✨🎅 New "Prep & Landing" Animation to Premiere This Christmas 🎅✨

A brand-new holiday adventure is on the way! 🎅

"Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol" premieres this Thanksgiving, November 27th, on the Disney Channel, with streaming available the very next day on Disney+.

Viewers will once again get to enjoy the delightful antics of the adorable elves, Lanny and Wayne! Plus, the special will air later in the season on ABC and Freeform as part of their well-loved “25 Days of Christmas” celebration!

According to Disney's press release, this cartoon is "marking the franchise's return after more than a decade, "Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol" is the fourth installment in a series of popular animated holiday specials featuring Christmas elves from an elite organization tasked with preparing homes worldwide for Santa's arrival. The new special follows Christmas elves Lanny and Wayne, whose holiday mission goes awry, leaving Wayne convinced he's in major trouble with Santa and accidentally revealing other merry mishaps."

Please Note: I haven’t always connected with some of Disney’s more recent projects, especially those with woke content, but I’ve always had a soft spot for this charming "Prep & Landing" series and some of the great Disney classics, like Cinderella, Snow White, Bambi, Toy Story, etc... My hope is that the new special will capture the same innocent, lighthearted fun and sweet spirit that made the previous cartoons such a joy to watch.

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town + Frozen and Toy Story highlight ABC's Christmas 2020 Schedule - SEE HERE:

As most of you know by now, there will be no Charlie Brown cartoons this holiday season on ABC since Apple purchased the streaming rights. (In the words of Lucy... "Those Blockheads!" Sorry, it had to be said and now I feel much better.)

Despite there being no showing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and cherished favorite A Charlie Brown Christmas on their channel this Christmas, ABC will still be airing some beloved Christmas cartoons. It doesn't make up for Charlie Brown by any means; however, it's still nice to see some tradition is remaining.

In their recent press release, ABC revealed air-times for the Disney animations Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Toy Story That Time Forgot, Disney Prep & Landing, plus the Rankin/Bass classic Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town and others. In addition to that programming, ABC is also bringing back the annual CMA Country Christmas and The Great Christmas Light Fight, as well as The Disney Holiday Singalong and The Sound of Music. First of all, Charlie Brown has to be one of the very best Cartoons ever - and the Christmas Special is by far (in my opinion) the absolute Greatest Peanuts Episode Ever with Charlie Brown and the precious little tree, Snoopy decorating his house with lights, Linus telling the true Christmas Story and all the Peanuts Gang coming together at the end to decorate that sweet little tree... that just needed love! And, the joy of hearing them all sing Hark the Herald Angels Sing at the end! Oh, it's just beautiful!

Watch with your family, and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas all over again!

Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful !!!

I've been dreaming of a White Christmas, but this wasn't how I pictured it. We have intense Blizzard conditions today- strong winds and blowing snow.... it isn't pretty at all. I just hope and pray everyone is careful out there in it.

Last night after watching A Charlie Brown Christmas (one of my favorite Christmas Cartoons!), we watched the new Disney Prep & Landing Cartoon... it was real cute.

Oh, Good Grief !!!!

ABC pulled their airing of A Charlie Brown Christmas and Disney's Prep & Landing for Prime Time tonight due to an address from the White House. Poor Charlie Brown... I feel like Lucy just pulled the football out from underneath him again!

Both programs have been re-scheduled to air...
