  1. I'm just happy to see Brennan Elliot in a new Christmas movie!

    1. Awe, me too! Brennan is always so fun to watch! In fact, I even loved him in the Fall Harvest preview show. I always wonder how much more he adds to the scene, beyond what's in the script! He truly becomes his characters! Definitely a favorite of mine too! :)

  2. Net, thanks for sharing the early news. I love Christmas surprises too! I was looking forward to the announcement tomorrow, so it's nice not to have to wait. I agree with you on your favorite must see movies and will also add Marrying Father Christmas, Northern Lights of Christmas and Once Upon a Christmas Miracle. I'm also curious about Christmas Copy. It sounds like an intriguing title. Actually, I can't wait to see them all! And do we have to wait till October 26? Can't we start watching now? :-) Thanks again and God Bless Us All. Best wishes, John

    1. You're welcome, John! I'm with you - why wait until October 26th? Bring on Christmas now!!! LOL!!! :)

I'm definitely intrigued by the ones you mentioned, as well. Those two titles... "Northern Lights of Christmas" and "Once Upon a Christmas Miracle" are just beautiful - all on their own!

      Blessings to you! Net

  3. Thanks so much for sharing this list, Net. For some reason I couldn't fully see the movies on EW's site, but I knew you would have them listed so I came here and I was right. Thank you for all the time you put into this for us.

If I have to pick a favorite must see, I would pick everything you picked, Net, plus Pride, Prjudice, & Mistletoe, Marrying Father Christmas, Mingle All the Way, and so on and on. Like you, I can't choose only one!

    1. So glad I could help, Anna! I've had others mention problems with that site, as well, so you are not alone there.

I love the movies you mentioned too! I didn't want to stop listing all the ones I can't wait to see! Thank goodness we have ways to record them all! :)

      Blessings, Net

  4. No Andrew Walker? What a shame. He's so good in all his movies. Can't believe it's near Christmas time already..

    1. Actually, Andrew Walker has filmed a Christmas movie (for another channel), but I'm not at liberty to share until the network sends out a press release. I'm working closely with them, and they've asked me to keep their news confidential until they report on them.

Please stay tuned for further movie news! :)

      Blessings, Net

    2. That's awesome to know that you are trusted to share! Look forward to the announcement.

Plus, did you see Tia has TWO Christmas movies (one for Lifetime) coming out?

    3. Is this his movie with Rachel?

    4. Yes, she's been busy this year! More news to come!!!!! :)

  5. I know I will love the ones who have been in a lot of Hallmark movies and Christmas movies. Like Jen Liley, Candace, Danica, Alicia, Ashley, Erin, Lori, etc. Can't wait to see the newer actors this year that hasn't been in less than 2 movies.

    1. Those are all wonderful mentions, as well, Becky! It will be wonderful to see all those actresses in Hallmark movies, again, and Jen Lilley in her first one for Christmas! She is such a remarkable actress. When I first saw her in "Eat, Play, Love," I just knew she would be great, and she most definitely is!!! :)

      Blessings, Net

  6. May I share your website with a Signed, Sealed, Delivered fan group on Facebook. I think they would love you site as much as I do.

    1. Absolutely! Please feel free to share! I am such a big fan of SSD too! Would love to have all the POstables on Facebook stop by for a visit! I know we are all excited to have Eric Mabius (Oliver) starring in a new Hallmark Christmas movie!

Thank you so much, swish1014, for sharing! :)

  7. Ahhh the distant sleigh bells ringing sound just went up a decibel today with this news. Thanks Net. You made my day. The glow of Christmas getting brighter.

    1. I feel the same way, Jim! It's definitely getting closer now! :)

  8. Thank you so much for sharing. So excited!!! Will you also be posting the other Christmas movies on Lifetime,UP ETC.

    1. I sure will! I've been reporting on all the various networks for many years now. See

When their news is released, I will be sharing it in new postings.

  9. Isn't it funny how Alexa and Carlos' movies sound a lot alike? LOL

    1. Yes they kinda do, Misty! I wish Alexa and Carlos were both together for a movie, again. I just love them on screen with one another... such a sweet couple! :)

    2. Here are the story lines from EW:

Christmas Made to Order (Dec. 23, Hallmark Channel)

      STARS: Alexa PenaVega

CONTAINS: Family reunion, holiday coordinator falling for client

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: “When architect and Christmas amateur Steven finds himself hosting his family for Christmas, he recruits holiday coordinator Gretchen (PenaVega) to bring holiday joy to his home. Gretchen’s expert Christmas spirit brings Steven’s family together, but neither expected it to bring them closer to each other. After a great opportunity presents itself to Gretchen, she and Steven must decide what’s really important in life.”

Focus on Love (Dec. 29, Hallmark Channel)

      STARS: Carlos PenaVega

CONTAINS: Frantic party planning, unexpected romance, New Year’s Eve to remember

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: “With only one week to prepare, Lisa Patterson and her family of party planners are given the biggest job in their company’s history: a New Year’s Eve party for tech entrepreneur Megan Clark. But when her brother breaks his leg and her parents head off on a planned vacation, Lisa must reluctantly enlist the help of her brother’s visiting college buddy, David Campos (PenaVega), to help her pull off the event which just so happens to fall on her favorite day of the year. But what Lisa didn’t plan on was falling in love in the process.”

  10. Maybe Andrew Walker will be in Snowed Inn Christmas II. What a Christmas present that would be! Thanks for all the exciting info, Net! Happy Fall Harvest!

    1. That's a wonderful thought, Barbara! They could both be sent off on another writing assignment for the holidays... something, of course, that has them at odds, until the spirit of Christmas brings them back together!

Happy Fall Harvest to You!!! Blessings, Net

  11. So many of these sound sooo good! Was hoping to see Marc Blucas back. Would be his 3rd Christmas movie back to back. Glad to see Jennifer Finnigan...I really like her. I hear those bells ringing! So exciting! Thanks Net!

    1. They most certainly do! And what I love most of all is... it seems each year one of the movies I hadn't anticipated liking, actually becomes one that I love very much!

I also think Jennifer Finnigan and Eric Mabius will be a wonderful match in "Welcome to Christmas."

Glad you hear the bells ringing too! :)
      Blessings, Net

    2. I love the books Welcome to Christmas is based on. Debbie Mason is a great writer and I love all the characters. Madison and Gauge are just the beginning. Madison's friends Vivi and Skylar have their own books and who they fall in love with. I just love the Christmas Colorado series.

    3. That's wonderful to hear, Sabrina. So looking forward to this one! :)

  12. Replies
    1. Yes, these are all the 36 NEW Christmas Movies coming to Hallmark this year. There will be 22 new movies on the Hallmark Channel, and 14 new Christmas on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Of course, it is possible there could be something added or taken away. Please stay tuned for any updates.

  13. It feels like Christmas is really getting close now! I just received the first Christmas catalog of the year, the local Walmart has started to put out Christmas trees and ornaments for sale, it feels like Fall outside...and now we get the Hallmark Christmas line-up! The excitement is truly building...! :)

    1. Oh, yes!!! We're just getting started!!!

It's so fun to get little hints of Christmas, here and there! I love when the dwindling garden center at my local Walmart magically turns into twinkling lights, shiny bows, and of course, the beautiful trees you can see, even from a distance, when you walk in the door! I will definitely have to check and see if the elves have been at work, at my local store! haha!

Thank you, Mark, for sharing the joy!!!
      Blessings, Net

  14. Awesome! Many thanks, Net, for supplying this information!

  15. I am sad some are missing from the movies this year, such as Rachel Boston, Autumn Reeser, Taylor Cole, Emilie Ullerup, I am hoping some of these TBA movies will have them in it. Or they will turn up on another channel. I can't wait to hear Lifetime,UP, and Ion movies for this year. I have my list of what has filmed and I have some I think are Lifetime so will be good to see if I am on the right track :)

    1. Yes, it's so exciting, Sabrina... so many more Christmas movies from all these networks to come!!! :)

  16. I am THRILLED to finally see women of color as the female leads in Hallmark movies--particularly Christmas movies. This has been SUCH a much-needed change for this network! Tia Mowry, Tatyana Ali, and Christina Milian.....yes! I have been waiting for YEARS for Hallmark to realize this world is made up of a variety of people, and for them to actually show that variety on screen---not as supporting characters, but as leads! This is just amazing! I'm so excited, and happy that new female faces are getting added to the Hallmark family!

    1. I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed this news! It is fun to see all sorts of new people showing up in Hallmark movies! :)

      Blessings, Net

  17. I'm confused. Jingle Around the Clock wasn't mentioned, but it's on the Hallmarkchannelpress.com web site. I could have sworn that Danica tweeted 'Christmas Jingle' when she was first hinting at her movie. But, that must have changed. Any idea what Jingle Around the Clock is with the movies mentioned?

    1. It appears that may be an alternate title for "Christmas Copy." Not sure which one they are going with, yet. We shall see...

"Jingle Around the Clock" does sound like such a fun movie title! Hope they go with that.

And for now, it seems Danica and Brennan's Christmas movie is keeping the title "Christmas at Grand Valley."

Also, it looks like "Focus on Love" may be being changed to "A Midnight Kiss," which sounds like it might be New Years Eve movie.

I wouldn't be surprised if some other titles get changed around a bit, as we get closer to the season!

      Blessings, Net

  18. I really love and appreciate Hallmark's branching out and putting more diversity in the female lead roles in their Christmas movies this year. It'll be nice to see different backgrounds/ethnicities/cultures shown having a family, overcoming a staple Hallmark Christmas movie adversity, and having a happily ever after. This is a change I've been hoping and waiting for, so I'm excited to see it come to life. Looking forward to the rapidly approaching holiday season!

    1. Yes, it is nice to see all people welcomed on Hallmark.

I'm glad this news brightened your day! :)

  19. Once Upon a Christmas Miracle is based on True Story

    1. Yes, and it sounds like such a heartwarming story.

Here's the plot description from EW:
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: “Told she would have less than a few months to live without a liver transplant, Heather Krueger’s time was running out when a kind stranger, Chris Dempsey, heard of her plight and discovered he was a perfect match. The two met and before long a friendship developed into romance. The movie follows Heather and Chris’ journey over three Christmases as his selfless gesture leads to a Christmas miracle for everyone involved. Based on a true story.”

I look forward to hearing more on this one.

  20. Any word on if Hallmark Drama will air Christmas movies? If they did, I'd love for them to play the older HM movies.

    1. Great question, Steve. I haven't heard any news on-line or in social media, yet. I don't have the station, myself, so I don't know if there might be some promotional ads on there.

I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if they did play some holiday movies on there this year. Mainly, at this point, I would anticipate some Christmas movies from the past, but in years to come - they are talking about producing their own.

      To be continued...

  21. I've been mostly out of touch with Hallmark news and movies this year due to it being a crazy year for me and my immediate family (two weddings and several moves, two of the moves being mine). Imagine my delight to tune back in here and find out Christmas movies are only a month away!! And what a great lineup it's looking to be!

I, of course, am looking forward to them all, but at this point my "absolutely can't miss" list includes "Christmas at Graceland" (I'm pretty much guaranteed to love any Hallmark movie with Wes Brown in it), "A Godwink Christmas," "Welcome to Christmas" (it'll be so fun to see Eric Mabius in a Christmas movie!), and the sequels, "Marrying Father Christmas" and "Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa."

Thank you, as always, for all you do to keep us informed, Net! Thanks to you, I can get all caught up on everything I missed in "Hallmark land" this year.

    1. Amy, It's so wonderful to hear from you! Oh my goodness... what a busy year you've been having, along with your family. I'm so glad you had the time to say hello today... I always enjoy your fun comments about movies!

You are so right, it definitely looks like a great lineup of Christmas movies coming our way! Love your "absolutely can't miss" list! They are all the same ones on my list too!

Thank you for your sweet comment, Amy! Again, it's so absolutely wonderful to hear from you! :)

      Blessings!!! And, welcome back!!! Net

  22. Danica McKellar announced on FB today (10/2/18) that her former co-star from Wonder Years, Dan Lauria will be playing her dad in her Christmas movie, Christmas at Grand Valley!!! They will be reunited on TV for the first time in 25 Years!!!

    1. Hi Jill! Oh my goodness... I saw this awesome news too! I am so excited for this little reunion! I always loved "The Wonder Years." It's so fun that "Mr. Arnold" and "Winnie Cooper" will be together again!

I would absolutely love to see Fred Savage ("Kevin Arnold") do a Hallmark movie one day, as well! Perhaps, Danica could talk him into it!

    2. I would love to see Fred and Danica in a Hallmark movie together, and I would even love to see Fred and Candace Cameron Bure in a Hallmark movie together too.

    3. Love that idea, Jill! Have you ever seen Candace & Fred's movie "No One Would Tell"? It's kind of intense and creepy, so it would be fun to see them do a lighthearted Hallmark movie.
