land an ad account, but sums up in a tricky situation when the client mistakes then for a happy couple. Follows Anna & Sebastian, work colleagues who are mistakenly believed to be a couple by a client & now they must keep up appearances to not disappoint their biggest client.

  9. LOL love how on any article about Great American Family there always has to be the Hallmarkie’s telling how a great a hallmark movie was. Very boring and no chemistry.

  10. This looks like a fun awards show, I'll definitely tune in for this! It's nice to see how UPtv is making an effort to air more family and faith-filled movies. Kudos to them!

  12. I heard Grammy Award winners Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr were there and performed. Why are they not in any articles promoting this event?? Not even photos on the red carpet?? At least they promoted it in their social media with photographs. Multiple Grammy award winners being treated this way by this organization ..disgusting!
