Synopsis on DVD Cover:

In the twilight of their youth... her love gave him the courage to win.

A coming-of-age story about love, loss and the value of sportsmanship.

Distraught over the recent death of his Marine father, young lacrosse star Conor Sullivan (Kellan Lutz) watches his life spiral out of control as he behaves in increasingly self-destructive ways. As Conor's girlfriend Brooklyn (Ashley Greene) tries to help him through the pain, his rebellion comes to a head in a violent on-field clash with a rival teammate. Conor is then put under the care of his father's Marine buddy (Adam Beach), who takes him to a strict wilderness youth camp where he experiences lacrosse in its purest Native American form. And so begins Conor's journey - the struggle to understand the true meaning of sportsmanship and life.

Thrilling sports action (choreographed by Major League Lacrosse champion Kyle Harrison) and an incredible cast including Adam Beach (Cowboys and Aliens, Flags of our Fathers), Gabrielle Anwar (Burn Notice) and Chord Overstreet (Glee) combine to make this family-friendly romance one of the most enjoyable films of the year.

PLOT:

From TBN:

From the looks of things, high school senior Solomon White has everything going for him: he's a great athlete, he has a good-looking girlfriend, he drives a nice car, and lacrosse coaches from top colleges are heavily recruiting him.In other words, Soli has an incredibly bright future. But things aren't always how they appear. When a devastating head injury literally flips his vision--and his world--upside down, Soli is left not knowing what normal looks like anymore. His carefree ways are instantaneously replaced by fears of an unknown future. The Upside movie provides a unique perspective as Soli attempts to come to grips with his new reality. And that's before he starts falling for Wren, a believer who's been blind since birth.Add in trouble at home with his mom, uncertainty if he will ever play lacrosse again, and a teacher that thinks he can do much more in school than he wants to, and suddenly, Soli's senior year looks nothing like he imagined it would. When facing life's twists and turns, it's important to know what you believe. And even when you can't trust your eyes, you still have your voice. This fresh story of faith is an inspiring reminder that when life gets you down, there's always an Upside.
