  1. I watched all four of the Hallmark premieres last week. I enjoyed Merry & Bright and Two Turtle Doves a lot, but my favorite by far was Christmas Scavenger Hunt. Loved every minute of it! I'm not sure I ever stopped grinning through the whole thing. The scavenger hunt made for a fun and different angle to the story, and there was a lot of cute and funny banter between all the characters, which I always love. This is one I'll be watching again...several times, I'm sure!

  2. The female lead in this was ....different! In a good way. She brought a realness through her banter that was refreshing and light. At first, it felt like a surprising casting choice but through the film she was enjoyable to watch. In the end, I didn't feel drawn in to the chemistry between the leads but the scavenger hunt was an interesting angle for a storyline.

  3. This one was CUTE! I wasn't sure about the female lead at first, but she's a breath of fresh air and surprisingly very likable and enjoyable to watch! I do wish there was a better climax to their reunion at the end. She kinda just told him she broke up with her BF which to me was meh... could've been a better scene. I did enjoy this one the most out of the other movies premiered so far!

  5. Count me as another huge fan of this movie! It was just so much fun to watch, and it wasn't as formulaic as most. Kevin McGarry is so natural and easy to watch, and now I've got a new favorite with Kim Shaw. She is funny! And I loved Tom Arnold, too.

  6. Finally got around to watching this and I completely agree with all the comments above. I wasn't sure at first about the casting, but ended up loving Kim Shaw. She was a breath of fresh air and I can't wait to see her in other movies. Loved the fun banter between her and Kevin McGarry. I don't know that I totally bought into their romance, but their friendship bond was fun to watch and I could pretend along for the sake of the happy ending. Tom Arnold (as her father) just had me shaking my head, I couldn't decide if his character was scripted to be quite that quirky or whether Tom was just looped-up on cold medicine; nevertheless, it somehow (?!?) kind of worked. And I loved the idea of how they did the scavenger hunt and I was taking notes to use for the future.
