If you have all three Hallmark networks, you can potentially see 5 Christmas classics this week - from Thursday to Saturday! One of the movies airing, "A Glenbrooke Christmas," was one of my favorites from the 2020 Christmas season. I was just thrilled to see Autumn Reeser & Antonio Cupo coupled together again since "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" and "I Do, I Do, I Do." Don't you just love the picture of the two above - holding hands? So sweet!

The story in "A Glenbrooke Christmas" about the town coming together in their effort to hopefully get the Church bells 🔔 ringing again - was truly beautiful. I hope you enjoy this movie and other classics airing this week! See details below...

Hope you enjoy the Christmas movies airing this week. "Finding a Family" isn't very Christmassy, but there is some Christmas in it; plus, it's a very touching story. (Please note: I don't recommend this movie for young children because the mother has addiction issues.) It is based on a true story.

I'm hoping I'll be able to catch a few of these, especially "A Glenbrooke Christmas" and "Snow Bride." Since "Finding a Family" airs at 7am on Saturday morning, I think I'll sleep in and record that one!

PLOT:

Storyline via Hallmark: Garage sale guru and amateur sleuth Jennifer Shannon agrees to appear on a new reality TV series. During the show she comes in contact with a mysterious puzzle box, in which the box’s now-deceased creator may have placed the clue to her killer. When the dead woman’s daughter-in-law is found dead just a few days later, Jennifer’s curiosity once again places her in harm’s way as she embarks on her own unorthodox investigation of the murders.

Antonio Cupo stars in Christmas Movie "A Christmas Tail"

A new Christmas movie titled "A Christmas Tail" starring Antonio Cupo (Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Hats Off to Christmas, etc...), Chandra West (For the Love of Grace) and Tiera Skovbye (Three Weeks, Three Kids) is a new release - Direct-to-DVD film. (not sure if anyone will have the rights to air it on TV this year)

Plot description: Two single parents fall in love while fighting over a puppy to give to their children for Christmas.

Hmm... While this movie looks cute... it looks quite familiar...

like a Christmassy version of Hallmark's "Puppy Love", with two children, instead of one. Still, from what the trailer shows, it looks sweet and decent - one I would definitely watch - especially since it stars Antonio, who I love in the movie: Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Here's a little extra trivia type info:

the daughter in this movie, portrayed by actress Tiera Skovbye, is the real life sister to Ali Skovbye, from Gourmet Detective and One Christmas Eve.

When she arrives, Jessica is shocked to discover that the choir can't sing and that the Church Deaconess (Gloria Reuben) is betting on her to fail. During the process, Jessica builds a friendship with church handyman Ben (Antonio Cupo) and is challenged by choir member and teen runaway Alice (Amy Forsyth). Through their friendship and her work with the choir, she rekindles her love of music and finally finishes the song she's been struggling with for many years – ultimately finding love and the music career she's always dreamed of pursuing.
