It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (hint! hint!) for Hallmark Christmas Movie News!

And this weekend, my plan is to watch The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, since IMDB recently revealed some exciting news...

Warren Christie (Morgan, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year), it appears, based on the IMDB cast list, will be Fiona Gubelmann's opposite in the new Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas movie, A Royal Montana Christmas! This hasn't been officially announced by Hallmark yet, but I think this pairing has great potential!

And more exciting NEW Christmas movie news, Great American Family has officially announced one of Candace Cameron Bure's 2025 Christmas movies - see details here! (I may have to squeeze a Candace Christmas movie in over the weekend, too!)

Enjoy the Christmas movie marathon, everyone!

Stay cozy!

  2. Net...Last year GAF had their first new Christmas movie on Saturday October 12th, so I have my online Countdown to New Christmas movies Clock set for Saturday October 11th. That's ONLY 5 1/2 months away. Sounds soooo much closer than 6 months, right? lol

  3. The Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Dream Book comes out tomorrow April 25th also. Another marker day of Christmas 2025. It's kind of scary that I know this.

  4. I am definitely going to watch A Royal Montana Christmas, since I can see how Warren and Fiona - who both play comedy and drama so well - could have great chemistry together!

And so many great Christmas movies being shown this weekend! In fact, the first four movies listed for tonight (Thursday) on Hallmark Mystery are among my all-time favorites!!

  5. Ashley Williams confirmed today in her IG stories that the 2 movies she recently filmed in Spain with Allison Sweeney will air in June. -Maria

    1. Maria it wasn't Ashley Williams who confirmed it. Ashley reshared Alison Sweeneys IG story to her story. Alison was the one who shared it first and it was her story.

    2. Maria, Thank you for the news! It really makes sense that their movie will be released in June. Hallmark is likely reviving the Passport to Love destination-themed movies for that month.

  6. I love so many of these movies that will be playing this weekend! Bramble House, Magic Stocking, The Christmas Secret, but I also have some Christmas movies saved to my DVR that I still have NOT watched so not sure what I’ll be watching this 25th yet…I am so behind on my movies because whenever I have free time to watch something before bed, I end up watching my familiar favorite, Murder She Wrote.

  8. Alison Sweeney & Ashley Williams are co-starring in two new Hallmark movies, which they are filming in Spain. The two actresses have been planning this collaboration for a while, with Sweeney expressing excitement about working with her friend and colleague. They are filming the two movies in different locations within Spain

  9. Sugarplummed -- first time watching -- wow and wow!! Somehow I went from watching almost no movies these past several months to watching 4-5 this weekend to "mark the 25th". And I completely agree with Mark25 and Joan about Sugarplummed; an absolutely fantastic movie with great lead actresses! Definitely worth buying the dvd. I also watched Unlocking Christmas, A Song for Christmas, Dashing Through the Snow, and I'm halfway through Angels & Ornaments as well as Jingle Bell Princess. Phew, I seem to be making up for my Christmas-movie-drought!! 🀣 ~~Jane
